The Seahawks listed Sullivan as a receiver after selecting him in the seventh round of last week's draft and are expected to have him begin his career at that position, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

The 6-foot-5, 248-pound Sullivan played wideout at LSU during most of his time in college, but he spent most of his senior season at tight end, recording 12 receptions for 130 yards. While he may need to drop some weight if the Seahawks are serious about using him at receiver, Sullivan should at least have a better path to making the roster at that position than at tight end. Seattle already boasts four fairly established tight ends in Greg Olsen, Will Dissly, Jacob Hollister and Luke Willson and added another tight end through the draft in fourth-round pick Colby Parkinson, so Sullivan likely wouldn't have found himself any higher than fifth or sixth in the pecking order.

Engram (foot) was spotted running on a treadmill Wednesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

It's unclear whether Engram is still using his walking boot when he's not working out, but his activity is nonetheless a positive progression in his rehab from a late-December Lisfranc surgery. The speedy tight end is still awaiting for word whether his fifth-year option will be picked up, though the 2017 first-round pick is generally expected to be retained through 2021 thanks to his strong production when he's been healthy enough to play.

Wilcox signed with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Wilcox wasn't selected over the course of the 2020 NFL Draft after recording 28 catches for 350 yards and five touchdowns in his senior year at South Florida. The 23-year-old figures to be competing for a depth spot at tight end during training camp.

The Browns are exercising their fifth-year option on Njoku, who was a first-round pick in 2017, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

GM Andrew Berry suggested in February that this would likely be the decision, but it no longer seemed like a sure thing after the Browns signed Austin Hooper and drafted Harrison Bryant in the fourth round. A fifth-year option is guaranteed for injury only, so this doesn't actually ensure Njoku will be under contract beyond 2020. While trade rumors figure to persist, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram relays that Berry has been adamant about Njoku being part of the big-picture plan in Cleveland. New head coach Kevin Stefanski is coming over from Minnesota, where his 2019 Vikings offense used 12 personnel (one RB, two TEs) at the second-highest rate in the league, per NFL.com's Michael Fabiano. Given their deep group of tight ends as well as the shaky depth behind Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry at wide receiver, the 2020 Browns likely will rely on multi-TE formations on early downs.

Njoku is still viewed as part of the Browns' plans following the NFL Draft, Marla Ridnour of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

The Browns are expected to involve their tight ends more this season under new head coach Kevin Stefanski, which suggests Njoku should be safe. However, they added Austin Hooper in free agency and then drafted Florida Atlantic tight end Harrison Bryant in the fourth round (115th overall) in the draft. That creates a whiff of uncertainty regarding Njoku's role in 2020 and long-term standing with the organization. "David has always been and continues to be in our plans," said general manager Andrew Berry, who did not directly address picking up Njoku's fifth-year option but added he's "part of our long-term plans." The tight end enters his fourth season, and the Browns must decide on the option prior to May 3. Njoku was limited to four games in 2019 due to a broken wrist.

Hill has signed a contract extension with the Saints, Amie Just of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Per Just, the deal is "essentially a one-year extension to the first-round tender the Saints placed on Hill in free agency." In that context, Adam Schefter of ESPN relays that Sunday's agreement with the QB effectively amounts to a one-year, $16.3 million extension. Hill is thus slated to remain in the New Orleans signal-caller mix through the 2021 campaign. This coming season, he'll continue to work behind long-term starter Drew Brees as well garner touches in the team's offense as a gadget player. Additionally, the Saints are reportedly on the verge of adding free agent Jameis Winston.

Ellefson is expected to sign with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Ellefson spent his collegiate career at North Dakota State and caught 15 passes for 199 yards and five touchdowns in 15 games during his senior season.

Sutton will sign with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Sutton spent the last two seasons at Fresno State and caught nine passes for 154 yards in 10 games during his career. He profiles as a potential red-zone threat at 6-foot-6, 226 pounds.

The Seahawks selected Sullivan in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 251st overall.

Seattle traded back into the draft to nab Sullivan out of LSU, making him the second tight end selected by the club on Day 3 of the draft, joining Colby Parkinson out of Stanford. It was surprising to see Sullivan get drafted before LSU teammate Thaddeus Moss, but Sullivan's profile is intriguing. He's 6-foot-5 and 248 pounds with 35.38-inch arms, and with his 123-inch broad jump and 36.5-inch vertical, Sullivan has a rare catch radius. His production lagged at LSU, as he never recorded more than 363 receiving yards in a season. Sullivan started out as a receiver before moving to tight end, so he's still a project in terms of learning the position. Still, his physical traits make him worthy of a late-round flier.

The Jaguars selected Davis in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 206th overall.

Davis played a part-time role during his four-year career at Georgia Tech, never amassing more than 22 catches in a season. He notched 17 catches for 148 yards and one touchdown as a senior in 2019. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end now stands to compete for a depth role as a blocker in Jacksonville.
