Jonas Gray will play Week 13; share RB workload with Blount?
Patriots running back Jonas Gray will play Sunday at Green Bay a week after not seeing any game action, a source told CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora.
Gray was late to the team's facilities a few days after having a breakthrough game Week 11 and was sent home that day as a result. He was active Week 12 against the Lions, but he did not see any snaps as newly signed running back LeGarrette Blount paced the rushing attack.
However, Gray is slated to have a role Week 13, but depending on how the game progresses, there could be considerable work for both players, according to La Canfora. New England wants to establish a power running presence Sunday due to the weather in Green Bay and with the playoffs looming since both backs could play a key role in the postseason.
