Chargers head coach Brandon Staley said Parham (hamstring) was a full participant during Wednesday's practice, Bridget Condon of NFL Network reports.

Parham logged his first full practice Friday ahead of Week 4, but the team opted to still keep the tight end sidelined for the Chargers' win over the Texans out of an abundance of caution. Barring any setbacks, it appears Parham will make his season debut in Week 5 against the Browns, but it's unclear what his role will be. Gerald Everett has emerged as Los Angeles' top tight end, but Parham figures to carve out a role ahead of Tre' McKitty and Richard Rodgers.

Pitts isn't participating in the open portion of practice Wednesday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Health is the one thing that's gone right for Pitts this season, while his target volume (5.5 per game) and per-target efficiency (6.8 YPT, 45.5 percent catch rate) have left much to be desired in an offense quarterbacked by a struggling Marcus Mariota. No injury has been reported, but that's the most likely explanation for the tight end's absence Wednesday. If it's nothing serious, Pitts should see more looks this coming Sunday against a stout Tampa Bay defense that typically faces a lot of passes and not as many runs.

The Browns are expected to sign Brown (hip/shoulder) on Wednesday if he passes his physical, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The Texans released Brown on Tuesday after he was inactive for Week 4 due to hip and shoulder injuries. The move was a surprise, given he signed a one-year, $3 million deal in March and started each of the team's first three games, catching seven of 10 targets for 72 yards. If he passes his physical, the undrafted tight end will rejoin the Browns, for whom he caught two passes across nine appearances during the 2019 campaign.

The Texans signed Eubanks to their practice squad Wednesday, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Eubanks was waived by the Bengals ahead of the 53-man roster deadline, but he'll get a new opportunity with Houston via the practice squad. The undrafted tight end out of Michigan has spent time with the Eagles, Lions and Bengals since joining the league in 2021, but he's yet to make his NFL debut. The move comes one day after the club released Pharaoh Brown, who eventually signed with Cleveland.

Jordan (ankle) isn't participating in Wednesday's practice, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Jordan is still considered day-to-day, but he's starting off a third straight week as a non-participant in practice. His absence allowed O.J. Howard to operate as Houston's top tight end Week 4, and the Texans have since released Pharaoh Brown (hip/shoulder), who started in the first three games of the season before sitting out last week's loss to the Chargers.

Smith was diagnosed Wednesday with a low-ankle sprain and is considered week-to-week, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

A high-ankle sprain would have necessitated a longer recovery timeline, but Smith's low-ankle injury looks as though it'll still be enough to keep him on the sideline for one game. He suffered the injury in Sunday's overtime loss to the Packers, playing just 17 snaps before departing. Though Smith has turned in only seven receptions for 58 yards on 11 targets through four games, his absence should at least clear the way for Hunter Henry to absorb a larger share of the snaps and targets available at tight end. New England doesn't currently have another healthy tight end on the roster beyond Henry, so expect the team to add a body to the position group in advance of this weekend's game against Detroit.

Fortson turned his lone target into a 10-yard touchdown reception in Sunday's 41-31 win over the Buccaneers.

All three of Kansas City's tight ends finished with touchdowns on the night, as top option Travis Kelce scored on a 16-yard connection with Patrick Mahomes in the first quarter, while Noah Gray took a direct snap for a one-yard score in the second quarter. Fortson then provided the Chiefs' final touchdown of the night in the third quarter, marking the second time he's found the end zone this season. He's now scored on both of his receptions this season, but he's drawn just three targets in total through four games.

Though the tight end couldn't corral his lone target on the night, he found paydirt for the first time this season when he motioned in front of quarterback Patrick Mahomes and plunged across the goal line on a direct snap. All three of the Chiefs' tight ends finished the game with six points, as Travis Kelce and Jody Fortson both recorded receiving touchdowns. Moving forward, Gray and Fortson will likely continue to function mostly as blockers whenever they're on the field.

Hendershot failed to see a target in Sunday's 25-10 win over the Commanders.

Hendershot reverted back to his role as the Cowboys' No. 3 tight end with the return of starter Dalton Schultz after a one-game absence. Hendershot played just four offensive snaps Sunday, while Schultz was featured with 55 snaps, and Jake Ferguson was in on 17 snaps of his own. Barring injuries to either teammate, Hendershot should remain far off the fantasy radar when the Cowboys visit the Rams in Week 5.

Ferguson returned to his depth role in the tight end ranks with the return of starter Dalton Schultz after a one-game absence. The rookie played just 28 percent of the Cowboys' offensive snaps and was unable to get going with limited work. Barring another injury to Schultz, Ferguson should continue to operate as the team's top backup at tight end. The 23-year-old should be ignored for fantasy purposes as the Cowboys visit the Rams in Week 5.
