  • Derrick Barnes LB | DET

Lions' Derrick Barnes: Resurgent 2025 campaign

Barnes recorded 78 total tackles (40 solo), including 4.0 sacks, while also adding three passes defensed, one of which was an interception, over 17 games during the 2025 regular season.

Barnes was able to return to form in 2025 after being limited to just three contests in 2024 due to a knee injury. The linebacker was able exceed 70 total tackles for the second time in his five-year career, while his 4.0 sacks matched his previous four years combined. Additionally, he was able to secure his first career interception in the team's Week 14 win over the Cowboys. Barnes will now enter the second season of his three-year contract with Detroit in 2026.

  • Jack Campbell LB | DET

Lions' Jack Campbell: Monster production in third year

Campbell recorded 176 total tackles (89 solo), including 5.0 sacks, while also adding four passes defensed, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries over 17 contests during the 2025 regular season.

Campbell found a way to take another step up in his third campaign in Detroit, setting new career high totals in tackles, sacks, forced fumbles and fumble recoveries. The linebacker finished second in the NFL in total tackles only behind Dolphins linebacker Jordyn Brooks (183). Campbell will be entering the final season of his rookie contract in 2026.

  • Jayson Jones DT | TB

Buccaneers' Jayson Jones: Staying in Tampa Bay

The Buccaneers signed Jones to a reserve/future contract Monday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Jones spent most of the 2025 season on the Buccaneers' practice-squad injured list due to an undisclosed issue. He'll remain with the organization and participate in offseason activities as he aims toward making the active roster for the 2026 campaign.

  • Darius Rush CB | WAS

Commanders' Darius Rush: Inks future deal with Washington

Rush (groin) signed a reserve/future contract with the Commanders on Monday, Zach Selby of the team's official site reports.

Rush's lone appearance in 2025 came in Week 15 against the Giants, when he played two snaps on special teams without showing up on the box score otherwise. He ended the 2025 campaign on the practice-squad injured list due to a groin injury.

  • John Bullock LB | IND

Colts' John Bullock: Claimed by Indianapolis

Bullock was claimed off waivers by the Colts on Monday.

Bullock was cut loose by the Buccaneers, and he has quickly found a new home in Indianapolis. The linebacker appeared in 15 regular-season contests with the Buccaneers this year, compiling 10 total tackles (three solo) while playing six snaps on defense and 252 with the special-teams unit. The 24-year-old will now look to compete for an active roster spot with the Colts in 2026.

  • Nick Whiteside DB | DET

Lions' Nick Whiteside: Staying in Detroit

The Lions signed Whiteside to a one-year contract Monday.

Whiteside contributed on both special teams and defense for the Lions in 2025, finishing the regular season with five tackles (three solo) and three pass defenses. The Saginaw Valley State product will remain with Detroit for the 2026 campaign, where he'll look to carve out a larger role for himself on defense.

  • PJ Jules SAF | CIN

Bengals' PJ Jules: Sticking around with Cincinnati

Jules signed a one-year contract with the Bengals on Monday.

Jules contributed mostly on special teams in 2025, logging 18 tackles (10 solo) across 14 regular-season games. He'll stay in Cincinnati and aim to earn a bigger role for himself in 2026.

  • Andrei Iosivas WR | CIN

Bengals' Andrei Iosivas: Limited output in Week 18

Iosivas had two catches for 10 yards on three targets in Sunday's loss to the Browns. He ended the season with 33 catches for 435 yards and two touchdowns, falling short of his 2024 production in all three categories.

Despite Iosivas playing every game and teammate Tee Higgins missing multiple games due to injury, Iosivas fell short of expectations this season, and not all of that was due to quarterback Joe Burrow missing eight games with a toe injury. The Bengals used fewer sets with wide receivers, but even that doesn't explain the drop-off for Iosivas, who actually played seven more offensive snaps than last season. Nonetheless, he's expected to return for another season as the Bengals' third receiver in 2026.

  • Shaka Heyward LB | CIN

Bengals' Shaka Heyward: Signs contract with Cincinnati

The Bengals signed Heyward to a one-year contract Monday.

Heyward spent time on injured reserve in 2025 due to a lower-leg injury but was able to play in the final four games of the regular season. He mostly contributed on special teams and finished with 16 tackles (four solo) across 12 games.

  • Bengals' Joe Giles-Harris: Signs extension with Cincinnati

The Bengals signed Giles-Harris to a one-year contract extension Monday.

Giles joined the Bengals' active roster in late October after starting the season on the team's practice squad. He appeared in 10 games and logged 27 tackles (14 solo) and two pass defenses while serving mostly on special teams.
