Teven Jenkins G | CLE
Browns' Teven Jenkins: Won't play vs. Steelers
Jenkins (back) is officially listed as out for Thursday's game versus Pittsburgh.
Jenkins was able to return to practice during the week on a limited basis, but he'll have to wait at least one more game to make his 2026 regular-season debut. Rookie third-rounder Austin Barber should get another start at right guard in Week 4.

Monroe Freeling OT | CAR
Panthers' Monroe Freeling: DNP due to concussion
Freeling (concussion) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
Freeling entered the league's concussion protocol following the Panthers' 21-18 loss to the Browns in Week 3. A return to practice would indicate that the rookie first-rounder is progressing in his recovery, but even if he logs a full session, he would need to be cleared by an independent neurologist in order to play. Stone Forsythe and Albert Reese would be the top candidates to start at right tackle if Freeling is not cleared to play against the Lions on Sunday.

Elgton Jenkins C | CLE
Browns' Elgton Jenkins: Won't play Thursday
Jenkins (concussion) is officially listed as out for Thursday's game versus the Steelers.
Jenkins was unable to practice during the week after entering concussion protocol, and he'll now spend at least one game on the sidelines as he recovers. In his stead, Luke Wypler projects to start at center in Week 4.

Brandin Echols CB | PIT
Steelers' Brandin Echols: Questionable after clearing protocol
Echols (concussion) is listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's game against the Browns, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reported Wednesday.
Echols cleared the NFL's five-step concussion protocol Wednesday but remains questionable for Thursday's game. It is unclear why the cornerback may be held out of the contest, but it may have to do with the limited amount of prep the 28-year-old was able to achieve in a short week.

Damien Lewis G | CAR
Panthers' Damien Lewis: Could return after Panthers' bye
Coach Dave Canales said Wednesday that Lewis (elbow) may return to game action following Carolina's bye in Week 5, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Lewis sustained a UCL injury during Sunday's game at Cleveland, and it looks like he'll have to miss at least one game as a result. For now, Corey Bullock figures to start at left guard Sunday versus the Lions.

Jonathan Bullard DE | DAL
Cowboys' Jonathan Bullard: Lands on IR
The Cowboys placed Bullard (calf) on injured reserve Wednesday, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Bullard suffered a calf injury during the Cowboys' Week 3 loss to the Ravens. The injury is severe enough for him to require a stint on IR, which means he'll have to miss at least the next four games and is eligible to return for Week 8 against the Cardinals on Sunday, Nov. 1. Rookie fourth-rounder LT Overton could see a bump in rotational defensive snaps for as long as Bullard is on the shelf.

Dylan Parham G | NYJ
Jets' Dylan Parham: Considered week to week
Parham is considered week to week due to a knee injury, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Parham is expected to sit out Sunday's matchup versus the Bears after suffering a knee injury during the Week 3 loss to the Lions. In his absence, James Meredith will likely start at left guard.

Andre James OT | BAL
Andre James: Joins Ravens' practice squad
Baltimore signed James (undisclosed) to its practice squad Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Jovaughn Gwyn fractured his fibula during Baltimore's contest against the Cowboys in Week 3 in Brazil, and veteran Ethan Pocic suffered a serious knee injury in that same game, prompting the Ravens to add some organizational depth at center. James primarily served as a backup at the position for the Chargers in 2025.
-
Josh Simmons OT | KC
Chiefs' Josh Simmons: Not practicing with bulging disc issue
Simmons (back) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Simmons has a bulging disc in his lower back. Coach Andy Reid said the left tackle continues to make progress and regain strength but has not given any hints as to when the left tackle will return. The 2025 first-rounder played eight games in 2025 as a rookie but has been unable to suit up at all in 2026.

Chris Braswell LB | HOU
Texans' Chris Braswell: Signs to active roster
The Texans signed Braswell from the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.
Braswell played 17 regular-season games with the Buccaneers in 2025, logging 30 tackles (21 solo), including 1.0 sacks, over 281 defensive snaps and 204 special-teams snaps. The defensive end will now provide additional depth to a Texans line that may be without Will Anderson (ankle) and Jadeveon Clowney (knee) in Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys.
