  • Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT

Steelers' Pat Freiermuth: Lone positive for Steelers' O

Freiermuth recorded eight receptions on 11 targets for 85 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 19-17 loss to the Bengals.

Freiermuth was the only impactful pass catcher for Pittsburgh, and he showed rapport with Russell Wilson in a late-game comeback attempt. His performance was highlighted by a 19-yard touchdown grab with eight minutes remaining in the contest, though he also chipped in gains of 17, 11 and 10 yards to post his highest yardage total of the season. The only drawback for Freiermuth was a drop in the final seconds that could have set the Steelers up for a game-winning field-goal attempt. Nevertheless, Freiermuth closes the regular season having matched his career high with seven touchdowns while setting a new career high with 65 catches. Given George Pickens' recent struggles, Freiermuth arguably enters the postseason as Wilson's most reliable pass catcher.

  • Isaiah Likely TE | NYG

Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Gains 38 yards Saturday

Likely caught three of five targets for 38 yards in Saturday's 35-10 win over the Browns.

Likely finished third in targets for the Ravens on Saturday while tying his highest yardage total since Week 13. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, the talented backup failed to hit pay dirt, which ended his touchdown streak at two games. Likely finishes the regular season with new career bests in receptions (42), receiving yards (474) and touchdowns (six). The Ravens will now prepare for either the Chargers or the Steelers in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

  • Mark Andrews TE | BAL

Ravens' Mark Andrews: Grabs 11th TD

Andrews had four receptions on eight targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 35-10 win over the Browns.

Andrews capped off a stellar second half of the fantasy season with his sixth straight game recording a touchdown. The 28-year-old set a new personal career best by catching his 11th touchdown of the regular season, finishing with a 55-673-11 line over 17 active games. Andrews and the Ravens will now turn their attention to either the Steelers or the Chargers in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

  • Jordan Akins TE | JAC

Browns' Jordan Akins: Fills in well again

Akins recorded six receptions on eight targets for 60 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 35-10 loss to the Ravens.

Akins served as the Browns' starting tight end due to David Njoku (knee) being sidelined for the second consecutive week. He was one of the few bright spots in the offense, finishing second on the team in both targets and yards. Akins also accounted for Cleveland's only touchdown of the game with a 16-yard reception early in the fourth quarter. Overall, he's settled into a reliable backup tight end role and is set to enter free agency after spending the last two seasons with Cleveland.

  • Drew Sample TE | CIN

Bengals' Drew Sample: Good to go against Pittsburgh

Sample (groin) is active for Saturday's game against the Steelers.

Sample was expected to play in Saturday's regular-season finale despite missing practice all week due to a groin injury. Sample will serve as the Bengals' No. 2 tight end behind Mike Gesicki.

  • Patriots' Mitchell Wilcox: Elevated to active roster

The Patriots elevated Wilcox from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Chris Mason of The Springfield Republican reports.

Wilcox will be elevated for the third and final time this season and will be available for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Bills. Wilcox played 28 snaps (one on offense, 27 on special teams) in his first two games but did not show up in the box score in either contest.

  • Patriots' Jack Westover: Signed to Patriots' active roster

New England signed Westover from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Chris Mason of The Springfield Republican reports.

Westover signed with the Patriots' practice squad in early October after being waived by the Seahawks in late August with an injury settlement due to an undisclosed issue. The undrafted free agent out of Washington was elevated to the Patriots' active roster twice and played mostly on special teams. Assuming he's active for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Bills, Westover will provide depth at the tight end position behind Hunter Henry (foot), Austin Hooper and Jaheim Bell.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Activated from IR

The Eagles activated Goedert (knee) from injured reserve Saturday, and the tight end doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game against the Giants.

After practicing fully all week, Goedert will be available for his first game action since he suffered a knee injury Week 13 at Baltimore. While many of the Eagles starters won't suit up in the season finale, the team seemingly wants Goedert to get his legs under him in a game scenario in advance of the playoffs. It's unclear how much run he may get Sunday, but Grant Calcaterra and E.J. Jenkins will be Philadelphia's other options at tight end this weekend.

  • Tyler Mabry TE | CAR

Seahawks' Tyler Mabry: Getting opportunity in Week 18

Mabry was elevated from the Seahawks' practice squad to their active roster Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Mabry will likely provide tight end depth for Seattle after Brady Russell (foot) was placed on injured reserve Thursday. If he plays Sunday against the Rams, it will be Mabry's third game of the season. In his prior two contests, the veteran out of Maryland logged four offensive snaps and six special teams snaps without recording any additional stats.

  • Raiders' John Samuel Shenker: Gets another elevation for Week 18

The Raiders elevated Shenker from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday.

Shenker is being elevated for the third straight week to provide tight end depth and to work on special teams. Over the Raiders' past two games, the Auburn product has tallied five offensive snaps and 35 special-teams snaps. Shenker will likely log a similar workload Sunday in the team's season finale against the Chargers.
