  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Technically under contract still

The void date on Goedert's contract has been pushed back to Friday, giving him two extra days to discuss an extension with the Eagles, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.

Goedert can still re-sign with Philadelphia after the deal voids, but it'll help the team for cap purposes if they agree to something before the tight end officially becomes a free agent. It sounds like Goedert prefers to stay with the only NFL team he's ever known.

  • Julian Hill TE | NE

Patriots' Julian Hill: Leaves Miami for division rival

Hill agreed to terms Wednesday on a three-year contract with the Patriots, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Hill fits with New England as a depth option and blocker behind starting tight end Hunter Henry, a role opened up by the departure of Austin Hooper to Atlanta. Regardless of the change of scenery, Hill's realistic realm of outcomes for 2026 likely doesn't include attaining fantasy relevance, as across 14 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2025 he managed only 150 receiving yards (a career high). That said, at 6-foot-4, 251 pounds, Hill could emerge as an option for quarterback Drake Maye in the red zone.

  • Foster Moreau TE | HOU

Texans' Foster Moreau: Lands with Houston

Moreau (ankle) agreed to terms Wednesday on a contract with the Texans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Moreau appears fully recovered from the ankle injury that limited him to 11 regular-season appearances with the Saints in 2025, in which span he secured seven of 10 targets for 46 yards. He had been heavily involved in New Orleans' tight end rotation in 2024, when he logged a 32-413-5 receiving line (43 targets) while playing all 17 regular-season games. Going forward, Moreau will operate as one of Houston's top options behind starting TE Dalton Schultz (calf), who recently inked an extension through 2027.

  • Lucas Krull TE | DEN

Broncos' Lucas Krull: Back to Denver on one-year deal

The Broncos re-signed Krull (foot) to a one-year contract Wednesday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Krull is re-upping with the Broncos via a one-year, $1.15 million deal, per Mike Klis of 9News Denver. The depth tight end was able to suit up for only the first three regular-season games of the 2025 campaign with Denver due to a foot injury, but he appeared to be nearing a return down the stretch of the team's playoff run and should be ready to participate in spring activities.

  • Blake Whiteheart: Not tendered

Whiteheart was not tendered by the Browns, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Whiteheart was a restricted free agent but will now enter the pool of unrestricted players able to be signed by any organization. The tight end played in all 17 regular-season games for the Browns in 2025, primarily playing a blocking role for both the offense and special-teams unit. The 25-year-old can be a strong No. 3 tight end for any team looking to build up its offensive trenches.

  • Jake Tonges TE | SF

    49ers' Jake Tonges: Signs extension

Tonges (foot) is signing a two-year, $8 million contract to stay with the 49ers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Tonges was scheduled for restricted free agency and presumably would've gotten some kind of tender if the two sides hadn't worked out this deal. He suffered a plantar fascia injury during the playoff loss at Seattle in January, but it's thought to be less serious than the Achilles tear that George Kittle suffered a week earlier. Tonges thus stands a chance to start Week 1.

  • Durham Smythe TE | BAL

Ravens' Durham Smythe: Blocking in Baltimore

The Ravens and Smythe have agreed to terms on a contract, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Smythe had a substantial role for the 2025 Bears as a blocking tight end for both the offense and special-teams unit. He'll now bring that skill set to Baltimore, likely as a replacement for Charlie Kolar, whom the Ravens lost to the Chargers in free agency. The 30-year-old Smythe caught just four passes in 17 games during the 2025 regular season, a number that may increase now that he is paired up with Lamar Jackson in a new Ravens offense.

  • Commanders' Chig Okonkwo: Set to join Commanders

Okonkwo has agreed to terms on a three-year contract with Washington, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Okonkwo is moving on from Tennessee after four seasons to become the new top pass-catching TE for quarterback Jayden Daniels, joining a positional room that also includes Ben Sinnott and John Bates (who combined for 22 catches in 2025). Now entering his age-27 season, Okonkwo has tallied over 400 receiving yards in four consecutive years and brings a respectable production floor to the Commanders. For fantasy purposes, Okonkwo will be a sleeper breakout candidate at the tight end position in the event that Daniels is the quarterback able to unlock the untapped potential promised by Okonkwo's YAC abilities and speed (4.52 40).

  • Jack Stoll TE | CLE

Browns' Jack Stoll: Moving on to Cleveland

Stoll (knee) agreed to terms Wednesday on a one-year contract with the Browns, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Stoll, who appears back to full health after ending the 2025 season on IR due to a knee issue, will provide depth behind breakout rookie tight end Harold Fannin (groin) for Cleveland. Across 15 regular-season appearances with the Saints last year, Stoll secured six of 11 targets for 46 yards and one touchdown.

  • James Mitchell TE | CAR

Panthers' James Mitchell: Re-signs with Panthers

Mitchell has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Carolina, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Mitchell will continue to provide depth in a tight end room that also houses Ja'Tavion Sanders (lower leg), Tommy Tremble and Mitchell Evans. Across five regular-season games in 2025, Mitchell secured all three of his targets for 28 yards.
