49ers' Terique Owens: Lands reserve/future deal
San Francisco signed Owens to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Owens signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent in May. He hurt his hand early in training camp and ultimately reverted to IR before being waived with an injury settlement. However, the Missouri State product then rejoined San Francisco as a member of the practice squad in early October and remained there throughout the rest of the campaign. Owens will stick around in the organization during the offseason and will have a chance to compete for a roster spot during training camp next summer.

Seahawks' Cornell Powell: Staying in Seattle
The Seahawks signed Powell to a reserve/future contract Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Powell ended the season on the Seahawks' practice squad after being cut by the Chiefs on Oct. 22. He last saw NFL regular-season action in 2022 with Kansas City, during which he played 31 snaps (three on offense, 28 on special teams) across three games but didn't show up on the box score otherwise.

Falcons' Jesse Matthews: Inks deal with Atlanta
The Falcons signed Matthews to a reserve/future contract Monday, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
The San Diego State product spent the year on Atlanta's practice squad and has never appeared in an NFL game after going undrafted in 2023. Matthews will have the opportunity to be a part of the Falcons' offseason activities and attempt to earn a spot on their active roster next season.

Bears' Samori Toure: Set for another opportunity
Toure signed a reserve/future contract with the Bears on Monday, Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com reports.
Toure joined Chicago's practice squad after failing to make the Packers' 53-man roster out of training camp. The 2022 seventh-round selection never saw an opportunity on the Bears' active roster this past season but has appeared in 22 games previously for Green Bay, making 13 catches on 28 targets for 160 yards and a touchdown.

Falcons' Dylan Drummond: Staying in Atlanta
Drummond signed a reserve/future contract with the Falcons on Monday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
Drummond spent his 2024 campaign with the Falcons' practice squad after failing to make the active roster in late August. He was elevated to the active roster ahead of Atlanta's Week 16 win over the Giants but was a healthy scratch on game day. Expect Drummond to compete for a depth spot in the Falcons' wide-receiver corps this offseason.

Falcons' Phillip Dorsett: Signs with Atlanta
Dorsett signed a reserve/future contract with the Falcons on Monday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
The 2015 first-round pick from Miami signed with the Falcons' practice squad in late October after failing to catch on with the Broncos, and he's expected to remain in Atlanta following Monday's contract agreement. Dorsett most recently appeared in an NFL game in 2023 with the Broncos, failing to catch any of his three targets over two contests.

The Jets signed Winston to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Winston signed with the Jets' practice squad in late November after failing to make the Seahawks' 53-man roster before the season. The Washington State product has appeared in just two games since going undrafted in 2020, catching his only target for five yards.

Jackson signed with Chicago as an undrafted free agent out of USC in May and ended up spending the majority of the season on their practice squad. He'll now have the opportunity to be a part of the Bears' offseason programs and earn a spot on their squad for the 2025 campaign.

Smith signed a reserve/future contract with the Jets on Monday.
Smith spent the majority of his season with the Jets' practice squad after failing to make the team's 53-man roster in August. The Iowa product was elevated to the active roster for the Jets' Week 15 win over the Jaguars, though he played no snaps. Expect Smith to have the opportunity to compete for a depth spot in the Jets' wide-receiver corps this offseason.
