  • Jay Prosch RB | HOU

Texans' Jay Prosch: Ready to go Sunday

Prosch (hamstring) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Chargers.

Prosch has collected double-digit offensive snap counts for the past three weeks but has just one carry over that span, and he hasn't been targeted in the passing game. The fact he's active has little fantasy impact, outside of the fact that he'll be available to help pave the way for starter Lamar Miller.

  • Texans' Jonathan Grimes: Top backup in Week 12

Grimes' return to action for Week 12 coincides with Alfred Blue (calf) being ruled out of Houston's home game against San Diego.

With both Blue and Tyler Ervin (rib) out of action this week, Grimes and Akeem Hunt will be the backups to starter Lamar Miller. Neither backup should challenge a healthy Miller for more than a series or two.

  • Ryan Mathews RB | PHI

Eagles' Ryan Mathews: Ruled out against Green Bay

Mathews (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Green Bay, ESPN reports.

Darren Sproles and/or Wendell Smallwood will share the workload at running back with Mathews out.

  • Bills' Jonathan Williams: Could see uptick in usage

Williams' teammate Mike Gillislee (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Jacksonville.

Williams and Reggie Bush will now be the immediate backups to LeSean McCoy, who's more of an injury risk than usual as he's about to play with a dislocated thumb. Coach Rex Ryan is calling Williams and Bush his "2A and 2B" options for the game, though we'd figure Williams is the better bet for carries, since he's seen more than Bush so far (17 to nine) and is averaging far better yards per carry (3.59 to -0.22).

  • Buccaneers' Jacquizz Rodgers: May return Sunday

Rodgers (foot), who practiced in full Friday, is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Seahawks, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.

In the clearest indication yet that his return is imminent, Rodgers logged his first uncapped practice since suffering a sprained foot in Week 8. Even if he suits up Sunday, he may only have a change-of-pace role behind Doug Martin for a game or two due to the impending return of Charles Sims (knee). In any case, Rodgers' status will be monitored closely in advance of Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Ravens' Lorenzo Taliaferro: Doubtful to play

Taliaferro (thigh) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Bengals, CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Taliaferro didn't play last week and appears close to drawing a second consecutive DNP. If he's ultimately ruled out, Terrance West, Kenneth Dixon and Javorius Allen will continue to comprise the Ravens' backfield.

  • Raiders' Latavius Murray: Listed as questionable for Sunday's game

Murray (toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Murray is one of eight players listed as questionable by the Raiders, but after practicing in a limited fashion all week, we'd expect the running back to be a go for Sunday's 4:25 ET kickoff. Murray -- who headed into Week 11 with a questionable tag as well -- turned his 29 snaps in Monday's win over the Texans into 12 carries for 33 yards and five catches for 59 yards.

  • Kenyan Drake RB | GB

Dolphins' Kenyan Drake: Listed as questionable this week

Drake (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

Drake practiced in a limited fashion all week, which suggests that he has a solid chance to play Sunday; however, given his infrequent touches on offense these days, the rookie is off the fantasy radar for now.

  • Bills' Mike Gillislee: Ruled out for Week 12

Gillislee (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Meanwhile, LeSean McCoy is listed as questionable, but we'd expect him to be a go this weekend. With Gillislee out, Jonathan Williams and Reggie Bush are in line to handle the team's backup/complementary RB duties in Week 12.

  • Ryan Mathews RB | PHI

Eagles' Ryan Mathews: No practice Friday

Mathews (knee) did not suit up for Friday's practice, Zach Berman of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Mathews will sit out for the second straight day to give his sore knee additional rest. He will have one more opportunity to practice this week with the Eagles playing Monday, and he still has a chance to play in Week 12. However, even if he is able to get on the field, he could cede a chunk of his workload to Darren Sproles and/or Wendell Smallwood.
