  • Packers' Christian Watson: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Watson (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Both Watson and fellow wideout Jayden Reed continue to tend to their respective ankle issues, but the former hasn't experienced much of a change in his workload. Having said that, Watson turned his two touches into five yards from scrimmage this past Sunday versus the Texans, so he'll be aiming for a stronger performance Sunday at Jacksonville, assuming he's active.

  • Derius Davis WR | LAC

Chargers' Derius Davis: Opens week as DNP

Davis (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Davis suffered a hamstring injury during practice leading up to Monday's game against the Cardinals, which was severe enough for him to be sidelined. His DNP on Wednesday isn't a good start to the week, but he'll have two more chances to practice in at least a limited capacity ahead of the Chargers' Week 8 contest against the Saints on Sunday.

  • Jayden Reed WR | GB

    Packers' Jayden Reed: Limited Wednesday

Reed (ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Both Reed and fellow wideout Christian Watson continue to have practice reps managed due to their respective ankle issues, but the former hasn't experienced much of a downturn in his workload on game days. Reed is coming off a season-low three touches for just 10 yards from scrimmage this past Sunday against the Texans, so he'll be looking to bounce back this weekend at Jacksonville, assuming he's able to suit up.

  • Calvin Ridley WR | TEN

Titans' Calvin Ridley: Misses practice with foot injury

Ridley sat out Wednesday's practice with a foot injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Ridley handled his usual workload in a 34-10 loss at Buffalo on Sunday, leading the Titans in targets (nine) and route share (77 percent) but catching just three passes for 42 yards. With the Titans trading DeAndre Hopkins to the Chiefs on Wednesday, Ridley could end up drawing a few more targets, although volume has been the least of his problems in what's been a dismal Tennessee offense through six games.

  • Robert Woods WR | PIT

Texans' Robert Woods: Remains sidelined Wednesday

    Woods (foot) didn't practice Wednesday.

Woods missed Houston's last two games due to plantar fasciitis, and while he's reportedly making progress in his recovery, the receiver still isn't ready to resume practicing. If Woods doesn't play Sunday against the Colts, Xavier Hutchinson would continue to have a role in three-receiver sets, though Hutchinson was working ahead of Woods even before the veteran wideout got hurt.

  • Allen Lazard WR | NYJ

Jets' Allen Lazard: Sits Wednesday with chest injury

Lazard didn't practice Wednesday due to a chest injury, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

The injury is a new one for Lazard, who had four catches for 58 yards in this past Sunday's loss to the Steelers while former Packers teammate Davante Adams made his Jets debut. Even if Lazard returns to practice and avoids an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Patriots, he's likely to operate as a distant No. 3 on the Jets' wide receiver depth chart behind Adams and Garrett Wilson.

  • Jauan Jennings WR | MIN

49ers' Jauan Jennings: Not practicing Wednesday

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Jennings (hip) won't practice Wednesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

The state of the 49ers' receiving corps is such that Jennings will be welcomed back with open arms once he gets past the hip injury that sidelined him Week 7. After this past Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, Shanahan told Matt Barrows of The Athletic that he hoped Jennings would be back this week, but his lack of activity Wednesday isn't a great sign. Fortunately for Jennings, he'll have sessions Thursday and Friday to put himself on a path to suiting up Sunday against the Cowboys. If he's available, he could serve as San Francisco's top wideout, considering Brandon Aiyuk (knee) is out of the season and Deebo Samuel is recovering from a bout with pneumonia.

  • Zay Flowers WR | BAL

Ravens' Zay Flowers: Listed as non-participant

The Ravens listed Flowers (ankle) as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.

The Ravens opened Week 8 with a walk-through session after beating Tampa Bay on Monday. Flowers returned to the 41-31 win after injuring his ankle early on, ultimately handling a 70 percent snap share and a team-high 88 percent route share, but he finished with just one target and one carry for 30 total yards. The only pass he saw after suffering the injury was a flubbed backward throw that officially counted a lost fumble for quarterback Lamar Jackson.

  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Jaguars' Gabe Davis: Limited to begin Week 8 prep

Davis (knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.

For the third week in a row, Davis is opening prep with a limited practice due to the knee injury. He showed no ill effects from the injury with a two-touchdown Week 6 performance against the Bears, but he took a step back in the Week 7 win over New England, finishing with just one catch. Both of those contests were in London, but Davis and the Jaguars will be back stateside Sunday for a home game against the Packers.

  • Dyami Brown WR | WAS

Commanders' Dyami Brown: Dealing with ankle injury

Brown was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to an ankle injury.

Brown was fifth among Washington's wide receivers in routes and snaps during Sunday's 40-7 win over the Panthers. He typically sees around 1-to-3 targets per game, so any limitations for Week 8 wouldn't have much affect on the Commanders' game plan against Chicago.
