  • Dontario Drummond: Let go by Dallas

The Cowboys waived Drummond on Tuesday.

Drummond spent his rookie season in 2022 on the Cowboys' practice squad, and he missed out on a spot on the team's 53-man roster for a second consecutive season. However, it's possible he winds up on a practice squad in 2023.

  • Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Let loose by Broncos

Denver released Humphrey on Tuesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Humphrey signed with the Broncos in early March after bouncing between New England's practice squad and active roster last season. The wideout led Denver with eight catches, 12 targets and 113 receiving yards during exhibition play, but that wasn't enough to earn him a spot on the active roster. Given his strong training camp, it wouldn't be surprising if Humphrey ends up on Denver's practice squad.

  • Raleigh Webb WR | TB

Raleigh Webb: Let go by New England

The Patriots waived Webb on Tuesday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.

Webb played in 12 games last season -- two in Baltimore and 10 in New England -- where all but one of his 168 snaps came on special teams. He caught one pass for six yards in two preseason games and will explore his options once he clears waivers.

  • Jose Barbon WR | DAL

    Jose Barbon: Waived by Dallas

The Cowboys waived Barbon on Tuesday.

Barbon joined Dallas as an undrafted free agent in May but was unable to secure a spot on the team's 53-man roster. The Temple product will now seek out other opportunities ahead of the 2023 campaign.

  • Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Returns to practice Tuesday

Smith-Njigba (wrist) took part in Tuesday's practice, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

The 2023 first-round pick ran routes and caught passes in individual drills, albeit with a heavy wrap on his surgically repaired left wrist following last Thursday's procedure to address a slight fracture. As Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Monday, Smith-Njigba will avoid injured reserve to begin the season, but his status for a Week 1 divisional matchup with the Rams remains up in the air.

  • David Moore WR | CAR

David Moore: Cut by Tampa Bay

The Buccaneers released Moore on Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Moore put together a respectable 8-123-0 line on 12 targets in three preseason games, but the six-year veteran lost out on a depth wide receiver spot to 2023 sixth-round pick Trey Palmer, Deven Thompkins and rookie UDFA Rakim Jarrett. Moore's last impactful season came in 2020 with the Seahawks when he registered 35 catches for 417 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games. He'll look to catch on elsewhere once he clears waivers.

  • Cade Johnson WR | SEA

    Cade Johnson: Cut by Seattle

The Seahawks waived Johnson on Tuesday, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Johnson sustained a concussion early in the preseason but returned to the field for the team's exhibition finale. He was unable to land a spot on the team's 53-man roster and will now seek out other opportunities.

  • Ryan Miller WR | NYG

Ryan Miller: Let go by Tampa Bay

The Buccaneers waived Miller on Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Miller joined the Bucs in April as an undrafted free agent out of Furman. He registered three catches for 35 yards in three preseason games and will explore his options once he clears waivers.

  • John Hall WR | SEA

John Hall: Parts ways with Seattle

The Seahawks waived Hall on Tuesday, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Hall joined Seattle as an undrafted free agent in May but was unable to make the team's 53-man roster. He'll now seek out other opportunities ahead of the 2023 season.

  • Cephus Johnson: Let go by Tampa Bay

The Buccaneers waived Johnson on Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Johnson joined the Bucs on Aug. 12 after being cut by the Vikings five days prior. The undrafted free agent out of Southern Louisiana was a quarterback in college and was attempting to transition to wide receiver during the offseason and training camp. He'll have to continue that work elsewhere once he clears waivers.
