  • Dalton Schultz TE | HOU

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Four grabs in divisional-round loss

Schultz caught all four of his targets for 63 yards in Saturday's 23-14 divisional-round loss to Kansas City.

The veteran tight end was on the other end of C.J. Stroud's longest completion of the day, a 34-yard connection on the Texans' first possession that helped set up a field goal. Schultz suited up for every game in 2024, the first time he'd accomplished that since he was a Cowboy in 2021, but even with the Texans dealing with a number of injuries to their wide receiver room, he didn't see an increase in his production of target volume. He posted a 53-532-2 line on 85 targets over 17 regular-season contests before adding six catches for 86 yards on eight targets over two postseason appearances. Schultz has two years and $22 million left on his current contract, and given the middling impact he made in 2024, it's possible the Texans consider making him a cap casualty this offseason.

  • Travis Kelce TE | KC

Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Dominating performance vs. HOU

Kelce corralled seven of eight targets for 117 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 23-14 win over Houston.

A well-rested Kelce walked into Saturday's divisional-round tilt and casually dropped his best receiving line of the season. The 35-year-old dominated the middle of the field in a matchup that had Kansas City at a disadvantage on the perimeters. Kelce saw his season totals take a dip in 2024, but it is obvious that he remains quarterback Patrick Mahomes' favorite target when the stakes are raised. The Chiefs will now prepare to host next Sunday's AFC Championship Game against either the Bills or the Ravens.

  • Colson Yankoff TE | WAS

Commanders' Colson Yankoff: Activated off IR

The Commanders activated Yankoff (hamstring) off injured reserve and removed him from their injury report Saturday.

Yankoff was designated to return to practice Jan. 8 but didn't play in last weekend's wild-card win over Tampa Bay. He logged a second straight week of full practices this week, and by being activated, he's now eligible to suit up Saturday night against the Lions. A roster spot opened up for Yankoff after linebacker Jordan Magee was placed on injured reserve Saturday due to a hamstring injury.

  • Armani Rogers TE | BUF

Bills' Armani Rogers: Getting look from Buffalo

The Bills signed Rogers to a reserve/future contract Friday.

Rogers, who played quarterback in college before converting to a tight end upon going pro, originally signed with Washington as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He was a bit of a Cinderella story that season, opening the campaign on the Commanders' roster and catching five passes on six targets for 64 yards while rushing twice for 26 yards over 11 games. However, Rogers tore his Achilles in May of 2023 and hasn't played in an NFL game since, though he spent much of the 2024 campaign on Atlanta's practice squad. Rogers isn't eligible to play for Buffalo during the remainder of the postseason, but he'll be able to compete for a roster spot during training camp this summer.

  • AJ Barner TE | SEA

Seahawks' AJ Barner: Finds paydirt four times as rookie

Barner caught 30 passes (on 38 targets) for 245 yards and four touchdowns across 17 games with the Seahawks in 2024.

Barner operated as the Seahawks' No. 2 tight end behind Noah Fant. The rookie fourth-round pick managed to finish third among all Seahawks pass-catchers with four touchdowns despite never recording more than 34 yards in a game. Fant has one year remaining on his contract, meaning Barner will likely serve as the No. 2 tight end again in 2025.

  • Pharaoh Brown TE | ARI

Seahawks' Pharaoh Brown: Single-digit catches in 2024

Brown recorded eight catches (on 12 targets) for 65 yards over 15 games with the Seahawks in 2024.

Brown averaged 16.3 offensive snaps per game, finishing behind both Noah Fant and rookie fourth-round pick AJ Barner. The 30-year-old tight end will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so he may end up on his fifth team in four years.

  • Tyler Higbee TE | LAR

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Ready for divisional round

Higbee (chest) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's divisional-round game in Philadelphia, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Higbee was forced out in the second quarter of Monday's wild-card win versus the Vikings due to a chest injury that required a visit to the hospital. Fortunately for the tight end, he was able to travel back to Los Angeles with his teammates, and he followed up a limited listing Wednesday with a capped session Thursday and a full practice to end the week, thereby clearing him for the second round of the playoffs. Higbee may find the sledding tough Sunday against an Eagles defense that has conceded the fewest YPT (5.71) to opposing TEs this season.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Set for divisional round

Goedert (illness) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's divisional-round game versus the Rams.

After missing Thursday's practice due to an illness, Goedert was back on the field Friday, when he was deemed a limited participant. However, the ailment won't stop him from being available to the Eagles offense Sunday against a Los Angeles defense that has given up the most catches (114) and fifth-most TD receptions (eight) to opposing tight ends in 18 outings between the regular season and playoffs.

  • Eric Saubert TE | SEA

49ers' Eric Saubert: Solid in backup role

Saubert recorded 11 receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown across 17 games this season.

The veteran tight end was brought in to serve as a reliable backup to superstar tight end George Kittle in 2024. Saubert filled that role well, providing his usual strong blocking and sure hands while making two spot-starts for San Francisco. The 31-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent after completing his one-year deal with the 49ers.

  • Texans' Teagan Quitoriano: Ruled out for Saturday

The Texans announced Friday that Quitoriano (calf) has been downgraded to out for Saturday's divisional-round road game against the Chiefs.

Quitoriano was initially labeled as questionable for the AFC divisional round, but he won't be activated from IR in time to suit up versus Kansas City. His 21-day practice window is nearing its conclusion, so even if Houston emerges victorious over Kansas City, it's unclear whether Quitoriano will have a chance to return down the stretch during the playoffs.
