Kareem Hunt RB | KC
Chiefs' Kareem Hunt: Scores in win over Raiders
Hunt (hip) rushed 21 times for 58 yards and a touchdown while catching his lone target for four yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over Las Vegas.
Hunt was dealing with a hip injury in practice this week, but he suited up without restrictions in Sunday's win. The veteran tailback eclipsed 20 carries for the third consecutive week since taking over as the starter in Kansas City. With four touchdowns in as many games, Hunt remains a strong fantasy option heading into next Monday's tilt against Tampa Bay.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Shows some burst in loss
Kamara posted 10 carries for 67 yards and gathered in six of 11 targets for 55 yards during Sunday's 26-8 loss to the Chargers.
Kamara added a spark to the listless Saints offense Week 8. The 29-year-old is still working his way back after dealing with a broken hand suffered Week 5 and broken ribs suffered Week 3, but neither appeared to affect him as he logged three explosive plays Sunday. This included a team-long 37-yard reception on a screen pass and a 24-yard carry on which he fought through multiple defenders. Kamara still logged his second-fewest carries of any game this season, and he's now averaged 10.3 rushing attempts and 8.5 targets per game over the last four weeks. While his workload has taken a slight dip recently, Kamara should still play a significant role during next week's game versus the Panthers on Sunday, Nov. 3.

J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN
Chargers' J.K. Dobbins: Gets 21 touches, TD in Week 8 win
Dobbins rushed 17 times for 57 yards and a touchdown while catching four of seven targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 26-8 win over the Saints.
Dobbins scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the season on a one-yard run in the second quarter. He tied for the team lead in targets with Will Dissly, but Ladd McConkey keyed LA's passing offense by catching all six of his targets for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Dobbins has a high touch floor as the clear lead back for the Chargers heading into a Week 9 road game against the Browns.

Zack Moss RB | CIN
Bengals' Zack Moss: Clear second fiddle again Sunday
Moss rushed five times for 11 yards and secured all four targets for 28 yards in the Bengals' 37-17 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
Moss was seven carries behind backfield mate Chase Brown, although he was more involved in the passing game than the latter. Moss's reception total tied for his second highest of the season, and he now has a 7-61 line through the air on seven targets over the last two games. Moss projects for another hard-to-trust complementary role during a Week 9 home matchup against the Raiders.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Handles 16 carries
Chubb rushed the ball 16 times for 52 yards in Sunday's 29-24 win over the Ravens. He failed to record a reception on two targets.
Chubb saw a relatively heavy workload once again, accounting for 16 of the 21 rush attempts out of the team's backfield. As could be expected in a tough matchup, he was largely held in check with his longest rush going for 15 yards early in the second quarter. Chubb hasn't been efficient in his first two games since returning from knee surgery, but he is the lead back in the Browns' offense -- a positive for his outlook moving forward.

Chase Brown RB | CIN
Bengals' Chase Brown: Salvages day with TD
Brown rushed 12 times for 32 yards and a touchdown and brought in two of four targets for four yards in the Bengals' 37-17 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
Brown outpaced Zack Moss by seven carries as the clear lead back, but neither player found much success on the ground. However, Brown did record his fourth rushing touchdown of the season on a four-yard run in the latter portion of the third quarter, and he also managed double-digit carries for the fifth straight game. Brown projects to remain atop Cincinnati's ground attack in a favorable Week 9 home matchup against the Raiders.

Braelon Allen RB | NYJ
Jets' Braelon Allen: TD among 12 carries in Week 8
Allen rushed 12 times for 32 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 25-22 loss to the Patriots. He wasn't targeted in the passing game.
Allen's two-yard rushing touchdown gave the Jets a 22-17 lead with 2:57 remaining, but the Jets failed on their subsequent two-point conversion attempt and the Patriots responded with a game-winning touchdown drive. Breece Hall (16 carries for 80 yards) was far more efficient on the ground, so Allen will likely need to make the most of his opportunities near the goal line to maintain any fantasy relevance. Allen's heavier workload compared to recent weeks may have been an effort to keep Hall fresh since the Jets will be back in action Thursday on a short week against the Texans.

David Montgomery RB | HOU
Lions' David Montgomery: Saves day with early score
Montgomery rushed the ball nine times for 33 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 52-14 win over the Titans. He added on reception on one target for five yards and also recorded a three-yard touchdown pass.
The Lions had an odd game script to work with, as they were handed several short fields by their defense and special teams. Volume was limited across the board, and Montgomery turned in a muted stat line as a result. Still, he found the end zone twice, first with a seven-yard run. He then added a three-yard pass to Sam LaPorta on a trick play just before halftime. Montgomery has at least one touchdown in six of seven games this season, and his role is extremely valuable in the explosive Detroit offense.
-
Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Panthers' Miles Sanders: Heavily involved Sunday
Sanders rushed once for seven yards in Sunday's 28-14 loss to the Broncos. He also caught all seven of his targets for 38 yards.
The 27-year-old running back greatly benefitted from Bryce Young serving as the Panthers' top signal-caller in Week 8, as Sanders saw increased opportunities through the air. He led Carolina in receptions and tied rookie Xavier Legette for the most targets. While Sanders' increased usage Sunday is intriguing, his role is expected to dwindle in the coming weeks with 2024 second-round pick Jonathon Brooks (knee) returning from injury.

Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Ravens' Derrick Henry: Limited involvement in loss
Henry rushed the ball 11 times for 73 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-24 loss to the Browns. He added one reception on one target for four yards.
Henry saw his fewest rushing attempts of the season and his lowest yardage total since Week 1. Baltimore was in a neutral or slightly negative game script for much of the game, but it was still surprising to see the typically run-heavy unit take to the air 38 times as opposed to tallying only 21 rushing attempts. Despite those drawbacks, Henry still managed a decent fantasy performance in large part due to a 39-yard run and two-yard touchdown plunge -- both of which came in the fourth quarter. He has found the end zone in all eight games this season.
