Cardinals running back Andre Ellington has been ruled out Week 13 against the Falcons.

Ellington left the game early due to a left hip injury. He gained 12 yards on five carries prior to leaving the contest. Ellington came into the week with a hip issue, and may have aggravated the injury.

Colts running back Dan Herron had only eight rushing attempts, but was able to gain 88 yards during a 49-27 win over Washington Sunday.

The majority of Herron’s yards came on a 49-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. He also added two receptions for eight yards on two targets. The eight rushing attempts were tied with running back Trent Richardson for a team high.

The Colts next play at Cleveland Week 14.

Cardinals running back Andre Ellington is questionable to return Week 13 against the Falcons.

Ellington is dealing with a left hip injury. He came into the contest with a hip issue, but was considered probable prior to the game. Ellington gained 12 yards on five carries before leaving the contest. 

Buccaneers featured back Doug Martin appeared on the verge of a strong game Sunday against Cincinnati. But his performance and that of the entire offense quickly fizzled out.

Martin rushed for 29 yards on seven attempts in the first quarter and added a 7-yard touchdown over right tackle early in the second to give him 48 yards on 10 carries. But he managed just 10 more yards on eight tries thereafter. He finished with 58 yards on 18 rushes and three yards on one reception.

The Buccaneers play against the host Lions next Sunday.

The Texans got a bunch of offensive contributions in their Week 13 blowout of Tennessee. Wideout Keshawn Martin made a 32-yard catch, tight end Ryan Griffin caught a wide-open swing pass for an 8-yard touchdown and defensive end J.J. Watt hauled in a 1-yard touchdown -- his fifth score this season.

Running back Jonathan Grimes gained 13 yards on five carries, and running back Alfred Blue added 6 yards on seven carries.

They'll all visit the Jaguars in Week 14.

The Patriots will have Tom Brady and Shane Vereen Week 13 against the Packers.

Brady was listed as probable due to an ankle injury. He was always expected to play. Vereen came into the contest listed as questionable. He's also dealing with an ankle injury, but will attempt to play through it. 

The team is also expected to have Danny Aiken, Dan Connolly, Dominique Easley and Brandon LaFell. All four players were also listed as questionable, but will try to play.

Marcus Cannon and Julian Edelman, who were considered probable, are also active for the contest.

The team will also have Lorenzo Alexander, Marcus Benard, John Brown and Drew Stanton for the contest. All four players came into the contest listed as probable. 

Three Buccaneers who had been deemed probable for the Week 13 game against visiting Cincinnati have been given the thumbs-up for action. They are defensive end Da'Quan Bowers (knee), safety Dashon Goldson (illness) and running back Charles Sims (ankle).

Jaguars linebacker Jeremiah George, cornerback Jeremy Harris, cornerback Teddy Williams, running back Storm Johnson, guard Tyler Shatley, offensive tackle Sam Young and defensive end Chris Smith were ruled inactive Week 13 vs. N.Y. Giants.

The Raiders declared running back Latavius Murray (concussion), quarterback Matt McGloin, wideout Denarius Moore, cornerback Neiko Thorpe (hand), safety Jonathan Dowling (back), guard Tony Bergstrom and defensive tackle Stacy McGee inactive for the game at St. Louis.
