Azeez Al-Shaair LB | HOU
Texans' Azeez Al-Shaair: Nine stops in loss to Denver
Al-Shaair recorded nine tackles (four solo) in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.
Al-Shaiir's nine tackles were his second-most of the season, as he's started all eight games and played 98 percent of the Texans' defensive snaps. He's up to 51 tackles (26 solo), five pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery on the campaign.

Demario Davis OLB | NO
Saints' Demario Davis: Logs season-high tackle total
Davis recorded 13 tackles (four solo) during Sunday's 34-10 loss against the Rams.
Davis has now collected double-digit tackles in six of his last eight showings, and he's already on the doorstep of his ninth straight year with 100-plus tackles. He figures to have another opportunity at a big game in Week 10 against a run-dependent Carolina offense.

Trent McDuffie CB | KC
Chiefs' Trent McDuffie: Huge performance against Buffalo
McDuffie recorded 12 tackles (five solo), including one sack and one tackle for loss in Sunday's 28-21 loss to the Bills.
The Chiefs shuffled their secondary alignment in Week 9, with McDuffie logging a season-high 28 snaps from the slot. That led to 35 snaps in a run defense role, which helped McDuffie tally a career-high 12 tackles. It remains to be seen if this usage carries forward, but it would benefit McDuffie's IDP outlook.

Nate Landman LB | LAR
Rams' Nate Landman: Five tackles against New Orleans
Landman recorded five tackles (zero solo) and one forced fumble in the Rams' win over the Saints on Sunday.
While Landman played 93 percent of the defensive snaps against New Orleans, the Rams' defense was barely on the field, as the Saints mustered just 10 first downs on the day and ran just 40 offensive plays, as they were tripled up in time of possession. On the season, Landman has posted 72 tackles (33 solo), including 1.5 sacks, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries on 92 percent of the defensive snaps.

Cody Barton LB | TEN
Titans' Cody Barton: Pick-six in Week 9 loss
Barton recorded six tackles (two solo), including a pick-six, during the Titans' 27-20 loss to the Chargers on Sunday.
Barton opened the scoring early in the second quarter, when he picked off a Justin Herbert pass intended for Keenan Allen and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown. It was Barton's third interception of the season and second pick-six of his career. Heading into the Week 10 bye, the 2019 third-rounder is up to 51 tackles (27 solo) and four pass defenses through nine regular-season games.

Barrett Carter LB | CIN
Bengals' Barrett Carter: Double-digit tackles in loss
Carter recorded 10 tackles (five solo) and one pass breakup in the Bengals' loss to the Bears on Sunday.
Carter has taken over as an every-down linebacker in Cincinnati, and the Bengals' trade of Logan Wilson to the Cowboys on Tuesday cemented his standing as a starter in the middle of the defense. Carter has started each of the last four games and has played all 270 defensive snaps in that span. He's recorded double-digit tackles in three of the four contests and is now up to 58 tackles (32 solo) and one pass breakup on 355 defensive snaps this season. Carter should remain a tackling machine moving forward.

Cedric Gray LB | TEN
Titans' Cedric Gray: Logs 16 tackles, sack in Week 9
Gray registered 16 tackles (11 solo), including 1.0 sacks, during the Titans' 27-20 loss to the Chargers on Sunday.
After logging just five stops in Week 8, Gray bounced back with another monster effort. Eleven of his 16 stops were solo, including his first sack of the 2025 campaign, when he took down Justin Herbert for a seven-yard loss early in the fourth quarter. Gray has reached double-digit tackles in five of his last six games, and his 91 stops (through nine regular-season games) are second most in the NFL behind Jordyn Brooks (93).

Jordan Battle SAF | CIN
Bengals' Jordan Battle: Career-best 12 tackles in defeat
Battle recorded 12 tackles (five solo) in Sunday's loss to the Bears.
Battle's dozen tackles matched his career-high, a mark he's now hit three times, including Week 1 against the Browns. Battle has started all nine games this season and has posted 70 tackles (31 solo) and four pass breakups, including three interceptions, on 99 percent of the defensive snaps. However, Battle has been part of the seemingly weekly coverage busts on the back end of the Cincinnati defense.

Brian Branch SAF | DET
Lions' Brian Branch: Six stops in return
Branch recorded six tackles (four solo) in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Vikings.
Branch returned to the field for the first time since serving a one-game suspension and played 100 percent of snaps. He had a modest stat line, but he now has at least six stops in all but two contests for the campaign.
