Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Not playing Week 1
Jeudy (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Jeudy took a questionable tag into the weekend after a trio of limited practices this week, and though Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post notes that the wideout was able to take part in some on-field work earlier Sunday, he'll ultimately be in street clothes for the season opener. Based on Jeudy's level of activity over the past week, he should have a good chance at making it back in the lineup for the Broncos' Week 2 matchup with the Commanders on Sept. 17. With Jeudy out for the opener, however, Courtland Sutton and rookie Marvin Mims should see most of the looks in the passing game, while tight ends Adam Trautman and Greg Dulcich could also have expanded profiles on offense.

Romeo Doubs WR | NE
Packers' Romeo Doubs: Will be available Sunday
Doubs (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday in Chicago, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Doubs sat out the Packers' preseason finale Aug. 26 due to a hamstring injury, which capped him to two limited sessions during Week 1 prep. While Doubs is healthy enough to suit up for the season opener, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported earlier Sunday that the second-year pro likely won't handle a full allotment of snaps. If that's the case -- and with Christian Watson (hamstring) sidelined -- RB Aaron Jones, WR Jayden Reed and TE Luke Musgrave may serve as QB Jordan Love's top pass catchers. Meanwhile, wide receivers like Malik Heath, Samori Toure and Dontayvion Wicks will be available for more reps.

Gunner Olszewski WR | NYG
Steelers' Gunner Olszewski: Healthy scratch
Olszewski (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against San Francisco, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
The former All-Pro return man lost his role as kick and punt returner last season and was on the verge of not making Pittsburgh's active roster this year. Olszewski's next chance to be active on game day will come in Week 2 against Cleveland.

Mike Evans WR | SF
Buccaneers' Mike Evans: No contract extension
Evans and the Buccaneers did not come to terms on a contract extension before Evans' Saturday deadline, Jay Glazer reported on the Fox Sunday morning pregame show.
Evans is a free agent after the season, just turned 30 and is now playing with Baker Mayfield instead of Tom Brady as his quarterback. If he does indeed hit free agency next offseason, he may encounter a similar scenario to DeAndre Hopkins, where he finds the market for his services isn't quite what he expected it to be.

Justin Jefferson WR | MIN
Vikings' Justin Jefferson: Contract talks tabled
Jefferson and the Vikings had preliminary discussions about a contract extension, but the parties didn't yet come to an agreement and will table those discussions until the offseason, Jay Glazer reported on the Fox Sunday pregame show.
There wasn't too much urgency to the discussions yet for Jefferson, as he still has two years left on his rookie deal. However, that situation figures to take on a different tenor next offseason if there isn't real progress.

Josh Ali WR | ATL
Falcons' Josh Ali: Out for Week 1
Ali (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Ali, along with tight end John FitzPatrick (coach's decision) and running back Cordarrelle Patterson (thigh), are the skill players ruled out for Sunday's season opener. Atlanta will roll out a wide receiver corps of Drake London, Mack Hollins, Scotty Miller and KhaDarel Hodge.

A.T. Perry WR | PIT
Saints' A.T. Perry: Inactive Sunday
Perry (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Tennessee, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
The 2023 sixth-round pick out of Wake Forest did enough to make the Saints' active roster but won't be suiting up Sunday. Perry's next opportunity to see the field will be Week 2 against the Panthers.
-
Parker Washington WR | JAC
Jaguars' Parker Washington: Won't play Sunday
Washington (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Colts.
Parker was recently the subject of trade rumors with the depth Jacksonville has at receiver after getting selected in the sixth round of the 2023 Draft. Although he remains on the team, he'll be sidelined for Week 1. His next chance to suit up will be Week 2 against the Chiefs.
-
Elijah Cooks WR | NO
Jaguars' Elijah Cooks: Won't make debut
Cooks (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Colts.
Cooks was able to make the roster as an undrafted free agent, but he'll stay on the sidelines for Week 1. His next opportunity to suit up will be Week 2 against the Chiefs.
