  • T.J. Hockenson TE | MIN

Lions' T.J. Hockenson: Usage back to expected levels

Hockenson caught four of eight targets for 42 yards during Sunday's 24-14 loss to Chicago.

This probably wasn't the rebound fantasy managers wanted to see from Hockenson after he caught just two of two targets for 10 yards last week. However, outside of that Week 3 dud, Hockenson has averaged over nine targets per game, which would rank higher than any other tight end not named Travis Kelce or Darren Waller. As one of the busiest tight ends in the game, Hockenson will look to get back on track in Week 5 against a Vikings team that could pile up points on Detroit's underwhelming defense.

  • Cole Kmet TE | CHI

Bears' Cole Kmet: Targeted three times

Kmet caught one pass for six yards in the Bears' 24-14 win over the Lions on Sunday.

With Chicago leading throughout, Justin Fields threw the ball just 17 times, and Kmet was second on the team with three targets, but he didn't turn his chances into useful production. He's now caught three passes for 17 yards over his last three games, and unless his role changes or the team's passing game improves, he won't be a recommended fantasy option.

  • Travis Kelce TE | KC

Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Quiet as Hill shines

Kelce caught four of six targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 42-30 win over the Eagles.

Kelce was uncharacteristically quiet in this one, as the Chiefs featured fellow elite playmaker Tyreek Hill (11 catches for 186 yards and three touchdowns). The tight end's six targets still ranked second on the team behind Hill's 12 while nobody else had more than three. Kelce remains the cream of the crop at the tight end position and should bounce back in prime time against the Bills in Week 5.

  • Tommy Hudson TE | NO

Titans' Tommy Hudson: Injures ankle Sunday

Hudson (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Jets, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.

Hudson has to be carted off the field, so his return to the contest is unlikely. The 24-year-old tight end mostly operates on special teams, so his absence shouldn't affect Tennessee's offensive rotation.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: Active Sunday

Kittle (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Keiana Martin of the 49ers' official site reports.

Kittle tended to swelling and soreness in his calf following the 49ers' Week 3 loss to the Packers, and the tight end managed just one limited practice during Week 4 prep. Adam Schefter of ESPN proceeded to report Sunday morning that Kittle was expected to play through the issue, and indeed he'll be out there for this key NFC West matchup. In seven career appearances versus Seattle, Kittle has 28 catches (on 41 targets) for 341 yards, but he's still in search of his first TD against the Seahawks.

  • Logan Thomas TE | SF

Football Team's Logan Thomas: Ruled out of Sunday's game

Thomas (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's contest in Atlanta.

Thomas was visibly frustrated when he left the game in the first quarter. After having his right leg examined in the sideline medical tent, Washington has opted to shut him down for the rest of Week 4. In Thomas' stead, the team will turn to Ricky Seals-Jones and rookie John Bates at tight end.

  • Logan Thomas TE | SF

Football Team's Logan Thomas: Picks up hamstring injury

Thomas left Sunday's game in Atlanta with a hamstring injury.

Thomas limped to the sideline in the first quarter and had his right leg examined by team trainers before paying a visit to the blue medical tent, per Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post. As long as Thomas is out of the contest, Washington will have Ricky Seals-Jones and rookie fourth-rounder John Bates at tight end.

  • Tyler Kroft TE | MIA

Jets' Tyler Kroft: Good to go Sunday

Kroft (rib) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans, Randy Lange of the Jets' official site reports.

Though Kroft took a questionable designation into the weekend, the Jets never seemed to have too much concern about his availability after he turned in a full practice Friday. Through the Jets' first three contests, Kroft has paced the team's tight ends in snaps, but he has only six receptions for 46 yards and no touchdowns on nine targets to show for it.

  • Kaden Smith TE | WAS

Giants' Kaden Smith: Will play against New Orleans

Smith (knee) is active for Sunday's contest against the Saints, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official website reports.

Smith has been listed on the Giants' injury report with a knee issue ahead of every game this season, but he has yet to sit out. The 24-year-old tight end has caught all three of his targets for 33 yards this year. He will likely continue to play a marginal role behind Evan Engram and Kyle Rudolph during Week 4.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: On track to play Sunday

Kittle (calf), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Official confirmation of Kittle's status will arrive once the 49ers release their inactive list prior to the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday. Kittle has told teammates throughout the week that he intends to play through the injury, and while he appears set to do so, fantasy managers will want to see that prediction come to pass before locking him into Week 4 lineups.
