John Michael Schmitz C | NYG
Giants' John Michael Schmitz: Won't play Sunday
Schmitz (finger) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Schmitz was initially listed as doubtful to play in Week 17, so it's little surprise to see the starting center now be ruled out. Austin Schlottmann is likely to step up as New York's top center for as long as Schmitz remains sidelined.

JP Richardson WR | CHI
Bears' JP Richardson: Elevated to face 49ers
The Bears have elevated Richardson from the practice squad Saturday, ahead of Sunday night's matchup against San Francisco.
Richardson looks set to make his regular-season debut as a depth option at wideout for Chicago in Week 17. The undrafted rookie out of TCU flashed for the Bears during training camp and the preseason.

Isaac Seumalo G | ARI
Steelers' Isaac Seumalo: Downgraded to out
The Steelers announced Saturday that Seumalo (triceps) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Browns.
Seumalo was initially listed as questionable to play in Week 17, but his triceps injury will ultimately force him to sit out a second consecutive game. Spencer Anderson will stand to draw another start at LG in Seumalo's stead.

Theo Johnson TE | NYG
Giants' Theo Johnson: Won't play Sunday
Johnson (illness) won't travel with the Giants for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
With Johnson having been downgraded to out for the contest, Daniel Bellinger and Chris Manhertz are slated to lead the Giants' Week 17 tight end corps. Johnson's next chance to see game action will arrive in Week 18, when New York faces Dallas at home.

Dalton Tucker OL | IND
Colts' Dalton Tucker: Ruled out for Week 17
Tucker (shoulder) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Tucker's absence will leave Indianapolis with another hole along the interior O-line, which is especially notable with starting center Tanor Bortolini (concussion) already ruled out. With Tucker out, Josh Sills will act as the primary backup to both LG Quenton Nelson and RG Matt Goncalves.

Jalen Ramsey CB | PIT
Steelers' Jalen Ramsey: Cleared to play Sunday
The Steelers announced Saturday that Ramsey (illness) has been cleared to suit up for Sunday's road matchup against Cleveland.
Ramsey was initially listed as questionable due to an illness, but the veteran is ready to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup without issue. He's handled 100 percent of defensive snaps in each of Pittsburgh's last five games.

Sauce Gardner CB | IND
Colts' Sauce Gardner: Cleared for Week 17
The Colts announced Saturday that Gardner (calf) has had his injury designation removed for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Gardner will retake the field versus Jacksonville on Sunday after having missed Indianapolis' prior three games due to a calf issue. His return will provide a notable boost for the Colts' secondary as the team looks to contain opposing QB Trevor Lawrence, who has thrown 12 touchdowns without a single INT across his last four appearances.

Ashton Dulin WR | IND
Colts' Ashton Dulin: Ready to face Jags
Dulin (hamstring) has had his injury designation removed for Sunday's game against Jacksonville.
Dulin was initially listed as questionable to play Sunday, but after being activated from IR on Saturday he's now had that designation removed entirely. He'll be available to operate as a depth option in Indianapolis' wide receiver corps versus the Jaguars as well as to contribute on kick returns due to Anthony Gould (foot) having been placed on IR.
-
Sal Cannella TE | CLE
Browns' Sal Cannella: Elevated from practice squad
The Browns have elevated Cannella from the practice squad Saturday in advance of Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Cannella is being elevated as a depth option at tight end due to top playmaker Harold Fannin (groin) being listed as questionable and David Njoku (groin) ruled out. The expectation is that Fannin will be good to go versus Pittsburgh, but Cannella will get a chance to handle third-string duties if the rookie starter ends up inactive.
-
Bailey Zappe QB | NYJ
Browns' Bailey Zappe: Elevated for Week 17
Zappe has been elevated from the practice squad Saturday in advance of Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Zappe will stand to either handle third-string QB duties versus Pittsburgh or act as the No. 2 option behind Shedeur Sanders in the event that Dillon Gabriel (shoulder), who is listed as questionable, can't play. The last time Zappe saw the field was to make a single start for Cleveland in 2024, in which he completed 16 of 31 pass attempts for 170 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
