    Kimani Vidal: Back to practice squad

    The Chargers signed Vidal to the practice squad Wednesday.

    Vidal couldn't earn a spot on Los Angeles' initial 53-man roster entering Year 2, but the 2024 sixth-round pick will stick around in an emergency reserve role on the practice squad. Across 10 regular-season appearances as a rookie in 2024, Vidal rushed just 43 times for 155 yards (3.6 YPC) and zero touchdowns. He also secured five of nine targets for 62 yards and one score.

    Max Hurleman: Goes to Steelers' practice squad

    Hurleman signed with Pittsburgh's practice squad Wednesday.

    Hurleman will remain in the Steelers organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The undrafted rookie out of Notre Dame signed with the Steelers in May.

  • Chris Collier: Back with Raiders

    Las Vegas signed Collier to its practice squad Wednesday.

    Collier was cut Tuesday but will remain with the Raiders. He played in three regular-season games with the team last year, gaining 12 yards on five carries.

    Trey Sermon: Joins Steelers' practice squad

    Sermon signed with Pittsburgh's practice squad Wednesday.

    Sermon and Lew Nichols have been added to the practice squad as organizational depth behind rostered running backs Jaylen Warren, Kaleb Johnson and Kenneth Gainwell. Sermon has suited up for 42 regular-season NFL games, including all 17 with the Colts last season.

    Lew Nichols: Sticks with Pitt on practice squad

    Nichols signed with Pittsburgh's practice squad Wednesday.

    Nichols went unclaimed on waivers, opening the door for him to remain in the Steelers organization as a depth option. He'll be joined on the practice squad by Trey Sermon while Jaylen Warren, Kaleb Johnson and Kenneth Gainwell begin the season on the 53-man roster.

  • Audric Estime: Joining Philly's practice squad

    Estime is in line to sign with the Eagles' practice squad, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

    Estime was embedded in a battle for a roster spot in a crowded Broncos backfield this summer and lost out to J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie. After getting cut Tuesday, Estime cleared waivers one day later and quickly found a new home. He'll now be a depth option in the event Saquon Barkley, Will Shipley or AJ Dillon needs to miss time for any reason.

  • Trayveon Williams: Signs with Browns' practice squad

    Williams signed with Cleveland's practice squad Wednesday.

    Williams and Ahmani Marshall will provide organizational depth at running back for the Browns. While Cleveland's depth chart at the position is uncertain, the Browns gained one more mouth to feed Wednesday when they claimed Raheim Sanders on waivers, adding him to the roster alongside Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson, as well as unsigned rookie Quinshon Judkins.

  • Ahmani Marshall: Staying in Browns organization

    Marshall signed with Cleveland's practice squad Wednesday.

    Marshall's path to a promotion to the roster got more complicated when the Browns added running back Raheim Sanders via waivers Wednesday, giving them three available running backs in Sanders, Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson, as well as unsigned rookie Quinshon Judkins. Like Judkins, Sampson and Sanders, Marshall is a rookie, having signed with Cleveland in April out of Appalachian State.

    Frank Gore: Returns to Bills

    Buffalo signed Gore to its practice squad Wednesday, Alec White of the team's official site reports.

    Gore was waived by the Bills on cutdown day Tuesday, but he's remaining with the organization on the practice squad. The 23-year-old will look to earn a chance on the active roster at some point during the season for what would be his NFL regular-season debut.

  • Kendall Milton RB | CIN

    Kendall Milton: Signs with Cincy's practice squad

    Milton signed with Cincinnati's practice squad Wednesday.

    Milton and Gary Brightwell both joined the Bengals' practice squad after going unclaimed on waivers following final cuts. They will provide organizational backfield depth behind Chase Brown, Samaje Perine and Tahj Brooks, who all made the 53-man roster.
