Carson Steele RB | PHI
Chiefs' Carson Steele: Earns spot on initial roster
Steele has a spot on Kansas City's initial 53-man roster, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The 225-pound undrafted rookie was a preseason standout, taking 11 carries for 87 yards and two touchdowns. The team lists him at fullback on its depth chart, and coach Andy Reid mentioned the possibility of using him in that role, but Steele mostly lined up as a lone running back during the preseason. There's potential to earn snaps and touches early on, as Kansas City has a weak group of running backs beyond Isiah Pacheco and could do some shuffling in the coming days to fill the other backup spots.

Zavier Scott WR | MIN
Zavier Scott: Let go by Indy
The Colts waived Scott on Tuesday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Scott initially inked with Indianapolis as an UDFA last year, but he missed time with a meniscus tear before eventually landing on the team's practice squad. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, he figures to be a candidate for a practice squad spot once again.

D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
D'Onta Foreman: Let go by Browns
Foreman's contract was terminated by the Browns on Tuesday, Kelsey Russo of the team's official site reports.
Following the move to cut Foreman, Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong are the only two running backs on the Browns' initial 53-man roster. Look for the team to make additional moves to bolster the backfield, however. As for Foreman, he's now a free agent, but it's plausible that Cleveland could elect to bring him back in the coming days, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

George Holani RB | SEA
George Holani: Cut by Seattle
The Seahawks waived Holani on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Holani signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Boise State in April. He was reportedly making a move for the No. 3 job this summer, but the Seahawks are cutting him after Holani rushed 15 times for 66 yards and two touchdowns. He added three catches for 15 yards. Holani could be a candidate for the practice squad.

Jalen Jackson RB | JAC
Jalen Jackson: Doesn't make cut
Jackson was waived by the Jaguars on Tuesday.
Jackson linked up with Jacksonville after going undrafted out of Villanova in April. His ability to stick with the team until final cuts may bode well for future opportunities with the franchise.

Gary Brightwell RB | CIN
Gary Brightwell: Comes up short
Brightwell was waived by the Jaguars on Tuesday.
Brightwell had his time with the Giants end due to a hamstring injury in June but eventually found his way to Jacksonville in early August. However, the Arizona product was unable to force his way up the team's positional depth charts and secure a spot on their final 53-man roster.

Deneric Prince RB | NE
Deneric Prince: Let go by KC
Kansas City has waived Prince, according to Jesse Newell of the Kansas City Star.
With Prince not slated to be included on the team's initial 53-man roster, Carson Steele appears to have secured a depth role in the backfield behind Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Prince could still land on Kansas City's practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

Frank Gore Jr. RB | BUF
Frank Gore: Cut by Buffalo
The Bills waived Gore (knee) on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The son of longtime NFL running back Frank Gore, the Southern Miss product went undrafted in April before signing with the Bills. Gore was impressive during the preseason, rushing for 163 yards and one touchdown on 33 carries while adding four grabs for an additional 16 yards. It wasn't enough to claim a 53-man roster spot behind James Cook and fourth-round rookie Ray Davis, but there's a good chance Gore is either claimed or lands a job on a practice squad.

Chris Collier RB | LV
Chris Collier: Won't make 53-man roster
Collier was waived by the Ravens on Tuesday.
Collier joined Baltimore as an undrafted free agent out of Lock Haven in April. The 24-year-old was able to stick with the team until final cuts, which may bode well for a potential second opportunity with the team in the future.

Tyler Badie RB | DEN
Tyler Badie: Doesn't make final cut
Badie was waived by the Broncos on Tuesday, Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post reports.
Badie has been a regular on Denver's practice squad each of the last two seasons and signed a reserve/future contract with the team in January. Now, he'll likely have to find another practice squad opportunity,
