  • Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Won't play Week 17

Eskridge (ribs) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

After another week of no practice participation, Eskridge is in line to miss his fourth game in a row with this ribs issue. The 26-year-old wideout has really struggled to stay on the field this season, appearing in just four games, and his kick-return duties will likely be assumed by Zach Charbonnet in Week 17.

  • Justin Watson WR | HOU

Chiefs' Justin Watson: Faces Bengals on Sunday

With Kadarius Toney (hip) ruled out, Watson figures to maintain a key role in the Chiefs offense Sunday against the Bengals.

With Toney sidelined in Week 16, Watson -- who has recorded a 26-419-3 receiving line in 14 games -- started against the Raiders, logging 49 of a possible 76 snaps on offense en route to catching four of his six targets for 38 yards and a touchdown. This weekend, look for Watson to maintain his complementary role behind Kansas City's top targets (TE Travis Kelce and WR Rashee Rice), a context that limits the 27-year-old's fantasy utility to deeper formats.

  • Marquise Brown WR | PHI

Cardinals' Marquise Brown: Officially on injured reserve

The Cardinals officially placed Brown (heel) on injured reserve Friday.

Coach Jonathan Gannon announced the pending transaction earlier Friday, per Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site, and Brown now will miss the final two games of the campaign. Most of Brown's 2023 output occurred with Joshua Dobbs and Clayton Tune under center, as he mustered only a 9-134-0 line on 24 targets (of his 51-574-4 on 101 targets overall) after Kyler Murray made his season debut Week 10. A heel injury is to blame for Brown's abbreviated season, capping him at 14 appearances, with the final two including early departures. He's an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so it remains to be seen if he'll be retained by Arizona or otherwise opt to move elsewhere.

  • Jauan Jennings WR | MIN

49ers' Jauan Jennings: Ruled out for Week 17

Jennings (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Washington.

Willie Snead likely will fill in as the No. 3 receiver again, with Ronnie Bell and Chris Conley also candidates to play a few more snaps than usual. This is the second straight game Jennings has missed since entering concussion protocol.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Ready to face Titans

Collins (calf) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans after practicing fully Thursday and Friday.

Collins was listed as limited Wednesday, but back-to-back full sessions have paved the way for the wideout to suit up Sunday and maintain a key role in Houston's passing attack Week 17. Now further removed from the calf issue that sidelined him Week 15, Collins' fantasy prospects this weekend are further boosted by the return of top QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) from a two-game absence.

  • Noah Brown WR | WAS

Texans' Noah Brown: Good to go for Sunday

Brown (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans after practicing fully Friday.

Brown logged limited practices Wednesday and Thursday, but following Friday's full session, he'll be available Sunday, as is the case with fellow WR Nico Collins, who is managing a calf issue. In the Texans' 36-22 loss to the Browns in Week 16, Brown caught three of of his seven targets for 38 yards, but his fantasy prospects this weekend should be boosted by a better matchup as well as the return of top QB C.J. Stroud from a two-game absence.

  • Colts' D.J. Montgomery: Questionable for Sunday

Montgomery (groin) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Raiders.

The 27-year-old wideout seems to be trending in the right direction to play Sunday, as he's gone from logging back-to-back DNPs to open the Colts' week of practice to a full workload Friday. Montgomery has seen four targets in each of his last two games, but if he's able to suit up, his usage could definitely decrease with Michael Pittman (concussion/shoulder) expected to return in Week 17. Indianapolis is already shorthanded going into Sunday's affair, as only two of its wide receivers are without an injury designation, so Montgomery's availability will be something to look out for closer to kickoff.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Slated to play in Week 17

Head coach Pete Carroll said Friday that Metcalf is tending to stiffness in his lower back, but the wide receiver is in line to play Sunday against the Steelers, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.

Metcalf showed up on the Seahawks' Week 17 injury report Thursday as a non-participant due to a back injury, which his coach now has clarified. Officially, the team is listing him as questionable for Sunday's game, per Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times, but Carroll's comments seem to alleviate concerns about the wideout's upcoming availability. In the end, Metcalf's status will be confirmed, one way or another, when Seattle releases its inactive list about 90 minutes before the game's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE

Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Questionable for Sunday

Jeudy is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers after missing Friday's practice due to an illness, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Meanwhile, Courtland Sutton (concussion) was ruled out for the contest, while Marvin Mims (hamstring) is listed as questionable after not practicing Friday. With that in mind, the Broncos could add WR reinforcements via the practice squad, but for now, the team's healthiest options at the position are Brandon Johnson and Lil'Jordan Humphrey. If Jeudy ends up being active for Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, he figures to be a key target for QB Jarrett Stidham in the absence of Sutton and possibly Mims.

  • Marvin Mims WR | DEN

Broncos' Marvin Mims: Questionable after Friday's DNP

Mims (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Mims was unable to practice Friday due to a hamstring injury that he appears to have suffered during the week, as the rookie practiced fully Wednesday prior to being limited Thursday. Courtland Sutton (concussion) has been ruled out and Jerry Jeudy (illness) is questionable after missing practice Friday, so more opportunities could be available for Brandon Johnson and Lil'Jordan Humphrey in a Denver passing game that will be quarterbacked by Jarrett Stidham against the Chargers.
