Raiders' Jack Bech: Could earn big role in Year 2
Bech performed well during OTAs and could be a key part of Vegas' receiving corps under new head coach Klint Kubiak, Michael Canelo of SI.com reports.
Bech had just 20 catches for 224 yards across 16 regular-season games as a rookie, but the 2025 second-round pick could get more opportunities in his second season as part of an underwhelming Raiders wide receiver room that also includes Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor, Dont'e Thornton and Malik Benson. Canelo's colleague Jared Feinberg describes Bech as a savvy route runner, and Bech's ability to get open with crisp routes should be rewarded more than it was in his rookie year if the Raiders get better quarterback play out of newcomers Fernando Mendoza and Kirk Cousins.

Raiders' Jack Bech: Held catchless in Week 18
Bech failed to reel in either of his two targets in Sunday's 14-12 win over the Chiefs. He finished his rookie regular season with 20 receptions for 224 yards on 29 targets over 16 games.
Bech struggled to get anything going Sunday, much like the majority of his rookie season with the Raiders. The 23-year-old wideout was not a major part of the Raiders' offensive plans this season, while tight end Brock Bowers and fellow wide receiver Tre Tucker stepped up as the focal points of the team's passing attack. With subpar quarterback play and a struggling offense, Bech was not in an ideal situation to start out his professional career. The TCU product should continue to improve and will hope to see more consistent play at signal caller when he returns for the 2026 season in Las Vegas.

Raiders' Jack Bech: Logs full practice Wednesday
Bech (back) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Paul Gutierrez of the Raiders' official site reports.
Bech was a late addition to the Raiders' injury report during Week 17 prep, which resulted in him being sidelined for this past Sunday's loss against the Giants. He was able to practice without restriction Wednesday, which puts the rookie second-rounder on track to play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Chiefs. Bech has accumulated 20 catches (on 27 targets) for 224 yards through the first 15 regular-season games of his NFL career.

Raiders' Jack Bech: Won't play vs. NYG
Bech (back) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Bech popped up on Friday's injury report due to a back injury and has not been cleared to play Sunday after going through pregame warmups. Bech's absence means Tyler Lockett, Alex Bachman and Dont'e Thornton are in line for larger roles on offense alongside Tre Tucker. With the Raiders eliminated from playoff contention, Bech's last opportunity to play this season is Week 18 against the Chiefs.
