  • Noah Brown WR | WAS

Texans' Noah Brown: Back at practice Wednesday

Brown (groin) returned to practice Wednesday and has been designated to return from injured reserve.

The Texans will have 21 days to evaluate Brown in practice before either adding him to the 53-man roster or keeping him on IR for the rest of the season. He caught three of four targets for 20 yards in the season opener before spending four weeks on injured reserve, but the wide receiver could be back as soon as Sunday's game against the Saints. If he's activated by Sunday, Brown could be featured in three-receiver sets alongside Nico Collins and Robert Woods, as Tank Dell is in the NFL's concussion protocol and could be trending toward sitting out the Week 6 contest.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Will practice Wednesday

Head coach Dan Campbell said that St. Brown (abdomen) will be on the practice field Wednesday, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.

St. Brown will practice in at least a limited fashion after sitting out all three of the Lions' sessions last week before missing Sunday's win over Carolina. He appears to be trending in the right direction for this Sunday's road matchup against the Buccaneers, as Campbell stated in his Monday press conference. The Lions will reveal their first Week 6 practice report later Wednesday, when it will be known whether St. Brown was a limited or full participant.

  • Zay Jones WR | ARI

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Won't practice Wednesday

Head coach Doug Pederson said that Jones (knee) will sit out Wednesday's practice, J.P. Shadrick of the Jaguars' official site reports.

Pederson added that Jones remains day-to-day, and that imaging results on the receiver's knee didn't reveal a more severe injury. Jones will have two more chances to practice ahead of Sunday's matchup with Indianapolis.

  • Deonte Harty WR | BAL

Bills' Deonte Harty: Two catches in loss

Harty secured both of his targets for 62 yards in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Jaguars.

Harty operated as the Bills' No. 4 receiver Sunday, playing 15 of Buffalo's 60 offensive snaps. The majority of the veteran wideout's production came on a 43-yard reception late in the fourth quarter that helped to spark a scoring drive. With such limited usage on offense, Harty remains difficult to trust for consistent fantasy production unless there's an injury to Stefon Diggs or Gabe Davis. Next up for the Bills is a matchup against the Giants in Week 6.

  • Justyn Ross WR | KC

Chiefs' Justyn Ross: Two grabs in win

Ross caught two of his four targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Vikings.

Ross played just six of the Chiefs' 66 offensive snaps, operating as Kansas City's No. 6 wide receiver in the contest. In his limited usage, the second-year wideout was able reel in two catches, his first since Week 1. Despite garnering buzz during training camp, Ross has not been used nearly enough to have an impact in the Chiefs' offensive attack as a part of a crowded group of pass catchers. The 23-year-old will be extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes barring injuries to the receiving corps in Kansas City. Ross will look to get more involved when the Chiefs host the Broncos in Week 6.

  • Noah Brown WR | WAS

Texans' Noah Brown: Eligible to return Week 6

Brown (groin) is eligible to return to the active roster Week 6 against the Saints.

If Brown is designated for return from injured reserve, the Texans would have a 21-day window to add him to the roster. With Tank Dell currently in concussion protocol and potentially unavailable Sunday against New Orleans, Brown -- if healthy -- could factor into the mix at receiver behind Nico Collins and Robert Woods. John Metchie would also be a candidate to help replace Dell as the Texans' No. 3 wideout.

  • Cam Sims WR | CAR

Cam Sims: Cut from Giants' practice squad

The Giants cut Sims from their practice squad Tuesday.

Sims joined the Giants' practice squad prior to Week 1, but he never made his way onto the active roster before the team decided to part ways with him. He's now set to become a free agent.

  • Lance McCutcheon: Cut from Texans' practice team

Houston cut McCutcheon from its practice squad Tuesday.

McCutcheon is set to become a free agent after joining the Texans' practice squad prior to Week 1. He played in 10 games with the Rams in 2022 but has yet to play a down this regular season.

  • Cole Beasley WR | NYG

Cole Beasley: Back on Giants' practice squad

The Giants designated Beasley (leg) for return from the practice squad injured list and restored him to their practice squad Tuesday.

Beasley had been on the practice squad injured list with a leg issue since before Week 1, but he's now back to full speed and available for the Giants' practice team. Barring injuries to the Giants' receiving corps, his path to significant playing time with the active squad is relatively narrow.

  • Patriots' Tyquan Thornton: Has 21-day window opened

The Patriots designated Thornton (shoulder) for return from injured reserve Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

New England held an unofficial session Tuesday, and Thornton's showed enough for the team to open a 21-day window in which to evaluate him for a potential return to the active roster. He's been impacted by a shoulder injury since Aug. 17 and so far has missed five games to begin the campaign. How Thornton is listed on the Patriots' first Week 6 practice report Wednesday may give a sense of his likelihood of returning Sunday at Las Vegas.
