Mims signed a reserve/future contract with the Saints on Monday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Mims spent the 2023 campaign on and off of the Saints' practice squad, failing to record any stats while garnering two targets over three offensive snaps in two games with the active roster. The running back will stick around New Orleans for the offseason and will have a chance to earn a spot on the 53-man roster ahead of the 2024 season.

The Panthers signed Boone to a reserve/future contract Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Boone started the season on the Texans active roster. He played nine games with Houston and finished with 63 scrimmage yards on 12 touches before being let go by the team Dec. 18. Boone signed with the Panthers' practice squad Jan. 2, and with his new contract, he will have an opportunity to make Carolina's 53-man roster for the 2024 season.

The Panthers signed Cohen to a reserve/future contract Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Cohen joined the Panthers' practice squad Sept. 12 after recovering from a May 2022 right Achilles tear. He was not elevated to the active roster and has not played an NFL game since the 2020 season. The 2017 fourth-round pick will have an opportunity to make the Panthers' 53-man roster for the 2024 season.

The Seahawks signed Koback to a reserve/future contract Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Koback began last season on Seattle's practice squad before joining the Eagles' practice squad in mid-September. He was subsequently cut by Philadelphia before finding himself back on the Seahawks' practice squad in late October. The running back has yet to log an NFL snap after gaining 1,734 yards from scrimmage and scoring 18 touchdowns over 13 games with Toledo in his final collegiate season in 2021. Koback is now set to compete for a roster spot during training camp next season.

The Saints signed Robinson due to a reserve/future contract Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Robinson is a four-year veteran with 2,264 career regular-season rushing yards to his name, though nearly half of those came in his rookie season in 2020. An Achilles tear suffered in Week 16 of 2021 derailed his once-promising career, and the Illinois State product has played in only 12 games over the past two seasons, spending almost all of 2023 on Green Bay's practice squad. Robinson joined New Orleans' practice squad in mid-December, and the organization apparently liked what they saw from him enough to want to give him a shot at making the roster next year, though it remains to be seen how much Robinson has left in the tank.

The Jets signed Patrick to a reserve/future contract Monday.

Patrick landed with the Jets' practice squad Dec. 19 after being cut by the Titans on Oct. 24. He'll have a shot to crack New York's 53-man roster for the 2024 season.

Mason took six carries for 36 yards and caught his only target for 12 yards in Sunday's 21-20 loss to the Rams.

MVP hopeful Christian McCaffrey (calf) was rested Week 18, so primary backup Elijah Mitchell started Sunday's tilt. Mason wound up logging 27 snaps on offense (44 percent) to Mitchell's 32 (52 percent). While both tailbacks nearly split McCaffrey's playing time Sunday, Mitchell (14-52-1) wound up having more plays executed for him and also nabbed the only touchdown the backfield duo would produce in the loss. Mason wraps up the 2023 campaign with numbers (40-206-3) similar to his rookie year (43-258-1) while also serving as one of the 49ers' top coverage men on special teams.

Penny was more involved than he had been all season for the Eagles on Sunday but managed a modest 16 yards on six carries at the Giants.

Penny's signing generated some intrigue over the offseason, with the thought that a change of scenery could help the oft-injured running back. Instead, he was almost a complete non-factor, seeing the field for only 30 offensive snaps all season. Twenty of those came Week 18, with D'Andre Swift out due to illness and the Eagles resting several starters in the second half.

Scott rushed three times for five yards in Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Giants.

The result was another uneventful game for the sixth-year running back, and it's fair to wonder whether he has a future with the Eagles given that he received just 24 touches (20 carries and four receptions) all season.

Jackson signed a reserve/future contract with the Giants on Monday, Charlotte Carroll of The Athletic reports.

Jackson made appearances with the Colts and Browns this season, before ultimately finding his way to the Giants. The Duke product ended up totaling four appearances on the year, with 14 carries for 16 yards and five catches on six targets for 14 more yards through the air. He'll now have an opportunity to carve out a bigger role next season in New York.
