Foster Moreau TE | NO
Saints' Foster Moreau: Missing offseason program
Head coach Kellen Moore told reporters Thursday that Moreau (knee) won't participate in the team's offseason program, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Moreau is still recovering from the knee injury sustained in early January, so it's no surprise he'll be sidelined for the Saints' offseason activities. Since coming over from Las Vegas ahead of the 2023 season, Moreau has appeared in 32 regular-season games, recording 53 receptions for 606 yards and six touchdowns. He played 711 offensive snaps in 2024 -- the second-most of his career -- so once he returns from injury, Moreau is likely to compete for a role as one of the Saints' top vertical threats at tight end.

Taysom Hill TE | NO
Saints' Taysom Hill: Won't take part in OTAs
Saints head coach Kellen Moore said Thursday that Hill (ACL) and Foster Moreau (knee) are both rehabbing and will miss OTAs and mandatory minicamp, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Hill is recovering from a late-season left ACL tear suffered last December, making it no guarantee that he's ready for the start of training camp either. The 34-year-old carries a cap hit of nearly $18 million for 2025, including a non-guaranteed $10 million base salary, so he also still seems a likely candidate to have his contract restructured or become a cap casualty. With both Hill and Moreau sidelined, Juwan Johnson, who inked a three-year extension with New Orleans in March, will take first-team TE reps and get to build chemistry with both Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler during the offseason program. Jake Haener (oblique) also is part of this team's three-way quarterback competition, but he may miss the remainder of offseason activities due to a recent injury.

Colston Loveland TE | CHI
Bears' Colston Loveland: Remains sidelined at OTAs
Loveland (shoulder) is present for Thursday's practice at OTAs but is not participating, Kevin Fishbain and Adam Jahns of The Athletic report.
Loveland remains sidelined due to the shoulder surgery he underwent in January to address a right Type V AC Joint dislocation. The injury prevented him from working out at the combine and participating in rookie minicamp, so the next major checkpoint for Loveland's recovery will be mandatory minicamp from June 3-5, at which time he's expected to increase his participation level. All expectations remain that the rookie No. 10 overall pick will be a full-go for training camp. Once he's healthy, Loveland's draft capital and rare pass-catching ability should allow him to quickly emerge as one of Chicago's top targets, though it's difficult to project exactly how looks from Caleb Williams (wrist) will be distributed between him, DJ Moore, Rome Odunze and Luther Burden (undisclosed).

Patrick Murtagh TE | DEN
Patrick Murtagh: Waived by Jacksonville
Murtagh was waived by the Jaguars on Thursday.
The tight end appears to be healthy again since he was let go with no injury designation. Murtagh signed with the Jags in April 2024 through the NFL's International Player Pathway Program and then broke his ankle during a training camp goal-line drill. The former track athlete and Australian rules football player will now have to look elsewhere for his next NFL opportunity.

Quintin Morris TE | JAC
Jaguars' Quintin Morris: Signs with Jacksonville
Morris signed a one-year deal with the Jaguars on Wednesday, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
Morris is headed to Jacksonville after hauling in five passes for 36 yards and a touchdown in 16 regular-season games for the Bills last season. The 26-year-old can add value as both a blocker and on special teams.

Caden Prieskorn TE | TB
Caden Prieskorn: Let go by Detroit
Prieskorn was waived by the Lions on Monday.
The tight end initially signed with the Lions as an undrafted free agent after the draft, but he was cut to make room for Luke Deal after the team's rookie minicamp over the weekend, per Jeff Risdon of USA Today. Prieskorn caught 57 passes for 850 yards and seven touchdowns in 23 games at Ole Miss, but he projects more as a run blocker in the pros due to his physicality and lack of speed.

Cole Fotheringham TE | NE
Broncos' Cole Fotheringham: Heading to Denver
Fotheringham signed with the Broncos on Monday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
The tight end spent time on the Raiders' and Texans' practice squads in 2024, but he did not get elevated for any regular-season games. His only NFL experience to date came in 2023 with the Raiders, when he appeared in two games and caught one pass for six yards. Fotheringham faces a crowded field of players competing for roster spots in Denver's tight end group, including free-agent signing Evan Engram, 2024 contributors Adam Trautman, Lucas Krull and Nate Adkins, and 2025 seventh-round pick Caleb Lohner.

Thomas Yassmin TE | LAC
Thomas Yassmin: Waived by Denver
Yassmin was waived by the Broncos on Monday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
The tight end from Sydney, Australia signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent May 11 of last year, hung on with the team through 2024 as a member of its practice squad and signed a reserve/future contract in January. Now, he'll have to look elsewhere for his next opportunity. In 2023, his final collegiate season at Utah, Yassmin caught eight passes for 89 yards and a touchdown across five games.

Colston Loveland TE | CHI
Bears' Colston Loveland: Not ready for rookie minicamp
Loveland (shoulder) is not participating in on-field work at rookie minicamp Friday as he continues to rehab from surgery undergone in January, Scott Bair of Marquee Sports Network reports.
Loveland, the 10th overall pick of April's draft, is present at rookie minicamp and building familiarity with Chicago's offensive scheme and new quarterback Caleb Williams (wrist), but the tight end's workout availability is currently limited to running and controlled lifting, per Bair. The rookie first-rounder is expected to be ready for increased participation in mandatory minicamp in early June and to be fully cleared for training camp in July. Loveland is a capable blocker at 6-foot-6, 260-pounds, but he figures to make his largest impact as a mismatch in the receiving game, though DJ Moore, Rome Odunze and rookie second-round pick Luther Burden represent plenty of competition for targets. Cole Kmet played 87 percent of snaps last season and has two years remaining on the four-year, $50 million deal he inked with Chicago in 2023, but Loveland boasts the draft capital and skillset to push for the No. 1 role before long.

Colin Granger TE | CAR
Colin Granger: Waived with injury settlement
Carolina waived Granger (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Thursday.
If he clears waivers, Granger will be a free agent and can look for an opportunity elsewhere. Granger is a former college basketball player who has never played a down of football. He's merely a developmental project.
