  • Saints' Dillon Radunz: Leaves practice with knee injury

Radunz sustained a knee injury during Saturday's training camp practice, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Radunz tweaked his knee early in Saturday's practice, and he'll undergo further tests to determine the severity of the injury and whether he'll be available for the Saints' preseason opener against the Jaguars on Saturday, Aug. 15. William Sherman would be in line for more snaps at offensive guard if Radunz were to miss time.

  • VJ Payne SAF | NYJ

Jets' VJ Payne: Sidelined 3-to-4 weeks

Payne will be sidelined for 3-to-4 weeks due to a bone bruise, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Payne picked up the injury during Saturday's training camp practice. Given the injury timeline, the rookie seventh-rounder will likely miss the Jets' first two preseason games but could be available to play against the Giants on Friday, Aug. 28.

  • Cam Lewis CB | CHI

Bears' Cam Lewis: Carted off field Saturday

Lewis left the field on a cart with a trainer Saturday after appearing to suffer a left leg injury, Sean Hammond of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Lewis was hurt during a two-minute drill and limped off the field while favoring his left leg. Though he was carted to the locker room, Greg Braggs Jr. of CHGO Sports notes that it's "standard procedure" for players to get a cart when hurt on Fields 3 and 4 (as Lewis was), whether the injury is serious or not. With that in mind, Lewis' outlook is hazy for the time being.

  • Jamari Thrash WR | CLE

Browns' Jamari Thrash: Reverts to injured reserve

Thrash (undisclosed) reverted to the Browns' reserve/injured list Saturday after clearing waivers, per the NFL's transaction log.

No team claimed Thrash off waivers after he was let go by the Browns on Friday. Now that he's on IR, the 2024 fifth-rounder will be forced to miss the entire 2026 season unless an injury settlement is reached with Cleveland.

  • Ravens' Jamon Johnson: Catches on with Baltimore

The Ravens signed Johnson to a contract Saturday, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.

Johnson spent time on the Packers' practice squad last year and appeared in two regular-season games, logging 10 tackles (three solo) and one pass defense. He'll have the opportunity to practice with the Ravens in training camp, and a strong audition could land him a spot on the team's 53-man roster or practice squad for the start of the 2026 season.

  • Raiders' Keyron Crawford: Sits out of Saturday's practice

Crawford (undisclosed) did not participate in Saturday's training camp practice, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

Per Sam Warren of The Athletic, Crawford picked up an undisclosed injury Thursday after colliding with Malcolm Koonce. The nature of Crawford's injury isn't clear, but it could prevent the rookie third-rounder from playing in Thursday's preseason opener against the Cardinals.

  • Brenden Jaimes OT | NYG

Giants' Brenden Jaimes: Catches on with Big Blue

The Giants signed Jaimes to a contract Saturday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

John Michael Schmitz (head) and Lucas Patrick (ankle) are both dealing with injuries, so the addition of Jaimes gives the Giants some depth at center. Jaimes has appeared in 50 regular-season games (three starts) since being selected by the Chargers in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He appeared in four regular-season games for the Patriots in 2025.

  • Zxavian Harris: Waived by Saints

New Orleans waived Harris (foot) from the NFI list with a non-football injury designation Saturday.

Harris had foot surgery in March and was placed on the active/NFI list in late July. The 22-year-old originally signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent, but he may need to find work with another organization once he's healthy.

  • Eagles' Chance Campbell: Dealing with hamstring injury

Campbell did not participate in Saturday's training camp practice due to a hamstring injury, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

Campbell may have tweaked his hamstring during a practice session earlier in the week, and his status will be worth monitoring ahead of the Eagles' preseason opener against the Ravens on Saturday, Aug. 15. He caught on with the Eagles in January and is looking to earn a spot on the 53-man roster by the end of training camp. Campbell was a sixth-round selection of the Titans in the 2022 NFL Draft but has not seen regular-season action since 2023.

  • Saints' Chris Rumph: Managing ankle issue

Rumph didn't practice Saturday due to an ankle injury, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.

Per Jackson, Rumph left practice early Friday after hurting his ankle, and he wasn't ready to return Saturday. It's not clear how serious the issue is, but an extended absence could hurt Rumph's chances of making the 53-man roster.
