  • 49ers' George Kittle: No catches in return from injury

Kittle (hamstring) failed to bring in either of his targets in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Falcons.

It was a Christian McCaffrey focused gameplan out of the gates Sunday, resulting in no San Francisco receiver topping 31 yards in the win. Kittle's managers were hoping for more after he spent the last five-plus weeks tending to his injured hamstring on IR. The star tight end didn't appear limited while running routes, which is the only silver lining from Sunday's bagel in the box score. Kittle will look to get more involved offensively against the Texans next Sunday for a 49ers squad that is still banged-up at the receiver position.

  • Zach Ertz TE | WAS

Commanders' Zach Ertz: Cashes in fourth TD

Ertz (shoulder) had three receptions on seven targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-22 loss to Dallas.

Ertz was one of the few bright spots on either side of the ball for the Commanders in the blowout loss. The veteran starter cashed in his second touchdown in as many weeks, bringing his season receiving line up to 23-229-4 in seven appearances. Ertz showed no limitations from the shoulder injury that plagued him during the practice week, setting him up for another start against the Chiefs on Monday Night Football in Week 8.

  • Evan Engram TE | DEN

Broncos' Evan Engram: Gains 42 yards Sunday

Engram had five receptions on eight targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 33-32 win over the Giants.

Engram duplicated his production from a week ago on two more targets against New York's other football club in Week 7. The veteran tight end has quietly generated value for those in PPR formats by averaging 4.5 receptions in his past four starts. Engram will provide fantasy managers with a high floor in a soft matchup against the Cowboys next Sunday.

  • Raiders' Michael Mayer: Limited to one catch Sunday

Mayer brought in one of two targets for 10 yards in the Raiders' 31-0 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.

Mayer drew a second consecutive start in place of Brock Bowers (knee), but his numbers paled in comparison to the 5-50-1 line on seven targets he generated against the Titans in his initial turn with the first unit. Mayer's run as the top tight end may have come to an end Sunday, considering Bowers is expected to be healthy enough to play in a Week 9 home matchup against the Jaguars on Sunday, Nov. 2 following a Week 8 bye.

  • Jake Ferguson TE | DAL

Cowboys' Jake Ferguson: Scoring binge continues

Ferguson corralled all seven of his targets for 29 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 44-22 win over the Commanders.

Ferguson continued his red zone prowess Sunday, extending his scoring streak to four games while recording his sixth touchdown over that span. The 26-year-old is on pace for a career year with 51 receptions, 334 yards and a career-high six touchdowns in just seven games played this season. Fantasy managers should probably continue playing with house money and start Ferguson without question against the Broncos next Sunday.

  • Bears' Colston Loveland: Three catches in victory

Loveland caught three of four targets for 24 yards in the Bears' 26-14 win over the Saints on Sunday.

Loveland has eight receptions over five contests overall, but with fellow TE Cole Kmet having exited Sunday's contest with a back injury, the rookie first-rounder could see an uptick in snaps against the Ravens this weekend if Kmet is forced to miss time. In such a scenario, Loveland could merit Week 8 lineup consideration with six teams on bye.

  • Trey McBride TE | ARI

Cardinals' Trey McBride: Two trips to end zone against Pack

McBride caught 10 of 13 targets for 74 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Packers.

The fourth-year tight end hasn't missed a beat with Jacoby Brissett under center instead of Kyler Murray (foot). McBride hauled in scores of 15 yards in the second quarter and 12 yards in the third, and through two games working with Brissett, he's delivered an 18-146-3 line on 24 targets as Arizona's clear No. 1 downfield option. With the Cardinals on bye in Week 8, Murray could get enough time to recover, but no matter who he's catching passes from, McBride could be poised for another impressive performance in Week 9 against the Cowboys.

  • Panthers' Ja'Tavion Sanders: Blanks in return

Sanders was targeted twice but didn't record a catch in Sunday's 13-6 win over the Jets.

Sanders returned to in-game action Sunday after missing the Panthers' last three contests due to an ankle injury. However, he wasn't heavily involved in the team's offensive game plan, drawing just two targets. The second-year pro has now caught 11 of 16 targets for 92 yards through four games this season. Although Sanders is expected to continue operating as the Panthers' top tight end in the Week 8 matchup against the Bills, he unlikely to carry much fantasy value, especially if Bryce Young (ankle) is sidelined.

  • Tommy Tremble TE | CAR

Panthers' Tommy Tremble: Struggles in Week 7

Tremble caught his only target for no yards in Sunday's 13-6 win over the Jets.

The 25-year-old returned to his reserve role with Ja'Tavion Sanders active in the Week 7 win. In the four games that Sanders has played in this season, Tremble has caught all seven of his targets for 38 yards. He's expected to continue operating as a depth option in Carolina's tight-end corps ahead of the Week 8 matchup against the Bills.

  • Tucker Kraft TE | GB

Packers' Tucker Kraft: Finds end zone again

Kraft caught five of 10 targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-23 win over the Cardinals.

While the third-year tight end wasn't exactly efficient with his team-high target volume, Kraft did come up big when it counted, hauling in a seven-yard TD from Jordan Love early in the fourth quarter. Kraft has four touchdowns in six games to begin the season, posting a 23-326-4 line on 32 targets, and he figures to be productive again in Week 8 against a Steelers defense that's been vulnerable to TEs this season.
