Tay Martin WR | DET
Tay Martin: Inks practice-squad deal
The 49ers signed Martin to their practice squad Wednesday.
A 2022 UDFA, Martin spent most of his rookie season on the 49ers' practice squad and is in line for a similar role in 2023. The Oklahoma State product was elevated twice last year, but he played exclusively on special teams.

Tre'Shaun Harrison WR | TEN
Tre'Shaun Harrison: Staying in Tennessee
Harrison signed with the Titans' practice squad Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Harrison will stay in Tennessee after he was waived Tuesday. The wide receiver was brought in as an undrafted free agent in May following a five-year collegiate career with Florida State and Oregon State, and he will operate as a depth option for the Titans heading into the 2023 campaign.

Dez Fitzpatrick WR | LAC
Dez Fitzpatrick: Back with Pittsburgh
The Steelers signed Fitzpatrick to their practice squad Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
A 2021 fourth-round pick by the Titans, Fitzpatrick appeared in four games as a rookie but was relegated to Tennessee's practice squad in Year 2. The wideout totaled 154 receptions for 2,589 yards and 21 touchdowns in college, and he's secured just five of eight targets for 49 yards and a score across five NFL regular-season games.

T.J. Luther WR | CAR
T.J. Luther: Stays on east coast
Luther signed with the Patriots' practice squad Friday.
The 23-year-old replaced wideout Thyrick Pitts on the team's practice squad after New England waived him Friday. Luther spent time with the Jets this offseason after going undrafted out of Gardner-Webb, recording 1,007 receiving yards and eight touchdowns during his final year at the collegiate level.

Josh Palmer WR | BUF
Chargers' Joshua Palmer: Should maintain role behind top duo
As the coming season approaches, Daniel Popperof the Athletic predicts that Palmer will log a majority of the Chargers' No. 3 wide receiver snaps out of the gate.
During the 2022 campaign, Palmer recorded 72 catches (on 107 targets) for 769 yards and three TDs in 16 games, with part of his statistical productivity attributable to top WRs Keenan Allen and Mike Williams each missing a chunk of time due to injuries. Given the team's top duo is back and healthy and 2023 first-rounder Quentin Johnston has been added to the mix, it appeared likely Palmer was trending toward a decreased role. However, for the moment, it at least it appears as though he has yet to be overtaken by the promising rookie. That's something that could well happen once Johnston gains more pro experience, but early on, Palmer could see enough volume in the Chargers offense to merit deep league consideration.

Raleigh Webb WR | TB
Raleigh Webb: Moving to Miami
Webb joined the Dolphins' practice squad Thursday.
The wideout was waived by New England just two days prior to signing with Miami. Webb appeared in 12 total games for the Ravens and Patriots last season after going undrafted out of The Citadel, playing primarily on special teams.

DeVante Parker WR | PHI
Patriots' DeVante Parker: Misses practice
Parker (undisclosed) missed practice Thursday, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
The report notes that Parker also missed Wednesday's session, but added that the wideout is believed to be "fine," per a league source. Assuming Parker's unspecified issue doesn't linger, the 2015 first-rounder is poised to serve as a key passing target for the Patriots this coming season while working alongside fellow WRs JuJu Smith-Schuster and Kendrick Bourne. During the 2022 campaign, his first with New England, Parker hauled in 31 of his 47 targets for 539 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games. Those are numbers he has the ability to improve on in 2023 if he can continue to build chemistry with QB Mac Jones while also avoiding missing extended time due to injuries.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine WR | IND
Titans' Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Looking at increased opportunities
Westbrook-Ikhine has a chance for increased opportunities to begin the regular season with Kyle Phillips (knee) on IR, Nick Suss of the Nashville Tennessean reports.
Westbrook-Ikhine will need to miss the first four games of the regular season and Treylon Burks, who did return to practice Thursday, could still potentially be limited by the time Week 1's opener against the Saints rolls around. At worst, Phillips' absence opens the door for Westbrook-Ikhine to start the year as Tennessee's No. 3 wideout, with further upside if Burks doesn't start at 100 percent. Chris Moore could also be in the mix for increased depth opportunities behind top wideout DeAndre Hopkins.
-
Chris Moore WR | WAS
Titans' Chris Moore: Sticks with 53-man roster
Moore is one of six wide receivers to make The Titans' initial 53-man roster, Nick Suss of the Nashville Tennessean reports.
Moore looks to be in line for increased offensive opportunities Week 1 versus the Saints, with Kyle Philips (knee) on injured reserve to start the season. Treylon Burks returned to practice Thursday, but it's possible his knee injury could still limit him by the time the regular-season opener kicks off. In that event, Moore and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine would be in the mix as streaming fantasy options behind DeAndre Hopkins.

Deonte Harty WR | BAL
Bills' Deonte Harty: Locks down roster spot
Harty has secured a spot on Buffalo's initial 53-man roster.
Harty will start the season as Buffalo's top option in the return game while also handling a depth role on offense. He could see increased opportunities early in the season until Justin Shorter (hamstring) returns from IR, leaving him a chance to compete with Khalil Shakir for No. 3 reps behind Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports that Harty and Shakir should both handle snaps out of the slot when Diggs doesn't line up there.
