Chase Lucas CB | TB
Buccaneers' Chase Lucas: Joins Bucs defense
The Buccaneers have agreed to terms with Lucas on a one-year deal, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
After appearing in 15 regular-season games for the 49ers in 2025, Lucas hit the open market this offseason once he didn't receive a contract tender as a restricted free agent. Since entering the NFL as a 2022 seventh-rounder (by the Lions), Lucas has made most of his mark as a special teamer, a trend that figures to remain the case for the depth cornerback in Tampa Bay.

Mark Andrews TE | BAL
Ravens' Mark Andrews: Primed for larger role in 2026?
Andrews said Wednesday that he expects "a lot of opportunities in this offense" after fellow tight ends Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar left the Ravens this offseason, NFL.com reports.
More help is probably on the way, but so far Baltimore has only signed blocking specialist Durham Smythe to help replace Likely (Giants) and Kolar (Chargers) at tight end. The Ravens also lost long-time fullback Patrick Ricard, who followed Likely and coach John Harbaugh to New York. Andrews, meanwhile, is entering the first season of the three-year extension he signed in December, with his 2026 compensation fully guaranteed and his 2027 salary partially guaranteed ($5 million out of $9 million). The Ravens clearly have him ticketed for a key role under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, but that doesn't mean Andrews will approach his peak volume (or production). He'll turn 31 in September, coming off back-to-back seasons with less than 4.5 targets and 40 yards per game. Even the TD production slipped in 2025, with Andrews posting a 48-422-5 receiving line (compared to 55-673-11 in 2024) while finishing with career-low marks for yards per catch (8.8) and yards per target (6.0).

J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN
Broncos' J.K. Dobbins: Prioritized in free agency
Broncos coach Sean Payton said last week that Dobbins was "a priority ahead of all others" this offseason, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Payton went on to describe Dobbins as a "compound multiplier" who "brings 10 others along with him in positive light." The glowing comments came three weeks after Denver re-signed Dobbins to a two-year, $16 million contract. It's essentially a one-year deal, with $8 million guaranteed this year and then a team option for around $8 million in 2027. Broncos GM George Paton said last week that Dobbins has made a full recovery from his season-ending foot injury, noting that the RB might've even played in the Super Bowl if Denver had made it, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports. Dobbins and RJ Harvey figure to get most of the first-team backfield reps this spring, with Dobbins the current favorite to start Week 1.

Jawaan Taylor OT | ATL
Falcons' Jawaan Taylor: Finds home with Falcons
Taylor agreed to terms Wednesday on a one-year contract with Atlanta, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Taylor's deal reportedly carries a base value of $5 million with an additional $1 million in incentives. The veteran offensive lineman projects to step in as the Falcons' new starting RT across from LT Jake Matthews, with Kaleb McGary (leg) having announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday. Taylor has started all 111 of his career regular-season appearances.

Kaleb McGary OT | ATL
Kaleb McGary: Hanging up the cleats
McGary announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday, per his representation Collin Roberts.
McGary inked a two-year, $30 million contract with the Falcons prior to the start of the 2025 campaign and was expected to hold down the fort as the team's starting right tackle, but a left leg injury suffered last August forced him to miss the entire year. New head coach Kevin Stefanski expressed optimism as recently as late March that McGary could be ready for the start of training camp this offseason, but instead Atlanta will need to seek a new right tackle to cover the blindsides of southpaw QBs Michael Penix (ACL) and Tua Tagovailoa. To fill the void left by McGary, the Falcons are signing Jawaan Taylor to a one-year deal, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Daniel Faalele G | NYG
Giants' Daniel Faalele: Follows Harbaugh on one-year deal
Faalele agreed to terms Wednesday on a one-year contract with the Giants.
Faalele reunites with head coach John Harbaugh and will provide competition for a starting role at offensive guard with New York. A 2022 fourth-round pick, Faalele started 35 of his 66 regular-season appearances across four years in Baltimore.

Bryan Bresee DT | NO
Saints' Bryan Bresee: Contract option picked up
The Saints have picked up Bresee's fifth-year contract option, Matthew Paras of The Times-Picayune reports.
As a result of the move, Bresee, who was the Saints' 2023 first-round pick, will be under contract with the team for the 2027 season under a deal estimated to be "north of $13 million," per Paras. The 24-year-old logged 37 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 15 regular-season games in 2025 while seeing action on a career-high 69 percent of New Orleans' defensive snaps. Considering that he recorded 7.5 sacks in 2024, Bresee -- who is presumably past the knee issue he dealt with late last season -- is a bounce-back candidate this year in his starting role along the Saints' defensive line.

Will Anderson Jr. DE | HOU
Texans' Will Anderson: Texans exercise fifth-year option
Houston picked up the fifth-year option on Anderson's rookie contract Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Anderson is now under contract with the Texans through 2027, though the team likely remains motivated to work out terms on a long-term deal for the star defensive end. Across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025, Anderson tallied 54 tackles (35 solo), including 12.0 sacks, plus one touchdown. In addition to those career-high marks, Anderson added three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He remains a pillar of Houston's pass rush alongside Danielle Hunter, and he is a high-end fantasy option in IDP formats.

C.J. Stroud QB | HOU
Texans' C.J. Stroud: Fifth-year option picked up
The Texans have exercised the fifth-year option of Stroud's rookie contract Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Stroud thus remains under contract through 2027, though his fifth-year option being picked up doesn't necessarily preclude Houston from inking the 24-year-old quarterback to an extension. Trade rumors surrounded Stroud early in the offseason, but GM Nick Caserio doubled down on the team's long-term commitments to the 2023 first-round pick during the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine and the league's annual owners meetings. Across 14 regular-season appearances in 2025, Stroud threw for 3,041 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions, the lowest TD and yardage totals of his career to date. The case for Stroud to rebound for fantasy purposes next year relies on projecting wideouts Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel to take a step forward in Year 2 alongside No. 1 WR Nico Collins, and potentially also for Tank Dell (knee) to resume producing after missing all of 2025. The Texans also have Xavier Hutchinson, Justin Watson and TE Dalton Schultz (calf) rounding out the receiving corps.

Jay Tufele DT | DET
Jay Tufele: Visits Detroit
The Lions hosted Tufele (foot) for a visit Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Tufele appeared in 12 regular-season games with the Jets last season, making two starts, but finished the campaign on injured reserve after recording 12 tackles (five solo) across 230 defensive snaps.
