Chris Johnson RB | ARI
Cardinals' Chris Johnson: Limited Wednesday
Johnson (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Johnson is tending to a knee injury at the moment, and his YPC in a given game has topped out at 3.63 over the last three contests (and four of the past five). Still, he's averaged 21 carries per outing during that stretch, meaning capped reps in practice could be strategic in order to get him in a better state of health. Nonetheless, interested parties should watch his activity level as the week continues to learn if he'll be hindered Sunday at San Francisco.

Thomas Rawls RB | JAC
Seahawks' Thomas Rawls: Limited Wednesday
Rawls was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Only a few short hours after Marshawn Lynch's sports hernia surgery was announced, Rawls landed on the injury report, though his ability to practice in some capacity doesn't really place a cloud over his Week 12 availability. Expected to start for the next 3-to-4 weeks, at least, in Lynch's place, Rawls has a Steelers defense on the docket that has given up 3.9 YPC but just two touchdowns to running backs this season.

Thomas Rawls RB | JAC
Seahawks' Thomas Rawls: Will start with Lynch out 3-4 weeks
Rawls will start for at least three to four weeks while Marshawn Lynch is out after undergoing sports hernia surgery Wednesday.
There's a slight chance Lynch could still be out for the season. Regardless, Rawls will probably get as many carries as he can handle.

Darren McFadden RB | DAL
Cowboys' Darren McFadden: Probable for Thursday
McFadden (groin) is listed as probable for Thursday's contest against the Panthers.
Since taking over the No. 1 RB role in Dallas in Week 7, McFadden has recorded three 100-yard rushing performances in five games, while receiving between 20 and 32 touches in each outing. Given such a massive workload, he should be able to produce against a staunch Carolina defense that has conceded 120.5 total yards per game and seven touchdowns to running backs in 2015.
-
Ryan Mathews RB | PHI
Eagles' Ryan Mathews: Ruled out for Thursday's game
Mathews (concussion) has been ruled out for Thursday's game in Detroit.
Mathews has made little progress in his quest through the concussion protocol, leaving the Eagles to trust in DeMarco Murray, Darren Sproles, and, to a lesser extent, Kenjon Barner out of the backfield. His next chance to take the field arrives on Dec. 6 at New England.

Joseph Randle RB | DAL
Joseph Randle: Arrested in Kansas
Randle was reportedly arrested Tuesday night and charged with one felony and five misdemeanors, stemming from what the Dallas Morning News describes as "a dust-up at the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, Kansas."
The 23-year-old has seemingly been allergic to positive press over the last two years, and this latest brush with the law won't help his cause as he looks for another opportunity in the NFL. If Randle ends up signing anywhere in the offseason, he'd have to serve a four-game suspension stemming from his violation of the league's Personal Conduct Policy, a ban that was handed down by the league shortly after he was released by the Cowboys earlier in November.

Charles Sims RB | TB
Buccaneers' Charles Sims: In on 28 snaps in Week 11 victory
Sims played on 28 offensive snaps in the Week 11 victory over the Eagles, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Sims played a clear second fiddle to Doug Martin on a day in which the Bucs starting tailback tallied 235 yards on the ground. Despite Martin's extraordinary day, Sims still received his second-highest number of carries in a game this season (10), and also posted his second-longest run of 2015 (17 yards). The second-year pro figures to continue receiving 5-8 carries a game most weeks, as well as a handful of looks in the passing game.
-
Doug Martin RB | LV
Buccaneers' Doug Martin: Plays 50 snaps in Week 11
Martin was in on 50 snaps in the Bucs' Week 11 victory over the Eagles, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The Bucs' starting tailback put together his most remarkable performance in three seasons and the second 200-yard outing of his career. Martin should have a clear and unquestioned hold on the majority of backfield snaps over the last six games of 2015 after sharing a significant load of playing time with backup Charles Sims in a handful of games this season.

Jerick McKinnon RB | KC
Vikings' Jerick McKinnon: Snatches two passes against Packers
McKinnon caught two passes off of three targets for 15 yards in Sunday's loss to Green Bay.
McKinnon tallied 10 total touches with Adrian Peterson feeling under the weather in Week 7, but has just seven touches since. The second-year player split carries with Matt Asiata last season, but has been relegated to just 2.5 carries per game in 2015. Posing as a limited threat in the passing game, McKinnon provides little to a fantasy team so long as Peterson is healthy.
