  • Allen Lazard WR | NYJ

Packers' Allen Lazard: Uncertain for Week 8

Lazard (shoulder) won't practice Wednesday, with head coach Matt LaFleur noting that he's unsure if the wideout will miss any games, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Lazard played a couple more snaps after hurting his shoulder in Sunday's loss to Washington, but he ultimately came out of the game and was then spotted in a sling Monday. The Packers' receiver group has already been less than stellar this season, sparking rumors that an upgrade could be coming via trade. The healthy options behind Lazard are slumping rookie starter Romeo Doubs, Sammy Watkins, Samori Toure and Amari Rodgers, while Christian Watson is nursing a hamstring injury and Randall Cobb is on injured reserve with an ankle sprain.

  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Lions' Josh Reynolds: Still bothered by knee

Reynolds (knee) isn't practicing Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Reynolds played through an ankle injury Weeks 4 and 5 and topped 80 yards in both games, but after a Week 6 bye, he was affected by a knee issue and managed only two targets and eight yards in a loss to Dallas this past Sunday. The 27-year-old played 80 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 7 loss, and he'll have a better matchup this Sunday at home against the Dolphins. With DJ Chark (ankle) on injured reserve, Amon-Ra St. Brown in the concussion protocol and Jameson Williams (knee) reportedly out at least another month, Reynolds should see plenty of snaps for as long as he can avoid setbacks with the lingering ankle injury.

  • Jahan Dotson WR | ATL

Commanders' Jahan Dotson: Not able to practice

Dotson (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Dotson has missed three games in a row and reportedly suffered a setback after returning to practice last week as a limited participant. He's in danger of sitting out a fourth straight game when the Commanders face the Colts on Sunday.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Role should grow

Coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday that Wilson "will continue to become more featured in our offense," David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Wilson hasn't been targeted in back-to-back contests, though McDaniel said that's partially due to the rib injury he dealt with early in the season. McDaniel also said Wilson's lack of involvement is more about the fact that Trent Sherfield has been more effective with his opportunities, per Furones. Sherfield currently has a grip on the No. 3 receiver role, but if Wilson can truly progress in Miami's scheme, he could get more involved and move up the depth chart as the season continues.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Giants' Kadarius Toney: Another missed practice

Toney (hamstring) isn't practicing Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Toney hasn't suited up for the Giants since Week 2 due to injuries to both of his hamstrings. Veteran Kenny Golladay (knee) is also sitting out practice Wednesday, so New York could once again have to proceed with Wan'Dale Robinson (undisclosed), Darius Slayton, David Sills and Richie James as its main options at receiver this weekend in Seattle.

  • Lions' Jameson Williams: Season debut not imminent

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Wednesday that Williams (knee) is at least a month away from playing, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Williams remains on the the reserve/NFI list, where he began the season while he continues to recover from the ACL tear he suffered in January while playing for Alabama during the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. The rookie first-round pick still hasn't resumed practicing, and Campbell's latest update suggests that the earliest Williams will make his NFL debut is likely late November or early December. The Lions could also have DJ Chark (ankle) back from injured reserve by the time Williams is ready to contribute.

  • Broncos' Tyrie Cleveland: Misses practice Wednesday

Cleveland (groin) was unavailable for Wednesday's practice, Aric DiLalla of the Bronco's official website reports.

Cleveland picked up a groin injury at some point this last week and was unable to go for practice Wednesday. He can be considered questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Jaguars, and if he is unavailable for the contest, Jalen Virgil could garner a few more snaps.

  • Russell Gage WR | SF

Buccaneers' Russell Gage: Out versus Ravens

Head coach Todd Bowles said that Gage (hamstring) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Ravens, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Gage won't be available Week 8 after injuring his hamstring in last Sunday's loss to the Panthers, while Julio Jones (knee) is expected to be a game-time decision. The wideout has drawn at least four targets in six straight games, and he will work to get healthy in time to face the Rams in Week 9.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Sitting out first Week 8 practice

Collins (groin) isn't participating in Wednesday's practice, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

According to Wilson, the Texans are viewing Collins as day-to-day ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans after he exited the team's Week 7 loss to the Raiders with the groin injury. If Collins is unable to overcome the groin issue in time for Sunday, Phillip Dorsett would likely pick up more reps alongside Brandin Cooks and Chris Moore in three-receiver sets.

  • Laquon Treadwell: Parting ways with the Cardinals

The Cardinals cut Treadwell from their practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Treadwell was cut from Arizona's practice squad Tuesday after he had already spent time with both the Jaguars' and Patriots' practice units so far this season. The 6-foot-2 receiver will now search elsewhere for another opportunity to join an active roster in the 2022 campaign.
