Theo Johnson TE | NYG
Giants' Theo Johnson: Efficient with three targets
Johnson brought in all three of his targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 17-7 loss to the Bengals.
Johnson followed up his career day last week with a solid effort against the Bengals on Sunday Night Football. The Giants' rookie tight end had been used sparsely early in the season, but the fourth-rounder is averaging four receptions and 39 yards over his last two contests. Johnson is a name worth monitoring in case his role continues to grow as the season progresses. For now, those in deeper formats can take a look at the tight end ahead of next Sunday's tilt versus the Eagles.

Sam LaPorta TE | DET
Lions' Sam LaPorta: Impactful with lone catch
LaPorta recorded one reception on one target for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 47-9 win over the Cowboys.
While game script dictated limited target volume for most of Detroit's pass catchers, LaPorta's lack of involvement in the offense remains alarming. He has yet to top five targets -- he's only reached that mark in Week 1 -- this season while managing to top 50 receiving yards in two matchups. Despite those concerning numbers, LaPorta did deliver with his lone catch Sunday, which was a 52-yard touchdown that came on a trick play.

Ja'Tavion Sanders TE | CAR
Panthers' Ja'Tavion Sanders: Sets season highs Sunday
Sanders corralled five of seven targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Falcons.
Sanders finished as Carolina's second-leading receiver behind Diontae Johnson (6-78-1) while setting season highs in targets, receptions and yards. The 21-year-old Sanders more than doubled his season yardage total with Sunday's effort, which shows how little the rookie was involved in the passing game up until this point. Those in need of tight end help might look Sanders' way in the event he builds off of this performance against the Commanders next Sunday.
-
Kyle Pitts TE | ATL
Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Rips off big gain in win
Pitts had three receptions on five targets for 70 yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Panthers.
Pitts did most of his damage on a 52-yard reception that wound up being the longest play of the game. Atlanta's rushing attack finished off most of Sunday's offensive drives, so the improving tight end remains scoreless since his Week 1 touchdown against Pittsburgh. Pitts has strung together a pair of solid receiving lines since getting shut out in Week 4, restoring faith in fantasy managers ahead of next Sunday's tilt against the Seahawks.

Grant Calcaterra TE | PHI
Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Steps up in Goedert's absence
Calcaterra caught all four of his targets for 67 yards in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Browns.
Dallas Goedert (hamstring) was injured on the Eagles' first drive of the game and didn't return, leaving Calcaterra as the team's top tight end. The 2022 sixth-round pick took advantage of the opportunity to put together the most productive game of his career, highlighted by a 34-yard reception in the second quarter that helped set up an A.J. Brown touchdown. If Goedert is forced to miss a Week 7 contest against the Giants, Calcaterra figured to get the start, although Albert Okwuegbunam (core muscle) could be ready to come off IR by then and compete for snaps as well.
-
Foster Moreau TE | HOU
Saints' Foster Moreau: Catches two passes versus Tampa Bay
Moreau hauled in both of his targets for 54 yards during Sunday's 51-27 loss to the Buccaneers.
Moreau logged more than 40 receiving yards for the first time since Week 1. The 27-year-old also recorded a team-long 41-yard reception on a deep pass from rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler, who was starting in place of an injured Derek Carr (oblique). The Saints appeared to use their tight ends more Week 6, though Juwan Johnson saw more of the benefits with three catches on three targets for 48 yards. Johnson has seen more consistent targets over the last three games while Moreau has totaled just four over this span. Moreau likely won't even warrant attention as a fringe waiver-wire pickup as long as Johnson commands the majority of usage at tight end for the Saints.
-
David Njoku TE | CLE
Browns' David Njoku: Team-high five grabs in loss
Njoku caught five of seven targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Eagles.
The tight end led the Browns in catches and targets, but the volume didn't amount to much with quarterback Deshaun Watson still not showing much of an ability to stretch the field. Coach Kevin Stefanski is sticking with Watson under center, per Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer, which could at least give Njoku a solid PPR floor as long as he can stay healthy. He'll try to build on this effort in Week 7 against the Bengals.

Juwan Johnson TE | NO
Saints' Juwan Johnson: Logs three catches versus Tampa Bay
Johnson caught all three targets for 48 yards during Sunday's 51-27 loss to the Buccaneers.
Johnson logged a season-high in receiving yards, most of which came on a season-long 27-yard reception in the first quarter. He also had two other targets wiped off the board by penalties in the third and fourth quarters. The Saints to featured their tight ends more with rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler starting in place of an injured Derek Carr (oblique), as Foster Moreau also logged two receptions on two targets for 54 yards. Johnson's recent resurgence in the offense is encouraging for any fantasy owners who took a flier on him early in the season. However, he's still probably just a solid waiver-wire pickup rather than a dependable piece in week-to-week lineups. Johnson will look to log at least three targets for the fourth game in a row during the Saints' upcoming game versus Denver on Thursday Night Football.
-
Ian Thomas TE | LV
Panthers' Ian Thomas: Uneventful return from injury
Thomas failed to catch any of his three targets in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Falcons.
Sunday's loss marked Thomas' first appearance this season, as the veteran tight end returned from a calf injury. However, Thomas appeared to be an afterthought in the Panthers' offensive game plan, seeing just two targets and playing behind rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders (five catches for 49 yards). With Tommy Tremble (concussion) potentially returning from injury as soon as next week, Thomas could see even less work and serve as the Panthers' No. 3 tight end in Week 7.

Tucker Kraft TE | GB
Packers' Tucker Kraft: Quiet showing in big win
Kraft secured two of four targets for 13 yards and rushed once for two yards in the Packers' 34-13 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
Kraft couldn't come close to replicating his stellar Week 5 production, which included a pair of touchdowns and 88 receiving yards overall. The second-year tight end does have multiple receptions in each game this season, but when the Packers' full complement of wide receivers are healthy, Kraft's production could experience some volatility.
