  • Sione Vaki RB | DET

Lions' Sione Vaki: Won't play Week 9

Vaki (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Packers.

Vaki looked to be on his way to being available Sunday after logging a full practice Thursday, but he was tagged as doubtful after not practicing Friday. The rookie fourth-round pick's next chance at suiting up will be Week 10 against the Texans on Sunday, Nov. 10. David Montgomery, Jahmyr Gibbs and Craig Reynolds will be the Lions' three running backs for Sunday's contest.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Appears set to play Sunday

Robinson (hamstring), who is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Robinson dealt with a hamstring injury throughout the week and was held to a trio of limited practice sessions. Despite the hamstring issue, he appears on track to suit up and take the field in the NFC East matchup versus New York. Robinson racked up 133 yards on 17 carries against the Giants when the teams met for the first time this season back in Week 2.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Likely to suit up Sunday

Jacobs, who is officially questionable for Sunday's matchup against Detroit due to an ankle injury, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Jacobs hurt his ankle late in last Sunday's win over Jacksonville and then sat out Wednesday's practice before participating on a limited basis Thursday and Friday. He entered the weekend with a designation but appears set to try to play through the injury. Jacobs will likely be getting the ball from quarterback Jordan Love, who is also expected to play Sunday, despite dealing with a groin injury that has him listed as questionable.

  • Tank Bigsby RB | PHI

Jaguars' Tank Bigsby: Likely to suit up Sunday

Bigsby, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles with an ankle injury, is expected to play in the contest, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.

An ankle injury held Bigsby to a trio of limited practices this week, but he looks like he'll be cleared to play in Philadelphia when Jacksonville releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Fellow running back Travis Etienne (hamstring) is also listed as questionable after taking part in three limited practices during the week, but it's not yet clear if he'll make his return from a two-game absence. If both players suit up Sunday, it will be interesting to see how opportunities are divided, as Etienne has been Jacksonville's No. 1 back for the majority of the season but Bigsby has thrived over the past two weeks, totaling 196 rushing yards on 44 carries (4.5 YPC) and adding a pair of touchdowns.

  • Ravens' Keaton Mitchell: Won't return for Week 9

Mitchell (knee) wasn't activated from the PUP list ahead of Sunday's matchup versus Denver, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Mitchell continues to make progress in his recovery from last December's torn ACL, and he was able to log a trio of full practices this week. Per Zrebiec, Baltimore is opting to give Mitchell more practice time before activating him, and he still has 11 days left on his 21-day practice window before the team has to make a decision on him, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. The Ravens have a quick turnaround after Sunday's contest with a Thursday matchup against Cincinnati in Week 10, and Mitchell isn't guaranteed to be cleared for that contest.

  • Tony Pollard RB | TEN

Titans' Tony Pollard: Trending toward playing Sunday

Pollard remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, but the Titans "feel good" about him and "anticipate he will play," Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.

Pollard didn't practice at all this week, but he plans to test his injured foot out during a pregame workout Sunday, and if all goes well, he should get the green light to play. The fact that fellow running back Tyjae Spears (hamstring) has already been ruled out for Sunday makes Pollard's status more consequential for Tennessee, though the team did sign running back Joshua Kelley to the active roster off the practice squad Saturday. Julius Chestnut is the only other healthy running back on the roster.

  • Panthers' Jonathon Brooks: Pro debut pushed back again

Brooks (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Carolina has been taking an extra cautious route with the later stages of Brooks' recovery from the ACL tear that he sustained in his right knee last Nov. 12. His practice regimen during Week 7 prep was LP-DNP-LP, followed by three consecutive capped sessions last week and a trio of full practices this week. Even so, Brooks' potential pro debut will be delayed to next Sunday, Nov. 10 against the Giants. In the meantime, the Panthers will continue to roll with Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders out of the backfield.

  • Joshua Kelley RB | TEN

Titans' Joshua Kelley: Signed to active roster

The Titans signed Kelley off the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Kelley was released by the Giants at the end of training camp, but he managed to catch on with the Titans' practice squad Oct. 15. With Tyjae Spears (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots and lead back Tony Pollard (foot) listed as questionable, Kelley could see some snaps out of the backfield in a rotational role.

  • Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Elevated for Week 9

The Commanders elevated Rodriguez from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

It's the third and final time this season that Washington can elevate Rodriguez from the practice squad. He'll give the Commanders depth at running back in case Brian Robinson (hamstring) is unable to play Sunday against the Giants.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Won't play vs. Philadelphia

Robinson (toe) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Robinson began the regular season on injured reserve due to a toe injury he suffered during training camp. His 21-day practice window opened Wednesday, and while he was a full practice participant in all three sessions this week, he will not be activated from IR before Sunday's contest. Robinson's next chance at suiting up will be Week 10 against Minnesota on Sunday, Nov. 10.
