Keaton Mitchell RB | LAC
Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Full practice participant Wednesday
Mitchell (knee) was listed as a full practice participant on Wednesday's injury report.
Keaton began the regular season on the reserve/PUP list while in the final stages of his recovery from a torn ACL in his left knee that he sustained in Week 15 of the 2023 campaign. His 21-day practice window opened Oct. 23, and while he was a limited participant all of last week, he was able to practice without restrictions Wednesday. If he's able to log full practices over the next two days, there's a chance he could be activated off IR and make his 2024 regular-season debut against the Broncos on Sunday. If he does return, Mitchell would serve as the Ravens' No. 3 running back behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill.

Jerome Ford RB | WAS
Browns' Jerome Ford: Another limited practice
Ford (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Ford has missed two straight games, but his limited participation in practices last Friday and to kick off Week 9 prep suggest that he has a chance to suit up this weekend against the Chargers. That said, with Nick Chubb having reclaimed the top job in Cleveland's backfield, Ford's fantasy upside will have taken a notable hit whenever he makes his return to action.

Jakob Johnson RB | HOU
Jakob Johnson: Let go by Big Blue
The Giants cut Johnson from the practice squad Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Johnson last appeared for the Giants in Week 4 against the Cowboys, during which he played 15 snaps (seven on offense, eight on special teams) and did not record a stat. The veteran fullback will look to join a team in need of blocking out of the backfield.

J.J. Taylor RB | HOU
Texans' J.J. Taylor: Signed to active roster
The Texans signed Taylor off the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.
Taylor was elevated by the Texans to the active roster three times this season, and by being signed to the 53-man squad, he'll be able to suit up for Houston again. He'll serve as the Texans' No. 3 running back behind Joe Mixon and Dare Ogunbowale for Thursday's game against the Jets due to Dameon Pierce being ruled out with a groin injury. Taylor has logged seven carries for 21 yards while adding two catches for no gain across his three regular-season outings.

Rasheen Ali RB | BAL
Ravens' Rasheen Ali: Begins week with DNP
Ali (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday.
The rookie running back from Marshall has been sidelined for each of the Ravens' last two games due to an ankle issue, and Wednesday's DNP suggests he could be in jeopardy of missing even more time. Ali likely needs to upgrade to at least limited participation Thursday or Friday in order to suit up for Baltimore's Week 9 matchup against the Broncos.

Zamir White RB | LV
Raiders' Zamir White: Limited by quad injury
White was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a quadricep injury.
White's injury doesn't seem to be a major concern, considering he was still able to practice in some fashion after head coach Antonio Pierce expressed a desire earlier Wednesday to get the third-year running back some more work moving forward. Pierce said Wednesday that Alexander Mattison remains the starter but could cede more snaps to White, who showed "some positives last year" and now has "got to get out of his funk," according to Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site. Realistically, both are better suited for backup roles, but it's possible the pendulum swings back to White at some point in the coming weeks.

Tyjae Spears RB | TEN
Titans' Tyjae Spears: Limited practice Wednesday
Spears (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Spears has missed the Titans' last two games, but head coach Brian Callahan noted Wednesday that the running back "should be good to go" Sunday against the Patriots, per Wyatt. While Spears seemingly has a good chance to play this weekend, it's notable that fellow running back Tony Pollard missed Wednesday' session with a foot injury. The activity of both of the Titans' top two running backs will thus warrant monitoring over the next two days before Tennessee determines whether either or both carries an injury designation into Sunday's game.
-
Kendre Miller RB | NO
Saints' Kendre Miller: Opens week as DNP
Miller (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
Miller suffered a hamstring injury early in the second half of this past Sunday's game against the Chargers, which was severe enough for him to be ruled out for the rest of the contest. Miller will have two more chances to practice in at least a limited capacity before Sunday's game against the Panthers. If Miller is unable to suit up, Jamaal Williams would step into the backup role behind lead back Alvin Kamara.
-
Jamaal Williams RB | NO
Saints' Jamaal Williams: Nursing groin injury
Williams (groin) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday's injury report.
Williams played 30 snaps (21 on offense, nine on special teams) during the Saints' Week 8 loss to the Chargers and finished with just two carries for four yards. It was his highest snap count since Week 1, but that was due to Kendre Miller suffering a hamstring injury early in the second half. Miller was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's injury report, and if he cannot play against the Panthers on Sunday, Williams would reprise his role as the No. 2 running back behind Alvin Kamara, assuming Williams is able to overcome his groin injury.
-
Antonio Gibson RB | NE
Patriots' Antonio Gibson: Limited by toe injury
Gibson was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to a toe injury.
In this past Sunday's 25-22 win over the Jets, Gibson logged 13 snaps on offense, while rushing five times for seven yards in the contest. As long as Rhamondre Stevenson -- who finished with 20 carries in the Week 8 win -- is available, Gibson's fantasy value is limited while he continues to handle a complementary role out of the backfield.
