  • Buccaneers' Benjamin Morrison: Won't play against Dallas

Morrison (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Cowboys, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Morrison will end up missing two consecutive games due to a quadriceps injury that he sustained during Week 4 prep, and his next chance to play is Week 6 against the Steelers on Sunday, Oct. 18. In Morrison's absence, the Buccaneers will lean more heavily on Zyon McCollum, Jacob Parrish and Keionte Scott in the secondary.

  • Ben Yurosek TE | MIN

Vikings' Ben Yurosek: Returns to practice Wednesday

    Yurosek (undisclosed) practiced Wednesday.

It's unknown how involved Yurosek was during practice, though it appears he could be nearing a return after landing on injured reserve to begin the 2026 campaign. The 24-year-old appeared in 12 regular-season games in 2025, amassing two catches (three targets) for 14 yards.

  • Jets' Braiden McGregor: Placed on injured reserve

McGregor (pectoral) was placed on the Jets' injured reserve list Wednesday, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.

McGregor will miss the rest of the 2026 season due to a pectoral injury he sustained during the Jets' Week 4 loss to the Bears. His move to IR opens up a spot on the 53-man roster, which the Jets filled with Nate Lynn, who signed with the team's practice squad following the conclusion of training camp in late August.

  • Jeshaun Jones WR | MIN

Jeshaun Jones: Signed to Vikings' PS

The Vikings signed Jones to the practice squad Wednesday.

Jones was active for Sunday's win over Miami but didn't log a snap. He was waived Monday, though he will remain in Minnesota for now as a member of the practice squad.

  • Carlos Washington: Back on Dolphins' practice squad

The Dolphins signed Washington to the practice squad Wednesday.

Washington was signed to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 15-10 loss to Minnesota. With De'Von Achane (knee) out for the remainder of the 2026 campaign, Washington could see more action with the Dolphins moving forward, though he likely won't have much of a role behind Ollie Gordon and Jaylen Wright.

  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Limited by shoulder injury

Bateman (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

It's a new injury for Bateman, and the same can be said for Zay Flowers, who was limited with a foot injury Wednesday. With Lamar Jackson (ankle) set to miss Week 5 against the Falcons, Bateman is an uninspiring fantasy bet if he plays.

  • Tank Dell WR | HOU

Texans' Tank Dell: Limited in return to practice

Dell (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Dell made his first practice appearance of the regular season, though he remains on injured reserve after his 21-day evaluation window was officially opened Wednesday. The Texans have been taking it easy with Dell as he works his way back from a severe multi-ligament left knee injury, which he sustained Dec. 21, 2024. Houston has plenty of opportunity for snaps and targets behind No. 1 receiver Nico Collins, but in order to stake his claim to a meaningful role once he's activated from IR at some point over the next three weeks, Dell will need to show in practices that he hasn't lost too much of his pre-injury speed and explosiveness.

  • Kenny Fletcher: Cut from Colts' practice squad

Fletcher was cut from the Colts' practice squad Wednesday.

Fletcher hasn't been able to catch on with an NFL team since going undrafted in 2026. He could draw interest from other clubs around the league, though he has an uphill climb before earning a spot on a 53-man roster.

  • Jeremiyah Love RB | ARI

Cardinals' Jeremiyah Love: Ankle injury downplayed by LaFleur

Head coach Mike LaFleur said Wednesday that Love's ankle injury shouldn't impact him during Week 5 prep, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

The Cardinals have yet to post Wednesday's injury report, but LaFleur previously told Dani Sureck of the team's official site on Monday that Love has a new ankle issue that's unrelated to the high-ankle sprain he tended to in August. LaFleur's most recent comments imply that Love may not have practice restrictions this week, or if he does he could be listed as "not-injury related, rest."

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: No practice, but not ruled out for Week 5

The Ravens listed Jackson (ankle) as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice.

Head coach Jesse Minter was non-committal on Jackson's status for the Ravens' Week 5 matchup with the Falcons following practice, noting that "there'll be a point later in the week" where the team "figures out where he's at." Per Sam Cohn of The Baltimore Sun, Minter also noted Wednesday that Jackson could miss the majority of the practice week and still play Sunday, but at this point, the two-time MVP seems more likely than not to sit out in Atlanta while he manages a sprained left ankle. Tyler Huntley took the reps with the first-team offense during Wednesday's practice and would be in line to start if Jackson is sidelined this weekend.
