  • Dontay Demus: Waived by Ravens

The Ravens waived Demus on Monday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Demus was vying for a depth receiver role with Baltimore, but he was competing against a plethora of players and ultimately came up short. The undrafted free agent played five years at Maryland and was attempting to stay close to home in Baltimore. It remains to be seen if he will get the chance to join their practice squad or if he will have to venture elsewhere.

  • Alex Erickson WR | HOU

    Alex Erickson: Cut by Jets

Erickson was released by the Jets on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Erickson had an impressive preseason in New York, which included two touchdown receptions in the exhibition finale. Still, it was not enough to make it through final cuts and onto the 53-man roster. The veteran pass catcher figures to have suitors elsewhere if he does not end up on the Jets' practice squad.

  • Keke Coutee WR | MIA

    Keke Coutee: Becomes available again

Coutee was released by the Dolphins on Monday.

Coutee joined Miami on Aug. 13 after being released from the Saints just a couple of days before. However, the 26-year-old was unable to stick there either and will now have to search out another opportunity.

  • Braxton Burmeister: Does not make cut

Burmeister was waived by the Rams on Monday.

Burmeister was attempting to make the team as a wide receiver after converting from quarterback. He spent time with Oregon, Virginia Tech and San Diego State during his five-year college career and played under center at each stop. The 6-foot-1 athlete projects as a slot wideout in the NFL, but he will now need to look for a new team to work with unless the Rams offer him a role on their practice squad.

  • Tyler Hudson WR | LAR

    Tyler Hudson: Dropped by Rams

Hudson was waived by the Rams on Monday.

Hudson was on the bottom of the depth chart in a crowded receiver room, rendering this move relatively unsurprising. It remains to be seen if the undrafted free agent will get the opportunity to join Los Angeles' practice squad or if he will need to look for a new team. He recorded 1,034 yards and two touchdowns on 69 receptions during his final collegiate campaign at Louisville in 2022.

  • Lance McCutcheon: Cut by Rams

The Rams waived McCutcheon on Monday.

McCutcheon suited up for 10 games with the Rams during his rookie campaign in 2022. He accumulated five targets during his time on the field but failed to secure any receptions. The 24-year-old is now in line to look for a fresh start somewhere else unless if Los Angeles offers him a spot on its practice squad.

  • Kyle Philips WR | LV

Titans' Kyle Philips: No timetable for return

Philips, who injured his MCL during the Titans' second preseason game on Aug. 19, continues to miss practice, Nick Suss of the Tennessean reports.

The report notes that Philips was sporting a knee brace in the locker room Monday. He also doesn't have a timeline for his return and is taking things "day-by-day" until he's ready to get back on the field. At this stage, Philips' Week 1 status is cloudy, but it's possible there will be added context on that front after the Titans announce their moves in conjunction with Tuesday's deadline to set their initial 53-man roster. While Philips remains sidelined for now, fellow WR Treylon Burks (knee) was able to return to practice Monday. If one or both are out or limited come Week 1, Chris Moore and/or Nick Westbrook-Ikhine would be candidates to see added reps alongside top pass-catching option DeAndre Hopkins.

  • Dylan Drummond WR | ATL

Dylan Drummond: Does not make roster

Drummond was waived by the Lions on Monday, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Drummond was one of the bright spots during Detroit's training camp. However, he came up just short after making an unlikely run at the 53-man roster. The pass catcher started as a tryout player, which meant he faced extraordinarily long odds at making the team, but he nearly accomplished the feat. He is now a very strong candidate to land on the Lions' practice squad.

  • Chris Coleman WR | MIA

    Chris Coleman: Gets cut loose

Coleman was waived by the Dolphins on Monday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Coleman joined the team as an undrafted free agent out of Cal Poly in May. Although he won't make the 53-man roster, Jackson notes that the team has an interest in adding him to the practice squad.

  • Nsimba Webster WR | CHI

Nsimba Webster: Expected to be cut

The Bears are expected to waive Webster on Monday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Webster has bounced back and forth between the Bears' practice squad and active roster several times over the previous two years. He is considered a strong candidate to again land on the team's practice squad. The 27-year-old has occasionally returned punts during his two-year stint with the Bears and has also accumulated two receptions for 14 yards.
