  • Cam Skattebo RB | NYG

Giants' Cam Skattebo: Loses key fumble in Week 5 tie

Skattebo rushed 13 times for 59 yards and caught two of three targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 27-27 tie against the Commanders. He also lost a fumble.

After a quiet performance in regulation, Skattebo saved his best and worst moments for overtime. He racked up 40 of his 71 scrimmage yards in OT, but Skattebo fumbled on Washington's 24-yard line as the Giants were in range for a potential game-winning field-goal attempt. That mistake was matched by a clock-management error on the other end, which prevented the Commanders from attempting a game-winning field goal of their own prior to the end of OT. Skattebo will be motivated to atone for his fumble in Week 6 against the Saints' leaky run defense.

  • Jayden Daniels QB | WAS

Commanders' Jayden Daniels: Two rushing TDs in return

Daniels (elbow) completed 17 of 25 passes for 199 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions while rushing nine times for 103 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-27 tie against the Giants. He also threw a successful two-point conversion.

Daniels wasn't afraid to run in his return from a two-game absence due to a dislocated left elbow. He scored second-half rushing touchdowns of 38 and 26 yards, the latter of which Daniels followed up with a two-point conversion to Terry McLaurin to give the Commanders a 14-point lead with 11:05 left in the fourth quarter. The Giants proceeded to erase that deficit and force OT, where Daniels drove the Commanders down to the Giants' 24-yard line with 55 seconds remaining, but Washington remarkably failed to get a game-winning field-goal attempt off, as the Commanders ran the clock down and then failed to stop the clock when Daniels went down inbounds on their final offensive play. The bizarre ending overshadows what was otherwise an encouraging performance from Daniels, who made it through the game without any physical setbacks and is set to start in Week 6 against the 49ers.

  • Bud Dupree OLB | LAC

Chargers' Bud Dupree: Downgrades to out Sunday

Dupree (neck) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Dupree exited the third quarter of Sunday's contest with a neck injury. The linebacker was originally questionable to return, but after extended evaluation, the injury has apparently been deemed severe enough to eliminate Dupree from the rest of the Chargers' divisional showdown with the Broncos.

  • Tee Higgins WR | CIN

Bengals' Tee Higgins: Two catches in Week 5 win

Higgins brought in two of four targets for 22 yards in the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

Higgins was able to work through groin and neck injuries to suit up Sunday, but the veteran field-stretching receiver wasn't called on to do much on an afternoon when Joe Burrow threw for a season-low 192 yards. Nevertheless, Higgins seemingly made it through the game unscathed -- albeit with season-low totals across the board -- and he'll now have a Week 6 bye to further recover before a Week 7 road matchup against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 25.

  • Tre Harris WR | LAC

Chargers' Tre' Harris: Dealing with hamstring injury

Harris (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Broncos.

Harris is dealing with an apparent hamstring injury, and his availability for the stretch run of Sunday's matchup is now up in the air. In his absence, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Derius Davis will likely slot into more prominent roles on offense.

  • Browns' Carson Schwesinger: Wearing walking boot after loss

Schwesinger (lower leg) was seen in a walking boot after the Browns' 17-12 loss to the Jets on Sunday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Schwesinger sustained a lower-leg injury during Sunday's loss but did not receive an official injury designation. It is unclear how significant the injury to the defensive captain and signal caller is.

  • Chase Brown RB | CIN

Bengals' Chase Brown: Can't do much with 16 touches

Brown rushed 13 times for 39 yards and brought in three of four targets for 21 yards in the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

As his final numbers corroborate, Brown found efficiency on the ground elusive against a surprisingly game Dolphins defense. The versatile back made a serviceable impact as a complementary option in the passing game, although his lost fumble came after a three-yard reception just past the midway point of the second quarter. Brown also saw Samaje Perine get some significant second-half run and ultimately outpace him by one rush attempt, but the former should remain the lead option in the ground attack coming out of a Week 6 bye in a Week 7 road matchup against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 25.

  • Drake Thomas LB | SEA

Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Dealing with ankle injury

Thomas (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the 49ers, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.

Thomas suffered an ankle injury during the first half of the game, and his status for the second half is now uncertain. In his absence, Tyrice Knight and Patrick O'Connell are both candidates to see increased roles at inside linebacker versus San Francisco.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: Offsets modest yardage with TDs

Burrow completed 23 of 32 passes for 190 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions and rushed four times for 10 yards in the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

Burrow averaged only 5.9 yards per attempt and finished with a season-low passing yardage total, but he offset the modest numbers by throwing a season-high number of touchdown passes. The prolific signal-caller benefited from having both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins available after each carried questionable designations into Sunday, and he connected with Mike Gesicki (four yards), Samaje Perine (six yards), Tanner Hudson (two yards) and Ja'Marr Chase (45 yards) four his quartet of scoring tosses. Burrow spread the ball around to nine different targets overall, and he'll take an 11:3 TD:INT into a Week 7 road matchup against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 25 following a Week 6 bye.

  • Malik Nabers WR | NYG

Giants' Malik Nabers: Productive on career-high 20 targets

Nabers caught 11 of 20 targets for 121 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-27 tie against the Commanders.

Nabers topped his previous career high of 18 targets, which came in Week 2 of his rookie 2024 season in what was also a road game against the Commanders. He caught a 17-yard touchdown with 1:43 remaining in regulation, and the ensuing PAT tied the game after the Giants had trailed by 14 earlier in the fourth quarter. Nabers also had a few near-misses, including two deep passes that hit his hands on the Giants' final drive of the first half, which ended with one of Dominic Zvada's three missed field goals in a game full of miscues from both teams. After posting just 96 scoreless yards through three games, Nabers has built momentum heading into a Week 6 home game against the Saints, with 233 receiving yards and two touchdown catches across his last two outings.
