  • Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Will report to team Monday

Elliott is scheduled to report to the Cowboys on Monday when his six-game suspension comes to a conclusion, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Since withdrawing his appeal of the suspension in mid-November, Elliott has been doing "intense training" in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico over the past six weeks, according to Rapoport. Elliott is said to be in terrific shape, with a recent picture of the second-year running back seemingly revealing a slimmer physique than he sported earlier in the season. The fact that Elliott has been able to keep himself in shape bodes well for his chances of reclaiming lead-back duties right away in Week 16 against the Seahawks as the Cowboys attempt to keep their playoff hopes alive.

  • Doug Martin RB | LV

Buccaneers' Doug Martin: Week 15 role unclear

The Buccaneers do not plan on naming a clear-cut starter between Peyton Barber and Martin for Monday night's game against the Falcons, leaving the latter's expected workload uncertain, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The news isn't necessarily unexpected, considering Martin totaled just 26 yards on 10 carries (although he did score a rushing touchdown) and was apparently benched after fumbling late in the second quarter versus the Lions in Week 14. Meanwhile, Barber was effective once again, compiling 58 yards on 12 rushes on the heels of a 23-carry, 102-yard effort versus the Packers in Week 13. With Auman reporting that head coach Dirk Koetter will essentially ride the hot hand versus Atlanta, Martin owners in the fantasy postseason may want to at least consider any available options among players on teams in the second wave of Sunday kickoffs or in the primetime matchup between the Cowboys and Raiders.

  • Austin Ekeler RB | WAS

Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Suffers broken hand Saturday

Ekeler was diagnosed with a broken hand following Saturday's 30-13 loss to the Chiefs, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Ekeler picked up the injury in the second half, finishing the outing with 19 yards from scrimmage and a lost fumble. The Chargers have yet to issue a comment on Ekeler's injury, but the expectation is that the rookie running back will miss the rest of the season. His likely absences paves the way for Branden Oliver to reenter the Chargers' backfield mix as the top backup to Melvin Gordon.

  • Terrance West RB | BAL

Ravens' Terrance West: Healthy scratch Week 15

West (coach's decision) is inactive Week 15 against the Browns.

West was absent from the injury report this week, so he'll be a healthy scratch yet again for the Ravens. Look for Alex Collins to be the lead rusher in Baltimore, with Danny Woodhead active on passing downs and Javorius Allen also in the mix.

  • Austin Ekeler RB | WAS

Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Could miss time with hand injury

Ekeler suffered a hand injury in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Chiefs and could miss time as a result, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Ekeler was labeled as questionable to return after suffering the injury in the fourth quarter, but never earned any touches during the team's final two offensive drives. He wrapped up the outing with two carries for 13 yards and one reception for six yards, with the 19 yards from scrimmage marking his lowest output since Oct. 15 against the Raiders. More concerning than the lack of production is Ekeler's injury, which could threaten his availability for the Week 16 matchup with the Jets. The Chargers should have a better idea of Ekeler's outlook for that contest when they resume practicing Wednesday.

  • Ameer Abdullah RB | JAC

Lions' Ameer Abdullah: Minimal usage in return

Abdullah rushed once for eight yards during Saturday's 20-10 victory over the Bears. He also turned three of four targets into 18 yards.

Abdullah logged eight offensive snaps compared to 33 for Theo Riddick (wrist) and 23 for Tion Green. The latter two saw eight and 10 carries, respectively. This all comes after days of speculation that Abdullah was a healthy scratch last week against Tampa Bay. While it's possible the Lions are easing him back from his neck injury, which are treated cautiously in today's age, there seems to be a real case for the Lions having found a rushing attack they can rely on. On 150 carries across 11 games this season, Abdullah has averaged 3.4 yards, including a 2.8 YPC clip across his last six outings. Meanwhile, Green averaged 4.1 YPC in the two recent games he received at least a 10-carry workload while Riddick -- normally a receiving specialist -- stumbled out of the gates but has averaged 4.2 yards per tote since Week 10, matching Abdullah's season-total rushing touchdown mark in the process (three).

  • Tion Green RB | DET

Lions' Tion Green: Remains No. 2 runner

Green carried 10 times for 35 yards but wasn't targeted in the passing game during Saturday's 20-10 victory over the Bears.

Green didn't play much in the first half, as Theo Riddick (wrist) led the pack with 30 offensive snaps, compared to seven for Green and four for Ameer Abdullah. However, Green started the second half and saw more playing time as the game went on, ultimately finishing with 23 reps, compared to 33 for Riddick and eight for Abdullah. With that said, Riddick exited with an injury in the fourth quarter with plenty of time remaining, so the final playing-time distribution is slightly skewed in Green's favor. Regardless, if Saturday's game was any indication, Green seems to have surpassed Abdullah for the No. 2 slot on the depth chart, which is a role that should command eight-to-10 carries on a weekly basis with potential goal-line responsibilities on the side. In Week 16, Green and the Lions will square off with a Bengals defense that's allowed only 6.6 yards per carry this season, sixth-best in the league.

  • Melvin Gordon RB | BAL

Chargers' Melvin Gordon: Scores, racks up 169 scrimmage yards

Gordon carried 19 times for 78 yards and a touchdown Saturday against the Chiefs. He also caught six of eight targets for 91 yards in the 30-13 loss.

Gordon churned out yardage to the tune of 4.1 yards per carry against a tough Chiefs front and found the end zone from two yards out in the second quarter. He assumed a pass-catching role as his team got behind on the scoreboard, totaling a season high in receiving yardage thanks in large part to a 49-yard long gain. Despite the disappointing result for his team, Gordon put forth a tremendous effort for his fantasy owners and has now found the end zone in back-to-back weeks. He'll look to carry this momentum into next Sunday's game against the Jets.

  • Bears' Benny Cunningham: Scores touchdown in Week 15

Cunningham caught four passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's defeat to the Lions.

Cunningham was largely invisible until the Bears fell behind 20-3 in the second half, then found himself frequently operating as the receiving back in the hurry-up offense. As a result, he was targeted five times, and was able to turn a screen pass into a short touchdown in the fourth quarter. His 33 yards of offense was his highest total since Week 4, and this was the first time he posted 20 yards of offense in any of his last five games. With fewer than 200 total yards on the season, he hasn't been a strong fantasy option.

  • Dolphins' Damien Williams: Ruled out for Week 15

The Dolphins ruled out Williams (shoulder) for Sunday's game in Buffalo, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.

After a limited showing at Thursday's practice, Williams seemed to test out the state of his left shoulder, but ultimately a lack of activity Friday and a doubtful designation for Week 15 sealed his fate. Out of the lineup for a third consecutive game, he'll yield the backfield to Kenyan Drake, who has reeled off 334 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown the last two contests.
