  • Ka'Deem Carey RB | CHI

Bears' Ka'Deem Carey: Has one rushing attempt in Sunday defeat

Carey had one carry for 6 yards while catching his only target for an additional 12 yards Sunday against the Titans.

Carey was used sparingly to give teammate Jordan Howard an occasional breather, as Howard had 21 of the 24 touches given to the Chicago running backs. He'll likely have his most fantasy value as a handcuff to Howard, though he'd likely be in a timeshare with Jeremy Langford should Howard be forced to miss time.

  • Melvin Gordon RB | BAL

Chargers' Melvin Gordon: Records 89 total yards in win

Gordon carried the ball 17 times for 70 yards and also caught four passes for 19 yards in Sunday's win over the Texans.

Gordon earned over four yards a carry for the third time in the last four games, but that never materialized into big yardage totals as the Chargers weren't able to move the ball effectively save for their three touchdown drives. The second-year running back didn't factor in the passing game much either, as Gordon was mainly used as a checkdown option throughout the game. On pace for a 1,000-yard season, the 23-year-old should be in position to build upon his numbers with a home battle against the Buccaneers on tap next.

  • Terrance West RB | BAL

Ravens' Terrance West: Rushes for 48 yards in win

West carried the ball 13 times for 48 yards and added 16 yards on three catches in Sunday's win over the Bengals.

West seemed like he was heating up during a three-game stretch from Week 4 to Week 6, during which he averaged 108 total yards and scored three touchdowns. Now the only heat West is feeling is rookie Kenneth Dixon hot on his heels. This year's fourth-rounder has seen double-digit touches in three of the last four games and gathered more touches, 17 to 16, and yards, 80 to 64, than West on Sunday. Dixon deserves credit for the equaling, or even shifting, of power in Baltimore's offense - but West also isn't doing much to stop it. The bruising back has averaged just 2.9 yards per carry in the last five games since his Week 6 high mark.

  • Raiders' Latavius Murray: Active Sunday

Murray (ankle) is active for Sunday's game versus the Panthers.

Despite a lingering ankle concern, Murray should act as the lead back in Week 12, but Jalen Richard and even fullback Jamize Olawale could also get in the act against a Carolina defense that has allowed 121.7 yards from scrimmage per game to running backs this season.

  • Buccaneers' Jacquizz Rodgers: Inactive in Week 12 versus Seahawks

Rodgers (foot) is inactive for Sunday's Week 12 tilt against the Seahawks, the team's official site reports.

Rodgers was thought to have an opportunity to make his return as Doug Martin's primary backup Sunday, but the Bucs will exercise caution with his injured foot and hold him out at least another week. Peyton Barber figures to be the primary beneficiary of Rodgers' continued absence, with Mike James waiting in the wings as the seldom-used third backfield option.

  • Kenyan Drake RB | GB

Dolphins' Kenyan Drake: In uniform this week

Drake (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Drake is in uniform Sunday, but given his infrequent touches on offense these days, the rookie is off the fantasy radar for now.

  • Ronnie Hillman RB | DAL

Chargers' Ronnie Hillman: Inactive for Week 12 versus Texans

Hillman (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 12 tilt versus the Texans, the team's official site reports.

Just signed off waivers on Tuesday for depth purposes, the veteran running back will take a seat for his first game in a Chargers uniform. Hillman could well be active in Week 13 once he's had much more of an opportunity to acclimate to the team's offense.

  • Ravens' Lorenzo Taliaferro: Inactive for Week 12

Taliaferro (thigh) is inactive for Sunday's Week 12 matchup with the Bengals, ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley reports.

Taliaferro will be sidelined for a second straight game with the thigh injury, which prevented him from practicing all week. He'll be buried on the depth chart upon his return to full health, so it's not expected that he'll pick up enough touches to make much of a fantasy impact.

  • Jay Prosch RB | HOU

Texans' Jay Prosch: Ready to go Sunday

Prosch (hamstring) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Chargers.

Prosch has collected double-digit offensive snap counts for the past three weeks but has just one carry over that span, and he hasn't been targeted in the passing game. The fact he's active has little fantasy impact, outside of the fact that he'll be available to help pave the way for starter Lamar Miller.

  • Texans' Jonathan Grimes: Top backup in Week 12

Grimes' return to action for Week 12 coincides with Alfred Blue (calf) being ruled out of Houston's home game against San Diego.

With both Blue and Tyler Ervin (rib) out of action this week, Grimes and Akeem Hunt will be the backups to starter Lamar Miller. Neither backup should challenge a healthy Miller for more than a series or two.
