  • Michael Benning: Eligible to link up with new team

Benning was not tendered a qualifying offer from Florida on Monday, according to Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald.

Benning, a right-shot blueliner, made his NHL debut in 2025-26. The 24-year-old suited up for 18 games with the Panthers, registering two goals and six points. Benning spent the majority of the year with AHL Charlotte, though, as he accrued eight goals and 31 points over 57 regular-season contests with the Checkers. Benning should have no problem drawing interest when free agency opens Wednesday.

  • Donovan Sebrango: Not extended qualifying offer

Sebrango did not receive a qualifying offer from the Panthers on Monday, per Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald.

Sebrango is now free to sign with any other NHL club when free agency opens July 1. The left-shot defenseman was claimed off waivers by Florida from Ottawa at the beginning of last season. Sebrango went on to supply eight helpers and 76 hits over 40 games with the Panthers, in addition to appearing in two regular-season contests with the Senators.

  • Mammoth's Nick DeSimone: Back with Utah

DeSimone penned a two-year, $2 million contract with the Mammoth on Monday.

DeSimone appeared in 40 regular-season games with Utah in 2025-26, providing two goals, eight points, 31 blocks and a plus-4 rating. The 31-year-old will probably start the 2026-27 campaign as the team's seventh defenseman.

  • Kyle Masters D | CAR

Kyle Masters: Doesn't receive qualifying offer

Masters is slated to become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday after he didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Ducks.

Masters and the No. 192 pick in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft were traded to the Ducks from the Hurricanes on Saturday in exchange for the rights to John Carlson. However, Masters will have an opportunity to test the open market ahead of the 2026-27 season. He played exclusively for ECHL Wichita last year, recording three assists across 10 regular-season appearances.

  • Zac Jones D | UTA

Zac Jones: Slated to become free agent

Jones will become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday after he didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Sabres, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports.

Jones made a career-high 46 regular-season NHL appearances during the 2024-25 campaign, recording a goal, 10 assists, 46 blocked shots, 28 hits and 24 PIM while averaging 17:15 of ice time. However, he joined Buffalo on a two-way deal ahead of the 2025-26 season and didn't appear in any NHL games last year. He'll attempt to seek out opportunities during the offseason.

  • Calen Addison: Cut loose by team

New Jersey didn't tender a qualifying offer to Addison on Monday.

Addison will be eligible for unrestricted free agency Wednesday. He earned six goals and 31 points in 65 appearances for AHL Utica during the 2025-26 regular season.

  • Vladislav Kolyachonok: Doesn't receive qualifying offer

Kolyachonok didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Stars, and he'll become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday.

Kolyachonok made 13 regular-season NHL appearances between the Bruins and Stars last year, posting a goal, two assists, 13 blocked shots, five hits and four PIM while averaging 12:32 of ice time. After suiting up for four NHL teams across the past two seasons, he'll seek out other opportunities ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Jordan Harris: Set to become free agent

Harris didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Bruins, and he'll become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday, Belle Fraser of the Bruins' official site reports.

Harris made eight regular-season appearances for the Bruins last year, recording a goal, two assists, five hits and five blocked shots while averaging 15:54 of ice time. He's made NHL appearances in each of the last five seasons, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him generate interest on the open market during the offseason.

  • Jets' Jack St. Ivany: Flipped in player swap

St. Ivany was traded to the Jets from the Penguins on Monday in exchange for David Gustafsson.

St. Ivany put up decent numbers in limited opportunities for the Penguins in 2025-26, tallying seven assists in 20 regular-season games. The defenseman likely faced an uphill battle in securing minutes with the Penguins, and while he will still need to put together a strong camp, his path to minutes is likely a little easier with his new club.

  • Egor Zamula D | CLB

    Egor Zamula: No qualifying offer

Zamula didn't get a qualifying offer from Columbus on Monday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.

Zamula will be eligible for unrestricted free agency Wednesday. He had three assists, 18 shots on net and 40 blocked shots across 33 regular-season appearances between Columbus and Philadelphia in 2025-26.
