  • Elijah Moore WR | PHI

Browns' Elijah Moore: Returns to individual drills

Moore (ribs) will participate in individual drills at Tuesday's practice, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Moore was forced out of last weekend's preseason game early after taking a shot to the ribs, but the Browns said afterward that he was merely day-to-day. Moore's return to practice confirms he avoided anything serious, and his Week 1 availability isn't in doubt. He's expected to line up all over the formation for Cleveland this season.

  • Justyn Ross WR | KC

Chiefs' Justyn Ross: Injury may not be serious

Ross (leg) departed Tuesday's practice early but is believed to have avoided a serious injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Ross may not have to miss much time due to a leg issue that required him to leave Tuesday's session on a cart, but it could well impact his status for Saturday's preseason game against Arizona. Every rep is key for Ross, who is competing to make the regular-season roster after having lost his rookie campaign due to a foot injury. His chances of earning a role in Kansas City's receiving corps will be aided the earlier he's able to get back on the field.

  • Justyn Ross WR | KC

Chiefs' Justyn Ross: Departs with injury

Ross (undisclosed) left Tuesday's practice early on a cart, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.

Ross has logged a strong training camp as he pushes for a roster spot, but even a minor issue could derail his momentum. The former Clemson star missed his rookie season due to a foot injury, but there are opportunities available in Kansas City's wide receiver corps heading into the 2023 regular season, if Ross can stay healthy enough to claim them.

  • Chiefs' Nikko Remigio: Injured during practice

Remigio appeared to suffer a wrist injury during practice Tuesday, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.

Remigio left the field holding his left wrist while he was carted off. The Fresno State product is working to make the team after going undrafted in 2023 and was impressive during the team's preseason game Sunday against the Saints, according to Taylor. He'll now focus on getting healthy, so he can continue trying to break camp on the 53-man roster.

  • Tee Higgins WR | CIN

Bengals' Tee Higgins: Sitting out some drills

Higgins has sat out some of the Bengals' full-team drills during this training camp as a precaution Sports Illustrated's James Rapien reports.

The Bengals and Higgins are still hoping to come to terms on a long-term deal before the season begins, which might explain why he and the Bengals are taking extra precautions this summer. It's possible that he sits out of all three preseason games.

  • Seahawks' Cody Thompson: Battling groin injury

Thompson didn't play in Friday's preseason win over the Vikings due to a groin injury, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

As of Sunday, Thompson has yet to return to the practice field, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. Thompson has been a camp standout and has shown great chemistry with backup quarterback Drew Lock thus far. While he has been impressive, Thompson isn't a roster lock. After all, the 27-year-old has just five career games and no catches under his belt.

  • Jake Bobo WR | SEA

Seahawks' Jake Bobo: Stands out in preseason

Bobo caught all three of his targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 24-13 preseason win over the Vikings.

DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and depth wideout Dareke Young (hip) didn't suit up for the preseason game, and Dee Eskridge (knee) and Cade Johnson (concussion) both exited with injuries. In turn, Bobo handled more reps than was previously expected. The 23-year-old capitalized on the opportunity by pacing the Seahawks in receiving yards. Bobo spent four years at Duke before transferring to UCLA for his final season, when he caught 57 passes for a team-high 817 yards and seven touchdowns. His production was quite impressive even for a fifth-year player, but his 4.99 40-yard dash at 6-foot-4, 207 pounds is concerning. As long as he keeps making noise in the preseason, however, he'll have a shot at one of the final roster spots this season.

  • A.T. Perry WR | PIT

Saints' A.T. Perry: Leading receiver in preseason debut

Perry caught all six of his targets for 70 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 26-24 preseason win versus the Chiefs.

Perry wound up playing the second-most offensive snaps of any Saints wideouts, as veteran receivers Rashid Shaheed (groin) and Tre'Quan Smith (groin) were both sidelined by injuries. The 6-foot-3 rookie immediately established a connection with backup quarterback Jameis Winston, catching a 14-yard pass to begin the Saints' second offensive series. He followed this with a 29-yard touchdown reception on a deep crosser route three plays later. Starting quarterback Derek Carr also said that Perry was a "featured" piece of the team's game plan even though the rookie sixth round-pick got off to a rough start in training camp, according to Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com. Perry finished as New Orleans' leading receiver during his preseason debut, and this strong performance should go a long way toward his chances to make New Orleans' final 53-man roster.

  • Patriots' Demario Douglas: Making case for roster spot

In his latest projection, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site suggests that Douglas is a good bet to make the team's Initial 53-man roster.

Per Lazar, Douglas, whom the Patriots list at 5-foot-8, 192 pounds, displays quickness and burst as a route runner that the team's other receivers do not. As things stand, the 2023 sixth-rounder is competing with Kayshon Boutte, Tre Nixon and Thyrick Pitts for what could be the team's final WR spot behind JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton. If the Liberty product does make the team, Douglas would figure to begin his pro career off the fantasy radar, but if injuries hit down the road he could eventually emerge as a sleeper in deeper formats.

  • Patriots' Kendrick Bourne: Hits stride in training camp

Bourne has had some impressive practices in the last week, according to Mike Dussault of the Patriots' official site reports.

Dussault notes that Bourne, who turned in strong practices Sunday and Monday, is finding his stride in coordinator Bill O'Brien offense. As the coming season approaches, the 28-year-old Bourne -- who logged a 35-434-1 receiving line in 16 games last year -- appears poised to claim a steady role in a Patriots WR corp that also includes newcomer JuJu Smith-Schuster, as well as returnees DeVante Parker and Tyquan Thornton. However, in an offense that could lean heavily on RBs Rhamondre Stevenson and Ezekiel Elliott, consistent targets may not be the norm for Bourne, as long as his fellow key pass catchers remain healthy.
