  • Reggie Roberson: Misses cut

Roberson was waived by the Titans on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official website reports.

Roberson bounced between the practice squad of the Titans and Bears during his rookie campaign in 2022. He was hoping to earn a depth receiving role with the club in the upcoming season but ultimately came up short. Now, he will wait and see if he gets another practice squad opportunity or have to look for a new landing spot.

  • Tarik Black WR | DET

Tarik Black: Parts ways with Ravens

    Baltimore waived Black on Tuesday.

Black signed with the Ravens in April and was always a long shot to make the squad. He finished exhibition play with one catch on three targets for five yards. Black has played in just one NFL game, hauling in one of two targets for 10 yards in 2021 with the Jets.

  • Jordan Byrd WR | PIT

    Jordan Byrd: Waived by Pittsburgh

The Steelers waived Byrd on Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Byrd signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent in late April but was unable to carve out a spot on the 53-man roster. He'll now seek out other opportunities ahead of the 2023 campaign.

  • Mason Kinsey WR | TEN

    Mason Kinsey: Cut by Titans

Kinsey was waived by the Titans on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official website reports.

Kinsey has primarily spent the first two years of his career on the Titans' practice squad, but he has suited up for three games during that time. Overall, he has one reception for three yards. It looks like he is trending for a similar role in 2023, but it remains to be seen if the team will offer him a practice squad spot again.

  • Adam Humphries WR | HOU

    Adam Humphries: Doesn't make cut

The Texans released Humphries on Tuesday.

Humphries signed with Houston on Aug. 13 after failing to latch on with an NFL squad last season. The veteran logged two catches on three targets for 18 yards in his lone preseason contest with the Texans. Humphries has plenty of NFL experience and could end up on Houston's practice squad as valuable pass catching depth.

  • Penny Hart WR | ATL

Falcons' Penny Hart: Headed to IR

The Falcons placed Hart (concussion) on injured reserve Tuesday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.

Hart sustained a concussion during the Falcons' 13-13 preseason tie versus Cincinnati, and he was moved to injured reserve prior to making Atlanta's final 53-man roster Tuesday. Therefore, barring any injury settlement with the team, he will now be forced to remain on this list for the entire 2023 campaign. The 5-foot-8 wideout totaled 11 receptions for 82 yards over the first three seasons of his career in Seattle, so he was likely a longshot to survive the team's final roster cuts from the get-go.

  • Michael Bandy WR | DEN

Michael Bandy: Waived ahead of deadline

The Broncos waived Bandy on Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Bandy joined the Broncos in late July after spending the last two seasons with the Chargers. However, he was unable to make enough of an impact in Denver to earn a 53-man roster spot. It's possible he lands on a practice squad ahead of the 2023 campaign.

  • Juwann Winfree WR | HOU

Colts' Juwann Winfree: Let go by Indianapolis

The Colts released Winfree on Tuesday, JJ Stankevitz of the team's official site reports.

Winfree signed with the Colts in May after playing sparingly for the Packers the last three years. He registered five catches for 36 yards and a touchdown in two preseason games and will explore his options once he clears waivers.

  • Marquez Callaway: Waived by Denver

The Broncos waived Callaway on Tuesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Callaway signed with Denver in March after three seasons with the Saints and was competing for a depth role at wide receiver throughout training camp. He caught just one of four targets for seven yards during exhibition play and was unable to land a spot on the 53-man roster. Callaway could still end up with the Broncos as a member of their practice squad.

  • Simi Fehoko WR | ARI

Simi Fehoko: Parts ways with Dallas

The Cowboys waived Fehoko on Tuesday.

Fehoko missed the end of the 2022 campaign due to a shoulder injury but returned to full health during the offseason. He got some run with the first-team offense during OTAs but was unable to secure a spot on the 53-man roster. However, it's possible he at least earns a spot on a practice squad in 2023.
