Gillislee ran for 93 yards and a touchdown on nine carries, and caught both of his targets for 16 additional yards in Sunday's win over the Cowboys.

Gillislee saw 11 touches while Karlos Williams got 19 in the absence of LeSean McCoy (knee), but the former Florida product was still able to finish as Buffalo's leader in yards from scrimmage. Look for Gillislee to stay involved in the offense next week against the Jets, as his recent high level of play should earn the 25-year-old some extra burn. Gillislee now has touchdowns in three straight games, and an incredible 10.4 yards per carry average on 23 totes this season.

Ellington (toe) is active for Sunday's contest against the Packers, Darren Urban of the Packers' official site reports.

Cleared to play for the first time since Week 12, Ellington will likely be relegated to a reserve role, which equated to about five touches per game behind Chris Johnson earlier in the season. With Johnson (broken tibia) sidelined for the foreseeable future, Ellington will spell current workhorse David Johnson.

Ellington (toe) is expected to play Sunday against the Packers, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Ellington, who is officially listed as questionable, was able to practice on a limited basis both Thursday and Friday. He has been sidelined since Week 12, and given the way David Johnson has played lately, it seems unlikely Ellington will get a significant number of touches in his first game back.

Jones (hip) is inactive for Saturday's game against the Eagles.

After being limited all week, Jones could not get right in time for Saturday's game. His absence will result in Alfred Morris and Chris Thompson getting the bulk of the snaps at running back in what could be a fairly high scoring contest against Philadelphia.

Anderson (back/ankle) is officially listed as probable for Monday's game against the Bengals.

He was a full participant in Saturday's practice after being limited earlier in the week. Ronnie Hillman will probably dominate the touches in the backfield again Monday, although he did lose a fumble last week, so further ball security issues from Hillman could result in extended snaps for Anderson.

Either Harris or Kendall Gaskins will likely start Sunday's game against the Lions with Shaun Draughn (knee) ruled out, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Harris was just added to the 49ers' roster this week, but the team has been hesitant to give Gaskins carries, so Harris could be the primary ball carrier Sunday despite his lack of familiarity with the offense. Gaskins figures to at least see action on passing downs after catching six passes last week, but Harris could provide fantasy value even if serves as the goalline back, with the 49ers facing a Lions defense that has allowed 18 rushing touchdowns -- tied for most in the league.

Either Gaskins or DuJuan Harris will likely start Sunday's game against the Lions with Shaun Draughn (knee) ruled out, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Gaskins has carried the ball for the 49ers just 14 times since being brought up from the practice squad in late October, but that's 14 more than Harris, who was just added to the roster this week. Gaskins did make an impact in the passing game last week with six receptions and 52 receiving yards, so he will likely at least serve as the running back on passing downs. If he gets the early-down and/or goalline work too, he could be a sneaky Week 16 option against a Lions defense that has allowed a league-high 18 rushing touchdowns.

Ellington was able to practice on a limited basis both Thursday and Friday, so he will have a chance to play Sunday for the first time since Week 12. David Johnson has established himself as the Cardinals' primary running back over the last couple weeks, so Ellington will likely play a complimentary role if he is able to take the field Sunday.

Ellington (toe) suited up for Friday's practice, Mike Jurecki of Fox Sports 910 reports.

It's not clear how much Ellington was able to get in Friday, but it's a good sign for his Week 16 availability that he was on the field for the second day in a row. The Cardinals will reveal Ellington's status for Week 16 at the conclusion of Friday's session.

Gillislee's teammate LeSean McCoy (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Vic Carlucci of The Buffalo News reports.

Karlos Williams is listed as probable, so it looks like Williams and Gillislee will share McCoy's usual workload. The team isn't saying who the starter will be (yet), but Williams, when healthy, has been the backup to McCoy all season and if he's close to full health he'd probably be the slightly better fantasy play. That said, Gillislee has looked great in limited time (14 carries for 146 yards and two scores) and no matter what he'll get his chances Sunday as well.
