Raiders' Jack Bech: Scores in season opener
Bech caught three of four targets for 23 yards and a touchdown Sunday in a 27-13 win over Miami.
Bech logged just 27 of Las Vegas' 68 offensive snaps, but his 3-23-1 line on four targets was very similar to that of fellow wideouts Tre Tucker (3-27-0 on four targets) and Jalen Nailor (3-27-0 on five targets). Bech had by far the biggest impact, however, thanks to his 15-yard TD reception in the first quarter. QB Kirk Cousins leaned the most on running back Ashton Jeanty (6-45-2 line on six targets) and tight end Michael Mayer (6-32-0 on seven targets) through the air, but his near-even distribution of targets among the team's wideouts is a good sign for Bech's potential to grow within the offense. The Raiders' WR corps doesn't have a clear-cut No. 1 option, so Bech has a chance to push for an increased role with a strong start to the campaign.

Raiders' Jack Bech: Plays in finale
Bech caught his sole target for five yards in Thursday night's preseason finale against the 49ers.
Bech played 20 offensive snaps in the contest, garnering attention just one time. The 2025 second-rounder is in a battle for starting wide receiver snaps. With Sunday's cutdown day rapidly approaching, the Raiders likely already know whether Bech, Dont'e Thornton, Dareke Young or Malik Benson will take on the No. 3 wide receiver role for the Week 1 matchup against the Dolphins.

Raiders' Jack Bech: Catches TD in preseason opener
Bech caught three passes on as many targets for 25 yards and a touchdown during the Raiders' 27-14 preseason loss to the Cardinals on Thursday.
All three of Bech's catches came in the first half, with his last resulting in a six-yard touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins. Bech led all wide receivers with 22 offensive snaps, and a strong rapport with Cousins would help the former's case for the WR3 job, with his main competition coming from Dont'e Thornton, Dareke Young and rookie sixth-rounder Malik Benson. Bech and the Raiders will hit the road for their next preseason game against the Texans this Thursday.

Raiders' Jack Bech: Could earn big role in Year 2
Bech performed well during OTAs and could be a key part of Vegas' receiving corps under new head coach Klint Kubiak, Michael Canelo of SI.com reports.
Bech had just 20 catches for 224 yards across 16 regular-season games as a rookie, but the 2025 second-round pick could get more opportunities in his second season as part of an underwhelming Raiders wide receiver room that also includes Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor, Dont'e Thornton and Malik Benson. Canelo's colleague Jared Feinberg describes Bech as a savvy route runner, and Bech's ability to get open with crisp routes should be rewarded more than it was in his rookie year if the Raiders get better quarterback play out of newcomers Fernando Mendoza and Kirk Cousins.
