Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Not going on IR
Jeudy (hamstring) is not being placed on injured reserve to start the season, James Palmer of NFL Network reports.
Teams can soon place players on injured reserve and later be allowed to bring them back to the active roster after a minimum of four missed weeks. The Broncos aren't sure about Jeudy's Week 1 availability but at least have some hope he'll be ready early in the season after injuring his hamstring Aug. 24. They can always change course and put Jeudy on IR later on if he suffers a setback.

Kendric Pryor WR | CIN
Kendric Pryor: Let go by Jacksonville
The Jaguars waived Pryor on Tuesday, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
Pryor signed with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent last year but was let go ahead of roster cutdowns and claimed by the Jaguars. The Wisconsin product was left inactive to start the season before picking up a shoulder injury in mid-January and ultimately never saw the field as a rookie. Pryor will likely have to settle for a practice-squad deal if he clears waivers.

Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN
Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Expects to play Week 1
Waddle (abdomen) said Tuesday he's "feeling good" and expects to suit up Week 1 versus the Chargers, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Waddle has never truly seemed in danger of missing the regular-season opener, but it's encouraging to hear him confirm as much. The third-year wideout was limited at practice Tuesday, roughly three weeks after his initial abdominal injury. Barring any setbacks, Waddle is on track to suit up as one of Tua Tagovailoa's undisputed top two targets, alongside Tyreek Hill, in what could be a high-scoring affair in Los Angeles.

DJ Chark WR | ATL
Panthers' DJ Chark: Aiming to play Week 1
Chark (hamstring) said Tuesday that his goal is to be ready for Week 1 at Atlanta, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
The wideout said he and the team's medical staff are on the same page about Week 1 being a realistic goal. Chark hasn't practiced with teammates since mid-August, but he did show progress Tuesday by doing individual work on a field indoors. The first official injury report for Week 1 will be released next Wednesday, at which point Chark may be back to practicing for real.

Easop Winston WR | NYJ
Easop Winston: Cut by Seattle
The Seahawks are slated to waive Winston (groin) on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Winston dealt with a groin injury earlier in the preseason, but it appears he's now healthy. If he clears waivers, Winston could be a candidate to end up back with Seattle as a member of the practice squad. He suited up for three games with the Saints in 2021 and performed adequately as a punt returner in those contests.

Laviska Shenault Jr. WR | BUF
Panthers' Laviska Shenault: Returns to field
Shenault is donning the red, no-contact jersey during practice Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Shenault is currently working his way through the league's concussion protocols and seems to be making solid progress in doing so with his return to the practice field. The fourth-year pro is expected to keep his spot on the roster and earn a depth role in the team's receiving corps.

Matt Landers WR | TEN
Matt Landers: Won't make team
Landers was waived by the Seahawks on Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Landers joined Seattle as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas. He dealt with a quadriceps injury during camp, which could have slowed his chances, but he was likely always facing an uphill battle to make the squad.

Terrace Marshall Jr. WR | MIA
Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Practices in limited fashion
Marshall (back) returned to practice Tuesday as a limited participant, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Coach Frank Reich said Marshall didn't participate fully but that his reps were "enough... a good first step," per Augusta Stone of the Panthers' official site. DJ Chark (hamstring) did rehab work Tuesday, while Laviska Shenault (concussion) was able to take the field in a red non-contact jersey. If Marshall manages to return for Week 1's match against the Falcons but Chark remains sidelined, he could start the season as one of Carolina's top three wideouts.

Jalen Guyton WR | LV
Chargers' Jalen Guyton: Starting year on PUP list
The Chargers placed Guyton (knee) on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday.
Guyton won't be eligible to return until after the first four games of the regular season have concluded, though his shift to the reserve/PUP list was expected. The Chargers have little incentive to rush Guyton's recovery along, as the team can rely on all of Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Joshua Palmer and first-round pick Quentin Johnston to headline Justin Herbert's WR corps.

DJ Chark WR | ATL
Panthers' DJ Chark: Limited to rehab work
Chark (hamstring) did some work inside during Tuesday's practice, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
It's a sign of progress but not the same as actually practicing with his teammates. Chark missed the last two weeks of the preseason after working with the starters in the opener, and if his absence continues into the regular season it could free up a top-three role for Terrace Marshall (back) for Week 1 at Atlanta.
