Penny Hart WR | ATL
Seahawks' Penny Hart: Snares one pass
Hart caught his lone target for 16 yards in Sunday's 33-13 win over the Texans.
Hart finished fifth among Seahawks wide receivers with just nine offensive snaps. The 5-foot-8 speedster likely won't see an increase in playing time as long as Freddie Swain and Dee Eskridge are healthy. Hart has six receptions for 53 yards through 13 games.
-
D'Wayne Eskridge WR | MIA
Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Usage rising
Eskridge failed to catch his lone target in Sunday's 33-13 win over the Texans.
Eskridge recorded a season-high 49 percent snap share Sunday, out-snapping Freddie Swain (44 percent) for the first time this year. Unfortunately, the rookie couldn't capitalize on the opportunity. His usage is encouraging, especially in dynasty formats, but he has a long way to go before fantasy managers can rely on him on a weekly basis. Eskridge has recorded seven receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown through six games.
-
Phillip Dorsett WR | LV
Texans' Phillip Dorsett: Heavy-ish workload Week 14
Dorsett caught one of three targets for nine yards and had one carry for no gain in Sunday's 33-13 loss to Seattle.
Dorsett, who joined the Texans' organization 10 days ago, was put to immediate use after Davion Davis left the game with an ankle injury. He played 39 snaps (48 percent share), which is significant for a newcomer. Dorsett has very little experience in the offense or familiarity with rookie quarterback Davis Mills, but that could develop over the final weeks of the season if Davis is unavailable.
-
Chris Conley WR | SF
Texans' Chris Conley: Catches two passes in loss
Conley caught both of his targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 33-13 loss to the Seahawks.
Conley finished third among wide receivers in playing time (46 snaps) but was held under 40 receiving yards for the 12th time in 13 games. Outside of a big week against New England in Week 5, Conley has done little to help fantasy teams. Beyond Brandin Cooks and rookie Nico Collins, there's little to inspire fantasy managers evaluating Houston's wideouts.
-
Chris Moore WR | BAL
Texans' Chris Moore: Inactive Week 14
Moore was a healthy inactive for Week 14 against Seattle.
Danny Amendola's knee injury seemingly created an opportunity for Moore, but head coach David Culley is looking elsewhere for slot receivers. Davion Davis was the first to play in the slot, but he left after one catch and one play with an ankle injury. After that, it was a combination of Phillip Dorsett and Chris Conley. Moore's status could change for Week 15 at Jacksonville, pending Davis' health.
-
Nico Collins WR | HOU
Texans' Nico Collins: Double-digit targets in loss
Collins caught five of 10 targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 33-13 loss to Seattle.
Collins enjoyed season highs in catches, targets and yards in the Week 14 loss. What's significant for the rookie wideout is that the Texans turned over the controls of the offense to rookie quarterback Davis Mills. Houston is in full-on evaluation mode, which includes establishing a potential 2022 collaboration of Mills and Collins -- the duo combined for the team's longest play, a 30-yard deep ball that set up a touchdown on the Texans' first drive of the game. Only Brandin Cooks had more targets (11) than Collins, who had seven more than Phillip Dorsett and eight more than Chris Conley.
-
Allen Robinson WR | DET
Bears' Allen Robinson: Tough season continues
Robinson caught two passes on six targets for 14 yards in the Bears' 45-30 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Although he was second on the team in targets, Robinson recorded fewer than 36 yards for the seventh time in the 10 games he's played in 2021. With just one touchdown on the year along with an average of 35 yards per game, he'll be difficult to trust in lineups during the fantasy playoffs.
-
Darnell Mooney WR | NYG
Bears' Darnell Mooney: Disappointing performance
Mooney caught one pass on five targets for 19 yards in the Bears' 45-30 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Aside from a pair of improbable receptions by Damiere Byrd and Jakeem Grant, the Bears' passing attack struggled to find consistent success, and Mooney was unable to do much against a Green Bay secondary that rarely gave him room to operate. Although he was targeted five times, his target total fell behind David Montgomery and Allen Robinson. Over the last two games, Mooney's posted his worst performances since Week 3, but his talent and role in the offense should lead to a rebound in the fantasy playoffs.
-
Bryan Edwards WR | NO
Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Two catches in blowout loss
Edwards caught two of three targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 48-9 loss to the Chiefs.
Edwards was overshadowed once again by fellow receiver Hunter Renfrow, who racked up a career-high 13 receptions for 117 yards and a score as quarterback Derek Carr attempted 45 passes in the blowout defeat. Zay Jones picked up seven targets of his own, while tight end Foster Moreau and running back Josh Jacobs remained active in the Raiders' aerial attack as well. Edwards played less than 70 percent of the team's offensive snaps for a second straight week, and he's caught just nine total passes in six games since the Raiders' Week 8 bye.
-
Damiere Byrd WR | BUF
Bears' Damiere Byrd: Breaks off long TD on SNF
Byrd caught both of his targets for 76 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 45-30 loss to Green Bay.
Allen Robinson (hamstring) returned to the lineup Sunday, but he wasn't a major factor in the passing game (two receptions for 14 yards). Byrd still experienced a steep drop-off from the 6.0 targets he averaged over the last two games he filled in for the injured A-Rob, but he was able to mask the low usage with a big 58-yard catch and run for a touchdown. With Robinson back, Marquise Goodwin (foot) potentially returning soon and Jakeem Grant playing so well, it wouldn't be surprising to see Byrd slowly phased out of the gameplan even after posting this strong fantasy line. If Goodwin can't return in Week 15, then Byrd may carry some deep-league/DFS value against a weak Vikings defense next Monday.
