Hills was released off the Lions' practice squad Saturday.

The 24-year-old signed with the practice squad earlier in October but will lose his spot as Detroit brings aboard fellow RB Paul Perkins. Hills is still looking to make his NFL debut after going undrafted out of Slippery Rock in 2017.

The Redskins promoted Reynolds to the active roster from the practice squad Saturday, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.

Reynolds will serve as the No. 3 running back on Washington's depth chart with Chris Thompson (toe) ruled out for Week 7. The Kutztown product took reps with the first-team offense in practice earlier in the week, per Rhiannon Walker of The Athletic, making it conceivable that Reynolds could have an offensive role versus the 49ers on Sunday.

Gore was cut from the Chargers' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

The Chargers apparently needed Gore's services for a couple of days of practice as he had just signed Wednesday. The 22-year-old is once again a free agent.

Washington could have a role on offense with Alvin Kamara (ankle) out for Sunday's game in Chicago, Larry Holder of The Athletic reports.

Washington has played each of his 103 snaps on special teams this season, stuck behind Kamara and Latavius Murray in the backfield. Murray will handle the lead role Sunday, with Washington and Zach Zenner providing depth against a tough Chicago defense. Zenner just signed with the team Wednesday, so he's more likely to have an impact on special teams than anything else.

Murray is poised for a lead role in the Saints offense with Alvin Kamara (ankle) ruled out for Sunday's game in Chicago, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.

With only Dwayne Washington and Zach Zenner behind him on the depth chart, Murray figures to take on the majority of Kamara's usual workload, albeit against a tough Chicago defense. The Bears have looked a bit more vulnerable this season, allowing Josh Jacobs to run for 123 yards and two touchdowns when star DE Akiem Hicks suffered a major elbow injury two weeks ago in London. Hicks is now on injured reserve, while the Saints have a healthy offensive line that consistently ranks among the best in the league. Murray and Michael Thomas will need to do the heavy lifting on offense with Kamara joined by Jared Cook (ankle) and Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) on the inactive list.

Perine signed with the Bengals' practice squad Friday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM Radio reports.

Perine was waived off Cincinnati's 53-man roster Thursday but will remain with the organization after going unclaimed on waivers. The 2017 fourth-round pick primarily played special teams during his six games on the active roster.

Mostert (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Washington, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Held out of practice the previous two days, Mostert upgraded to limited participation Friday. He's been limited to 11 carries and 31 offensive snaps in the two games since Tevin Coleman returned from an ankle injury. The 49ers will release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 1 p.m. EDT kickoff.

Edmonds is the only healthy running back on the Cardinals' roster, with David Johnson (ankle) listed as questionable and D.J. Foster (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Johnson is considered a game-time decision, with coach Kliff Kingsbury sounding less than optimistic when he spoke to the media Friday afternoon. If Johnson lands on the inactive list before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, Edmonds likely will handle a three-down role in a fast-paced offense that seemed to hit its stride the past couple weeks. The Cardinals would need to sign another running back in that scenario, potentially calling up Justin Davis from the practice squad. Meanwhile, the Giants have given up the 10th-most fantasy points to running backs, including 33 catches for 347 yards on 36 targets (9.6 YPT).

Kamara (ankle/knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Chicago, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Kamara struggled while playing through an ankle injury last week and picked up a knee ailment somewhere along the way. He was held out of practice each day this week, casting doubt on his status even beyond Week 7. The Saints will turn to Latavius Murray as their lead back Sunday, with Dwayne Washington and Zach Zenner on hand in reserve.

Bawden (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

Bawden appeared on Friday's injury report as a limited participant in practice. He seems to have suffered a back injury mid-week. If Bawden is unable to go Week 7, the Lions will have to make due without a healthy fullback on the roster.
