Fortson reeled in his two targets for seven yards and a touchdown Sunday versus the Chargers.

Fortson's receptions give him three in the last two weeks, though his snap counts (no more than seven) reveal that he remains primarily involved in very specific formations and red-zone work. He's still behind each of the other three tight ends in terms of snap share and figures to remain that way. However, Fortson's production, when he's called upon, should put him in the good graces of the coaching staff.

Moreau caught one of two targets for eight yards in Sunday's 31-28 overtime victory over the Dolphins.

Moreau has tallied three receptions for 42 yards and a score on five targets over the past two weeks, and he's logged at least 37 offensive snaps in all three of the Raiders' wins. He's the obvious No. 2 option at tight end behind Darren Waller, though fullback Alec Ingold vultured a one-yard touchdown catch against Miami.

Smythe failed to secure his lone target during Sunday's overtime loss to the Raiders.

Smythe occupies a clear back seat behind top receiving tight end Mike Gesicki, who earned 12 targets from fill-in quarterback Jacoby Brissett in Week 3. Though the fourth-year pro has proven a relatively capable receiver when called upon, the presence of Gesicki deprives him of any chance at seeing regular opportunities. Even in most fantasy formats that feature multiple starting TEs, Smythe can safely be left on the waiver wire.

Pruitt recorded one reception on one target for seven yards in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Colts.

Pruitt was on the field for just over half of the team's offensive snaps as Anthony Firkser (knee) remained sidelined. His only reception of the game came relatively late in the fourth quarter, when he converted a first down to keep alive a drive that ultimately resulted in a field goal. Pruitt is primarily utilized as a blocker, though he did log three receptions in Week 2 against Seattle.

Ertz caught four of seven targets for 53 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 41-21 loss to the Cowboys.

Ertz ranked second on the Eagles in all major receiving categories and added a three-yard touchdown in the third quarter to bolster his performance. That score actually marked Ertz' first end-zone trip since Week 1 of last season, but it was good to see him back involved in Philadelphia's offense, even though he flirted with disaster on a drop that was nearly intercepted for a touchdown early. While fellow tight end Dallas Goedert led the Eagles with 66 receiving yards, Ertz nonetheless takes some momentum into Week 4's meeting with Kansas City.

Schultz caught six of seven targets for 80 yards and two touchdowns in Monday night's 41-21 win over the Eagles.

Schultz led the Cowboys in all major receiving categories, scoring a couple of times along the way. The tight end's first touchdown came on a wide-open 19-yarder in the first quarter, then Schultz showed niftiness running after the catch on his 22-yard score in the fourth. Through three games, the veteran has now hauled in 14 of 15 targets thrown his way, making him a dependable option for Dak Prescott, but the presence of so many playmakers within Dallas' offense limits Schultz's weekly upside.

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Kittle has a sore calf and will be day-to-day, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Kittle logged all 70 offensive snaps during Sunday's 30-28 loss to the Packers en route to team highs in catches (seven) and receiving yards (92) on nine targets. He almost doubled up his stat line (8-95-0) on the season prior to Week 3 in the process, but he also emerged from the contest with a health concern. Considering Shanahan's comments, Kittle likely will be limited in practice when the 49ers post their first injury report of the week Wednesday, after which his status bears watching for next Sunday's divisional showdown with the Seahawks.

Hollister caught two of six targets for 15 yards during Sunday's 31-19 loss to the Cardinals.

The 27-year-old led Jacksonville's tight ends by playing 68 percent of the offensive snaps, and he ended up having two of his targets intercepted, including one that was a clear drop. It was Hollister's first game action of the season after signing with the Jags in early September, and his audition for the starting role didn't go particularly well. Dan Arnold was acquired from the Panthers on Monday and should be in the mix to start at tight end with James O'Shaughnessy (ankle) on injured reserve for the foreseeable future.

Manhertz wasn't targeted and played 25 offensive snaps during Sunday's 31-19 loss to Arizona.

The 29-year-old received the start at tight end with James O'Shaughnessy (knee) on injured reserve, but Jacob Hollister ended up leading the position group with 46 offensive snaps. Hollister caught only two of six targets for 15 yards, while Luke Farrell played only 17 snaps and caught his lone target for minus-1 yard. The Jaguars clearly were unhappy with what they were seeing out of their tight ends and opted to acquire Dan Arnold from the Panthers on Monday, who will be a candidate to immediately take over the starting role.

Smith brought in his lone target for nine yards in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Falcons.

Smith was limited in practice during the week due to a knee injury, but he handled a normal workload in Sunday's loss. Evan Engram and Kyle Rudolph were each on the field for more offensive snaps than Smith against the Falcons, and the 24-year-old has had a limited role in the passing game to begin the year with just three receptions for 33 yards across the first three weeks of the season.
