Keaton Mitchell RB | LAC
Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Set to resume practicing
Mitchell (knee) is in line to return to practice this week, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Mitchell, who suffered an ACL tear last December, is on the PUP list, but once he's back at practice, the running back's 21-day window for reinstatement to the 53-man roster will open. Per Mink, Mitchell will likely need a multi-week ramp-up period before returning to game action, but once the 22-year-old is deemed ready, he'll provide the Ravens with backfield depth behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill.

Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Returning to practice
Head coach Shane Steichen said that Taylor (ankle) will practice Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Taylor hasn't practiced or played since sustaining a right high-ankle sprain Week 4, so his looming return to the field Wednesday offers hope that the star running back could return to action Sunday against the Texans. The team's upcoming injury report will reveal the extent of Taylor's participation in Wednesday's session, but if he's available this weekend, he would be in line to reclaim the lead role in a Colts backfield that has been led by Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson over the past three games.

Nyheim Miller-Hines RB | NO
Browns' Nyheim Hines: Won't play vs. Ravens
Coach Kevin Stefanski said Wednesday that Hines (knee) is out for Week 8 versus Baltimore, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Hines participated fully in practice ahead of Week 7 but ultimately didn't suit up for that contest either, so it's possible injury alone can't fully explain why he isn't active yet. After the long-awaited return of starter Nick Chubb, the Browns now already have four running backs on their active roster, so even if Hines works his way back into the mix soon, he won't be on the fantasy radar for most formats.

Jerome Ford RB | WAS
Browns' Jerome Ford: Not practicing Wednesday
Ford (hamstring) isn't in line to practice Wednesday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Ford, who missed this past Sunday's loss to the Bengals, will have two more opportunities to practice ahead of this weekend's game against the Ravens. If he's available for the contest, Ford would presumably be in line to step into a complementary role in Cleveland's backfield, with Nick Chubb having returned from the PUP list to make his season debut Week 7.

Hassan Haskins RB | LAC
Chargers' Hassan Haskins: Plays behind Dobbins, Vidal
Haskins carried twice for two yards while playing three of the Chargers' 66 snaps on offense in Monday's 17-15 loss to the Cardinals.
Even with Gus Edwards (ankle) having been placed on injured reserve following the Chargers' Week 5 bye, Haskins has remained the No. 3 back on the depth chart. Rookie Kimani Vidal -- who was inactive for the Chargers' first four games -- has stepped into Edwards' role as the top backup to J.K. Dobbins, with Vidal outpacing Haskins in both snaps and touches in both of the past two contests.

Travis Etienne RB | NO
Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Considered day-to-day
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said that Etienne (hamstring) will work with trainers and handle individual drills in Wednesday's practice and is considered day-to-day, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Etienne's hamstring injury forced him to sit out Week 7 against the Patriots, but he was listed as questionable leading up to Jacksonville's win in London. Pederson noted that Etienne had a good week of practice despite Jacksonville erring on the side of caution by holding him out against New England, so the running back should have a better chance at suiting up Sunday versus the Packers, as long as he's able to increase his practice reps Thursday and Friday without any setbacks. Tank Bigsby thrived in the lead role versus New England, recording his second game of the season with over 100 rushing yards, and his third game in the last four weeks with over 90 yards on the ground.

DeeJay Dallas RB | JAC
Cardinals' DeeJay Dallas: Role contained to special teams
Dallas gained 23 yards on his lone kickoff return in Monday's 17-15 win over the Chargers.
Dallas is the fourth running back on Arizona's depth chart behind James Conner, Emari Demercado and Trey Benson, and with all three players above him enjoying good health thus far, the Cardinals haven't needed Dallas' services on offense. All 106 of the snaps Dallas has played this season have come on special teams, where he's settled in as Arizona's top kickoff returner. Through seven games, Dallas has brought back 12 kicks for 378 yards and a touchdown, which came back in the season-opening loss to the Bills.

Emari Demercado RB | KC
Cardinals' Emari Demercado: Quiet in win
Demercado rushed once for 14 yards in Monday's 17-15 win over the Chargers.
Demercado played just six of the Cardinals' 57 offensive snaps Monday, while starter James Conner handled the majority of playing time out of the backfield with 48 snaps. The latter was a major bright spot for Arizona's offense, finishing with 152 yards from scrimmage on 21 total touches on a day in which the Cardinals scored just 17 points in a narrow victory. With Conner dominating the workload with success, Demercado and fellow backup running back Trey Benson won't consistently garner enough opportunities to be relevant for fantasy. The 25-year-old Demercado is best left off the fantasy radar when the Cardinals visit the Dolphins in Week 8.
-
Kimani Vidal RB | LAC
Chargers' Kimani Vidal: Four touches against Cardinals
Vidal rushed three times for 10 yards while also catching his lone target for nine yards in Monday's 17-15 loss to the Cardinals.
Vidal played just 18 of the Chargers 66 offensive snaps Monday, operating as the No. 2 running back behind J.K. Dobbins. The latter dominated in playing time (45 snaps) while also handling 17 touches on his way to 66 total yards from scrimmage. Vidal should continue to play the backup role with Gus Edwards (ankle) on injured reserve, though Dobbins should keep getting the majority of the workload out of the Los Angeles backfield.

Justice Hill RB | BAL
Ravens' Justice Hill: Finds end zone in win
Hill carried five times for four yards while catching all three of his targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 41-31 win over the Buccaneers.
Hill found little success on the ground, but he brought through as a receiver for his second touchdown of the season. Meanwhile, lead back Derrick Henry continued to dominate as a rusher. Despite seeing his role shrink as the season has progressed, the 26-year-old Hill retains a bit of stand-alone value as the No. 2 running back on a strong offense. However, barring an injury to Henry, Hill remains difficult to count on for consistent weekly production.
