The Saints released Stoll and then signed him to their practice squad Wednesday, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Stoll signed with the Saints during the offseason but failed to make the initial roster. He'll start the year on the practice squad, though he's a candidate to be elevated to the active roster given the team's injury situation at the position.

The Chargers signed Yassmin to their practice squad Wednesday.
Yassmin wasn't able to earn a spot on the Chargers' final 53-man roster, but he'll stick around with the club as a member of the practice squad. He spent the 2024 season on the Broncos' practice squad and still hasn't made his regular-season NFL debut.

Sean McKeon: Gets spot on practice squad
McKeon signed with the Colts' practice squad Wednesday.
The tight end was released Tuesday after falling short of the 53-man roster, and after clearing waivers, he finds himself in the same spot where he spent the entire 2024 season: on the Colts' practice squad. McKeon last saw NFL regular-season action in 2023 with Dallas, and he last caught a pass in a regular-season game the year before that, also with Dallas.

Redman signed with the Rams' practice squad Wednesday.
Redman spent all of preseason with the Rams but lost his roster spot on cutdown day. He'll now rejoin the team and serve as roster depth in the short term.

Maximilian Mang: Sticking with Indy
Mang signed to the Colts' practice squad Wednesday.
The tight end out of Syracuse was cut Tuesday after missing out on the Colts' 53-man roster, but he went unclaimed on waivers and was able to stay in Indianapolis. Indy's tight end room is led by first-round pick Tyler Warren and veteran blocker Mo Alie-Cox. At 6-foot-7 and 267 pounds, Mang could perhaps make an impact as a run blocker if gets called up this season.

Zach Horton: Lands on practice squad
Horton signed with the Lions' practice squad Wednesday.
Horton operated at tight end and at full back in college, and he finished his senior season with just 21 catches for 189 yards and four touchdowns. If he ends up getting a chance in the NFL, it will likely be due to his blocking abilities.

Zaire Mitchell-Paden: Lands on Baltimore's practice squad
The Ravens signed Mitchell-Paden to the practice squad Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.
Mitchell-Paden spent most of last season on the Ravens' practice squad, and he'll reprise that same role for the start of the 2025 campaign after logging one catch for 11 yards across three preseason games. He'll provide the Ravens depth at tight end should Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely (foot) or Charlie Kolar miss any time.

Scott was not claimed on waivers after being let go by the team Tuesday, and he will now stay in New England as a member of the practice unit. The tight end will look to earn an elevation to the active roster and make his NFL debut in 2025.
