  • Terry McLaurin WR | WAS

Commanders' Terry McLaurin: Gets into end zone in loss

McLaurin brought in five of 12 targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in the Commanders' 38-31 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.

The normally reliable receiver was far from his most efficient and was uncharacteristically guilty of a couple of late drops, but McLaurin still delivered a solid fantasy day thanks in large part to his 26-yard touchdown grab to open the scoring. The score was only McLaurin's second of the season and first since Week 2, but his target tally was a new high-water mark in 2023 and his third of the double-digit variety this season. McLaurin next takes aim at a vulnerable Patriots secondary in a Week 9 road interconference matchup.

  • Calvin Ridley WR | TEN

Jaguars' Calvin Ridley: Targeted 10 times in Week 8

Ridley caught six of 10 targets for 83 yards in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Steelers.

Ridley tied Evan Engram for the team lead in targets while finishing five yards shy of Engram's team-leading total. In his three best games -- including this one -- Ridley has combined for 21 catches, 306 yards and one touchdown on 29 targets, but he has just 12 catches for 145 yards and one touchdown on 29 targets across five other games. He'll remain a low-floor, high-ceiling option in Week 10 against the 49ers following Jacksonville's Week 9 bye.

  • Jahan Dotson WR | ATL

Commanders' Jahan Dotson: Best showing of season Sunday

Dotson brought in eight of 10 targets for 108 yards and one touchdown in the Commanders' 38-31 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.

Dotson led the Commanders in receptions and receiving yards on the afternoon with totals that also qualified as season highs. Dotson also recorded his second touchdown grab of the season for good measure, finding the end zone from 21 yards out early in the second quarter. The speedy second-year man carries an impressive 13-151-1 line over his last two games into a Week 9 road matchup against an inconsistent Patriots secondary that gave up a pair of 100-yard performances to the Dolphins' Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on Sunday.

  • Chris Olave WR | NO

Saints' Chris Olave: Moderate stat line in strong win

Olave gathered in five of nine targets for 46 yards during Sunday's 38-27 win versus the Colts.

Olave didn't pop off the stat sheet in this season-best scoring performance for the Saints offense. The 2022 first-round pick paced the team in targets for the third week in a row, as he's accumulated 34 targets over this span. However, Olave has only accumulated 199 receiving yards in the sample, as he and quarterback Derek Carr have continually struggled to connect on deep passes over the last few weeks. The 23-year-old wideout's consistency in the short-to-intermediate passing game provides a solid floor for his fantasy production, but, with just one touchdown on 44 receptions this season, he'll likely need to start reeling in more deep balls in order to hit his ceiling in fantasy. Otherwise, Olave and 30-year-old wideout Michael Thomas will likely continue to cut into one another's fantasy production moving forward.

  • CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Shreds Rams' secondary

Lamb recorded 12 receptions on 14 targets for 158 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 43-20 win over the Rams.

Lamb dominated the opportunity among Cowboys pass catchers, as he earned a season-best 14 targets with no other player topping four. He took advantage by dominating the Rams secondary, finding the end zone from 22 and 10 yards away. In total, he had four receptions of more than 20 yards, helping him top 100 yards for the third time this season and for the second consecutive contest.

  • Jaguars' Christian Kirk: Four catches in Week 8

Kirk caught four of five targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Steelers.

Kirk came into the game leading Jacksonville in targets and receiving yards, but he finished fourth on the team in both categories in this one behind Evan Engram, Calvin Ridley and Travis Etienne. Those four players account for the majority of the Jaguars' scrimmage yards, but one or two usually take a back seat on any given week. Kirk drew the short straw this time but will look to build on his season totals of 43 catches for 520 yards and three touchdowns on 60 targets when the Jaguars face the 49ers in Week 10 after a Week 9 bye.

  • Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ

Jets' Garrett Wilson: Reaches century mark in OT win

Wilson caught seven of 13 targets for 100 yards and added a six-yard rush in Sunday's 13-10 overtime win over the Giants.

Wilson continues to be productive despite Zach Wilson's inconsistency under center, and the Jets' top receiver reached 100 receiving yards for the first time since Week 13 of last season. He added another nice catch to his highlight package in this one, getting both feet down along the sideline for a 17-yard reception that the Giants unsuccessfully challenged in the fourth quarter. Wilson's 29-yard catch later in the fourth proved crucial, as the Jets added another 29-yard pass on the next play before spiking the ball with one second left and kicking a game-tying field goal. Wilson hasn't found the end zone since Week 2, but he has 190 receiving yards in his last two games heading into a Week 9 MNF matchup with the Chargers.

  • Cooper Kupp WR | SEA

    Rams' Cooper Kupp: Slowed again

Kupp recorded four receptions on 10 targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 43-20 loss to the Cowboys.

The Rams' offense was held in check throughout the game, as Darrell Henderson was the team's leading receiver with 54 yards. Meanwhile, Kupp has combined to record just six receptions for 50 yards across his last two games. Particularly concerning for his outlook moving forward is that Matthew Stafford suffered a thumb injury in the loss, leaving Brett Rypien as the potential starter for a Week 9 matchup at Green Bay.

  • Rashid Shaheed WR | SEA

Saints' Rashid Shaheed: Tallies another long score Week 8

Shaheed caught all three of his targets for 153 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 38-27 win against the Colts.

Shaheed connected with quarterback Derek Carr on two long balls, including a season-long 58-yard touchdown pass that he caught in stride before gliding into the end zone in the second quarter. The 25-year-old speedster also recorded a 51-yard catch deep down the left side of the field in the fourth quarter. Shaheed has now accounted for the Saints' three longest plays from scrimmage this season, and he has logged a 25-yard-plus reception in five of eight games. With 23 receptions on 38 targets for 479 yards, Shaheed should continue to serve as the team's go-to big-play threat while slotting in behind top wideouts Chris Olave and Michael Thomas, who logged nine and seven targets Sunday, respectively.

  • Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Team-high yardage total in win

Waddle secured seven of 12 targets for 121 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 31-17 win over the Patriots on Sunday.

Waddle led the Dolphins in receiving yards on the afternoon, with the exclamation point coming via a 31-yard scoring grab in the fourth quarter, his third score of the season. All of Waddle's end-zone trips this season have come within the last four contests, and Sunday's performance also qualified as his first 100-yard tally of the campaign. Waddle figures to be busy once again during the Dolphins' Week 9 showdown against the powerful Chiefs offense in Germany.
