The Falcons waived Jones on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Jones spent the 2025 campaign on injured reserve after sustaining a concussion during the preseason last summer. The 25-year-old quarterback spent the previous two seasons in the Atlanta organization but has yet to appear in a regular-season contest.

Evans will continue his playing career in 2026, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.

Evans will turn 33 years old in August but will play a 13th NFL season. He was limited to a career-low eight regular-season contests in 2025 as he dealt with hamstring and collarbone injuries in addition to a concussion. When on the field, Evans was still productive, securing 30 of 62 targets for 368 yards and three touchdowns. The six-time Pro Bowler should have plenty of interest around the league if he decides to test free agency, but a return to Tampa Bay -- the only team he's ever played for in the NFL -- is the most likely outcome.

Hayes (undisclosed) signed with the Titans on Tuesday.

Hayes appeared in one regular-season game for the Dolphins in 2024, logging four snaps on special teams. He then spent time on the practice squads of Miami and Atlanta last season before landing on the Falcons' practice-squad injured list in October. Hayes will compete for a reserve role along the offensive line in Tennessee.

Sigle finished the 2025 regular season with 52 tackles (28 solo) and two passes defended across 15 games with the 49ers.

The fifth-round rookie began his pro career by making five starts in place of injured safety Malik Mustapha. Sigle accrued 39 of his 52 tackles during that span, showing flashes of IDP utility. The 23-year-old figures to serve as depth behind Mustapha and Ji'Ayir Brown in 2026, especially with Jason Pinnock set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Green finished the regular season with 60 tackles (36 solo) and 10 passes defended across 14 starts with the 49ers.

Green began his sophomore campaign as a starting corner and finished with similar counting stats to his rookie season, sans the two turnovers he forced last year. The 2024 second-round pick missed the last couple games of the regular season with an ankle injury, but he was able to recover in time to make a pair of playoff appearances. Green should have an inside track on a starting role next season, assuming the 49ers do not make significant additions to a secondary that ranked in the bottom third of the league in 2025.

The Seahawks are not expected to extend the franchise tag to Walker, who will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Seattle will have a number of tough roster decisions following the team's Super Bowl LX victory, with a contract extension for Jaxon Smith-Njigba likely being the top priority. Walker played a full 17 regular-season games for the first time in his career in 2025, rushing 221 times for 1,027 yards and five scores while securing 31 of 36 targets for 282 receiving yards. He was even more dominant during the postseason, culminating in Super Bowl MVP honors after he rushed for 135 yards versus the Patriots, adding two catches for 26 yards. The franchise tag would lock him into a 2026 salary of $14.5 million, however, which could be more than Seattle can afford. While the Seahawks could still attempt to sign Walker to an extension, it may be difficult for the team to compete with the offers the 25-year-old running back projects to receive on the open market. Seattle still also has Zach Charbonnet (knee) under contract, though after having suffered an ACL tear in the divisional round his availability for Week 1 is uncertain at best.

Brown (hamstring) had 76 tackles (44 solo), two interceptions and one forced fumble in 17 regular-season starts with the 49ers in 2025.

Brown turned in another solid regular-season campaign splitting time between both starting safety positions while Malik Mustapha started the campaign on the PUP list. The 25-year-old Brown suffered a hamstring injury during the 49ers' postseason run that cost him the team's final game, a road loss to the Seahawks in the divisional round. Assuming that the versatile safety is able to recover in time for training camp, Brown will enter the final year of his rookie deal with the inside track to a starting safety gig.

Winters recorded 101 tackles (67 solo) and an interception in 17 regular-season games with the 49ers in 2025.

Winters took over the starting role vacated by Dre Greenlaw's departure to Denver this past offseason. The third-year linebacker played the most snaps of his career (1,010) while cracking the century mark in combined tackles for IDP managers. Fred Warner (ankle) should be ready to reclaim his spot in the middle of San Francisco's defense in 2026, and Winters' strong play has put him in prime position to start alongside Warner for the final year of his rookie contract.

Igbinoghene recorded 35 total tackles (22 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding five passes defensed and 191 kickoff-return yards over 15 contests during the 2025 regular season.

Igbinoghene was able to register at least 35 takedowns for the second straight year after compiling 29 total tackles over his first four seasons in the NFL. The 26-year-old was also able to notch his first career sack in 2025, bringing down Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee in the regular-season finale. Igbinoghene is set to become a free agent in the offseason, and his increased production over the last two seasons has certainly raised his value on the open market.

Newton recorded 38 total tackles (21 solo), including 5.0 sacks, while also adding a pass defensed and a forced fumble over 17 contests during the 2025 regular season.

Newton was able to play in all 17 of the team's regular-season contests, securing at least 38 takedowns for the second straight year. The defensive lineman secured a new career-high 5.0 sacks, most of which came in Week 17 against the Cowboys, registering nine total tackles, including 3.0 sacks, in the team's 30-23 loss to Dallas. Newton will likely enter the 2026 campaign as a top reserve option behind Daron Payne and Javon Kinlaw at defensive tackle.
